"Really enjoyed our 2 night getaway"
The friendly demeanor of the staff was suburb. They were very accommodating, we upgraded to the third floor for the little balcony. The view was wonderful, the location was great and the room was very comfy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
For the cost of the room I was really disappointed. It was so small and only had 2 chairs. I was there with relatives that stayed in another room. They had a lot bigger room, had 6 chairs in the room, and a partial view of the ocean. She paid a lot less because she didn't have the full ocean view. I have stayed in motels that were way nicer for a lot […] less money! I would never stay there again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Service was fine, no complaints. Nothing fancy but it wasn't bad either. The housekeeping wasn't really much at all. They just took the garbage out, but the bed wasn't even made. I love the location though, right by the beach and in walking distance of everything. The rooms could use an update as well as the cable or tv looked old.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Anniversary at Seashore Inn"
My husband and I hadn't been able to get away for our 40th June wedding anniversary. It was a much needed weekend getaway. I was pleasantly surprised with the comfort and location of the Inn. I would highly recommend it to family and friends.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The only good thing I found about this hotel was that it was located in front of the beach. Other than that, not too pleased with this hotel. Rooms didn't have A/C except for a old fan that kept falling down. I dont believe we would stay there again. Pool is not convenient and breakfast was NOT what we expected. When you see continental breakfast you […] expect more than just juice and a hard bagel. Very disappointed. Staff was very helpful when we arrived though, cant complain. We had an early check-in and they accommodated us early and called us when our rooms were ready. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Wonderful place to stay. Perfect location.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cute and basic"
Great location, friendly staff, and affordable compared to surrounding hotels. The only problem I had was that the pool/hot tub was only open until 10:00 pm, the "continental" breakfast was only bagels and muffins, and not all of the rooms had balconies to the outside. The beds weren't that bad, the bathroom didn't have a fan, it was clean and very […] basic. They offered a box of kindling, newspaper, and firewood for bonfires for $10, which I thought was great! I would definitely stay there again if it was only going to be for a couple days. If I choose to stay longer I would probably go with one of the rooms with an outside balcony and a full kitchen. The location was important so we were willing to forgo all of the fancy stuff. The staff definitely made up for it as well, they were very nice people. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location for beach access and shopping."
There were quite a few very loud people next door, kids running up and down the walkways, just was too much. I look for peace and quiet on vacation. The location was perfect for walking on the beach and very close to the main shopping strip. The shower in our room was amazing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"location, location, location"
Friendly staff, continental breakfast, comfortable room, great price, perfect spot on the prom, my new seaside hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We love it. It was ou 25th anniversary and spent it here. The place was great and the employees were friendly, helpful, and very sweet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location right on the boardwalk / beach"
When I booked this hotel I did not know anything about it, I just knew I wanted a room that was on the beach. I picked this one because of the location and price (was one of the better prices for the location). I must say I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the room and the bed was really comfortable. The staff were all very friendly as well. […] The location was great and the view was spectacular. We were on the third floor and you could sit on the bed and see the ocean. The only thing I wish was different was the balcony, it was not big at all and you could hardly sit comfortably in a chair out there. I would definitely stay there again. "Another Pleasant Stay"
This is our 3rd time staying at this hotel, but the first time staying in a non-ocean-view room. It was a last-minute reservation, and there were no Ocean view rooms available. The room was very clean and welcoming though. There was no A/C, but its the Oregon coast, We opened up a window and the ocean breeze was great. Got a chance to enjoy the hot […] tub to rejuvinate my body from a long day of playing on the beach. Speaking of the beach, The Seashore Inn has and entrance directly onto the beach about a 100 feet from the "turnaround." GREAT LOCATION!: on the beach, and within WALKING distance to all the Broadway stores and attractions, as well as surrounding locations suck as the river rentals, and convention center, which was great because my wife is pregnant. Yeah, its an older building that could use a few updates here and there, but for the price and location, I have no complaints. I'll probably be staying there again Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Recommend paying for an ocean view room. Balcony was small, but was nice to be able to stand out and enjoy the view. The beach access was also a huge plus!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Seashore Inn in Seaside, OR"
