"Best Western Henderson"
If you're travelling through the area without kids this is a good resting place. Only draw back I had is absolutely no cell coverage from T-Mobile in this town, not even a roaming provider. Friendly family run sports bar in the hotel with a better menu than I have come to expect in small towns.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best Western - Henderson, TX"
Very pleasant stay. Food at dinner was excellent, but more than I could eat (that's a positive). Clerk told us breasfast was served until 10 AM, but it closed down at 9:15 AM. Very little left to eat. Need to get this right.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Room had a foul oder. Dogs were barking everytime you walked by a room on the 2nd floor which appeared to be someone's permanent residence. The pool was more green the blue. The only good thing I can say is about the lady who fixes the omelets. Great cook but I still wouldn't go back just for that.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Hotel in Henderson"
The hotel was in a pretty good location to do what we were there to do. Everything was satisfactory but it took about 3hours to get the room cooled for sleeping. Good thing we were out for a couple of hours before returning to the room. Breakfast was really good. Thanks...Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Love Best Westerns"

I like all Best Westerns as I get the most for my dollar. The rooms are great, beds and pillows are comfortable, staff is always nice. I've stayed in Henderson and Carthage, Texas, and loved them both!!

We stopped here on our way through the room was clean with mold in the bathroom the beds had very little bedding no comforter just an old thin blanket between 2 sheets, cords running from the wall to the table so when you get out of bed you trip over the lamp cord, the beds very uncomfortable very old needs updated Breakfast we had a party of three so my husband and and I went to get 5 cups of coffee and we were told we only paid for a 12 oz cup per person WHAT Seriously they want to charge you $10 per dog even service animals they had to call the owner on that issue weight limit no dogs over 10 pounds They charge $10for a roll up bed as well it's all posted the tv was 32 inch good channels I won't stay there again until the Best Western standards are met hope this help

We are a couple in our early 60's. We travel regularly and were in TX to visit family. We stayed in room 114 for two nights and were very pleased. The furniture, bedding, mini-fridge, microwave, and 4 cup coffee maker are all new. The king size bed was very comfortable. The desk was perfect for our laptop with one of the new lamps with electric plugs on the base. Very convenient. The whirlpool tub worked perfectly and I really enjoyed it. The bathroom is completely updated. Towels were soft and fluffy. The breakfast was wonderful both mornings. The cooked to order eggs are delicious. Check in and check out were easy. All the staff were pleasant and helpful.

I have stayed in several hotels in the area, and this was the first to meet my expectations. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and offered a wonderful breakfast. I didn't care for the soap/shampoo dispensers. The soap smelled almost medicinal. The noise level was also an issue. I am an adult that was traveling single, and was in a room with small children. The family was extremely loud and I got very little sleep. Also kept awake as there were people out by the pool arguing and fighting through the night.

"OK for the Price"

The hotel is ok for the price. The hotel is at least 30+ years old. They have made some changes and some updates. The grounds are kept up pretty nicely, but the parking lot could use some work. The king size bed should have large pillows vs. sofa type. They were quite uncomfortable.
"Renewed and spiffy"

This BW is an older model that has been completely refurbished inside. The walls are freshly painted, the carpets are clean, the beds have been replaced and the service is great. One of the best things about the older motels is the size of their swimming pools. This one is HUGE. There is a restaurant on the premises. We had a room on the west side that was very bright and warm. If you want cool in the summer ask for one on the east (pool) side of the building. Their breakfast is "to die for". Omelets cooked to your order, breakfast burritos, waffles, cereal, pastries and fruit. Much more than expected at the room rates charged.

The hotel is old and in need of repair. It's not that its dirty it's old and run down and they tell you it's $75 a night and it's really $90 a night. We stayed in room 238 and the A/C unit button is broken you could only have AC ON not able to adjust it any way the button was gone there was a hole where you should be able to press down.....we even tried to push it with a ink pen....so it was either freezing or hot in our room...the smoke detector gave a high pitched BEEP every few minutes....very annoying. It was an ok place because we were not in the room that much ...but for the price you pay it was WAY WAY WAY below what I would expect out of a $100 room!!
"Ok for the $ paid, not the best hotel in town but certainly not the worst"

Pros: Good price, good breakfast, friendly staff Cons: Small room, live, dying, and dead bugs covered all over the ground at entrance, cigarette smell everywhere to different degrees, broken gym equipment, can't accommodate late check out at 1 pm
"Very good stop"

The staff was very helpful, room was very clean and comfortable. The eggs to order breakfast was excellent. I have stayed here occasionally in the past ten years or so and the hotel was better than it had ever been before. There must be new management that has chosen to upgrade the facility.
