The hotel was adequate and the location convenient for the event I attended. The price was reasonable. I appreciated the free continental breakfast. The breakfast room--an interior room without windows--is small and was crowded both days I was there. Alternate seating is in the more pleasant lobby with windows! Also at this Best Western, unlike at other BWs where I've stayed, the towels noticeably scratchy, not soft, are either old or require different laundering.

This might be the nicest hotel based right on the ocean at Ocean Beach. The staff was very helpful, the room immaculate, and the location second to none. I've stayed at a number of hotels in the area, but I won't stay anywhere but here in the future. You can't go wrong with an ocean front suite!

We needed a last min getaway for a few days to unwind and enjoy a romantic getaway. The hotel staff was awesome very friendly made us common folk feel like celebrities. Great service location and atmosphere . If your dog people you will love this hotel very pet friendly. We will be staying here again and bring our dog as well . The ac in the room was a lil uncopertive however the weather was perfect so not much use was needed. Room service food was great small portions but very tasty. Location is great have drinks on the. 9 h floor lounge and what the game from a spectacular view.

Book the rooms by phone very efficient and friendly. Guranteed price match - felt confident and comfortable about the choosing. Service in this hotel was excellent. Would recommend to friends and families.
"Under renovation"
The hotel, or hotels.com should have mentioned that the hotel is under renovation, with the the breakfast area and lobby closed. The breakfast is served in a collection of converted rooms on the ground floor.....a certain lack of ambience. There is no where to sit. The recently renovated pool and spa area looks onto the I 15 freeway, so the noise levels […] are quite high. There is no lobby available, so no seating area. A good spot for somewhere to sleep, nice and quiet at night. Clean well appointed room, and spacious. Rooms themselves were great, but lobby, breakfast area, fitness room, etc were under construction, so makeshift rooms were set up. It may be nice once it's finished, but I wish I had known beforehand.

They have a great continental breakfast here. Usually hotel breakfast consists of cold cereal and some fruit...and this place is nothing like that! The waffles are the best!
We love the SpringHill Suites hotels. However this trip, not so much. There was a softball tourney going on locally so there were teens and young kids running all over the place; NOT the hotel's fault (the PARENTS fault!). The security guard tried to contain them, but they proved to be too much for him on occassion. Because of the mass of people the […] breakfast room was SWAMPED the entire time it was open (but the blueberry muffins were WAY tasty!) We did have an issue with our tub and it not draining. The only complaint we had with our stay was beyond the control of the hotel. It had to do with the inconsiderate guests. Loud talking in the hallway and bad manners at breakfast. Breakfast was a zoo.