Staff at the Inn were very nice and wecoming. The Inn itself could used a general upgrade and restoration. Our room was fine and the price reasonable. We were bothered by noise in the parking lot late at night after we had gone to bed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The place definitely needs updating. The office staff were extremely nice and helpful. The ocean view was very nice, although it was only through a window and not a sliding glass door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dated, but very clean and well-maintained"
This is a very dated property, but, honestly, it doesn't matter. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The location is extraordinary. The rate was awesome. We very much enjoyed our stay. We could probably do without the warnings posted everywhere in the room and on the property, but, we understand why they are there!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The office smelled of urine. No tub, just this three by three by one foot thing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"needs some TLC"
The hotel is in need of updating, The drapes in our room were falling apart, the carpet was torn and frayed-badly-and it has been a while since it was painted. We were very disappointed in the "continental breakfast". There was no where to sit and it was very limited in that it was muffins(one kind), bagels(one choice) yogourt and one choice of fruit. […] No coffee other than the "brew yourself" in the room. The location of the hotel was excellent.Close to the beach, shopping, restaurants and entertainment. The owners would be wise to pay attention to some details. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice View but that's about it"
It was ok. A little pricy for what you get but in peak season, I guess it makes sense. If I could do it all over again, I'd recommend staying in Cannon Beach over Seaside if you are a couple and not a familyGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Direkt in Strandnähe"
"On the beach, perfect location"
07/27/14 Kiwiexplorer27 Victoria, Canada
Location is excellent, right on the beach and an easy walk to the local restaurants. Rooms are dated but are clean and adequate . Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beach chairs and towels are provided. Great for families.

Well it was a good location and clean, but not too excited about the room. Check in was in an open air room with two girls behind desks eating. The hotel was busy as it was a weekend when we were there and the breakfast room is very small. So if you don't want to be standing somewhere or take food back to your room, I suggest you get up early and go down to eat. You are about 3 blocks from the beach and that isn't bad. The town just wasn't what we expected. Too much like a carnival atmosphere to us and very crowded.

We stayed July 2014. This hotel is Directly on the beach! (Best access of all hotels in my opinion) Volleyball and swings for the kids right on the door step. Hotel rooms are good size with mini fridge and microwave. Hotel will give u chairs for the beach, firewood for a bon fire on the beach ( which is a must) for a small fee, as well as DVDs to rent. Hotel had indoor pool, sauna and hot tub in all good condition. Staff was very friendly! Shopping strip was only a block away. Only con was breakfast, bagels and apple juice, but did have good coffee! Definitely recommend and plan to stay there again,
"Good bang for your buck ! "

Great accommodations , family friendly. Breakfast included , ocean views, beach towels and toys provider. All of seaside seems to be on the rundown side and while the rooms seemed dated I wouldn't call them run down. I would recommend this to friends and family who agree you go to the coast to be on the coast not in your room!
"Awesome location and awesome view"
07/19/14 BHL1967 Seattle, Washington
If you like waking up to the sound of the ocean, this is your place. When they say on the beach, you are on the beach. The only thing separating you is a cute promenade which goes down the beach. It’s a great place to people watch. The staff at the hotel are welcoming and friendly. There was an initial mix up of our reservation but Bethany handled it effortlessly and found a great solution for us. Positives: Downtown is an easy stroll and there are plenty of things to do and see nearby (when you get tired of the beach of course). In the evening you can have campfires on the beach, which many people do. The hotel will sell you everything you need for it for $10, which when comparing to the nearby Safeway was actually a pretty good deal for what you got. There are also complimentary towels for the beach specifically at the hotel. There is complimentary sandcastle equipment for the kids to use. The pool also has life vests for children and towels are readily available. There is coffee available at all times the office is open. Negatives: Although the room was sufficiently clean on our arrival, the rooms don't get as thoroughly cleaned as I would have liked (e.g. vacuuming is a bit lacking, table wasn’t wiped down). Our room didn't have air conditioning which wasn't much of a problem as fans were provided. I did notice that as we were getting ready to leave the temp outside was much warmer and it became a bit uncomfortable. If you are looking for a big breakfast, this is not your place. Only muffins and bagels with juice and coffee are provided. However, that was plenty for us. I will say that although the muffins were packaged (e.g. not fresh), they were moist and delicious. All in all I would recommend this place for anyone.
Rooms appear to of been redone recently. The location cannot be beat! Wonderful views! The staff was really nice! Breakfast is bagels, muffins, coffee and juice. It was ok by me because bagels are something I only get on vacation.l. In my opinion here are the pros and cons Pros: Location! Quiet Nice staff Updated room Big tv Clean Feel it's safe around here Cons: Parking by the rooms were full Internet connection was slow. Didn't really get on wifi while we were here TV channels would not change. It was after hours and didn't want to call the office but it was a bit of an inconvenience. Rooms are a bit pricey but I feel they are comparable to others in the area Overall the good outweighs the bad and I would consider staying here again.
"BEST STAFF EVER!"
07/08/14 imagemaker1313 Kansas City, Missouri
I stayed here 6/27 for 4 nights for a bucket list trip. I cannot tell you how much I enjoyed the staff, the room, the beach, and this town! Any room is great, but I would definitely recommend one of the upper floors just because of the balcony. Great for people watching and just watching the ocean at sunset! The beds are SO comfy, which is one of my biggest worries when I travel. I have health issues and if I don't sleep well I get very sick. Not a problem here! Clean, soft bed and an assortment of pillows that are heavenly! Continental breakfast is basic but free, so no complaints there. The town is GREAT, I think that some people are expecting a resort type upper class beach area but that is not what Seaside is. I would move here in a heartbeat, and everywhere I went the people were friendly and welcoming! Mike who owns the Rasta Shop on Broadway was super nice and told me about a lot of local attractions, as well as Cannon Beach and Astoria. Tillamook has killer cheese, it is a definite trip and Astoria has the Goonies house :) Seaside is very down to earth and middle class hard working residents are always welcoming, which made me feel very at home. There is a Safeway grocery store minutes away as is Rite Aid, an outlet mall, movie theater, and a great tattoo shop. Also I highly recommend hitting the Fred Myer superstore on way back from Astoria to grab your cheap beach stuff. Bottom line, I would come back to Seashore Inn every month if I could! You cannot ask for a better staff, cleaner rooms, or more peace of mind than here. FYI, I am a single female who was traveling alone, and I can honestly say I always felt safe at this hotel and in town no matter what time of day or night it was.
"Nice hotel, questionable town"
06/26/14 Annie7557 Renton, Washington
We enjoyed our stay at the hotel, but we probably won't come back, although it's probably more because of the area. There were a lot of people smoking in the area, and the town looked fairly poor. The hotel, though, was nice. The view from our room was spectacular. The room was clean, roomy, and it had refrigerator and microwave. Hotel staff was friendly. There were free beach towels and free buckets and shovels for kids to play in the sand. The hotel also has a pool, hot tub, sauna, and sun room. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, but the sauna never got warm. The breakfast wasn't very impressive. It just had tea/coffee, Ocean Spray brand orange and apple juice, cheap muffins, bagels, and oranges. Overall, if not the area, we would probably come back. We drove to Cannon Beach, which is about 15 minutes away, and the town looked a lot nicer, although I would guess that hotels are more expensive there.
"Best Access To Beach In Seaside"
06/21/14 Richard E Coos Bay, Oregon
This motel has the best beach access of any motel in seaside. As you can see in the photo, the lobby opens right onto the boardwalk, right in line with the steps to the beach. The lifeguard station is right there too, and volleyball nets and swingsets right on the beach directly across from the Seashore Inn. The place is a little older than the next door neighbor (Shiloh Inn) , but the Shiloh does not have really easy beach access. The rooms are clean comfortable and roomy, but not modern. Some of the downstairs rooms have covered patios, and some of the upstairs rooms have balconies. All the rooms have beach/ocean views. Parking is good, and there is an indoor pool which is nice. The Complimentary Breakfast is nothing more than coffee, juice, bagels, and muffins. Overall, I would not stay anywhere else on my next visit to Seaside, Oregon.
"This place is great"
05/24/14 Mark3374 Canmore, Canada
I just got back from a 4 night stay with the wife and boy did this place deliver. Friendly staff, clean room and right on the beach. I can't really add much that hasn't already been said but I can't wait to come back.
