Excellent budget accommodations. Could use some maintenance, but certainly clean. Short drive or even walking distance to Pacific war Museum. At one end of town so many would consider a long walk to many of the sights.

We stayed 2 nights. We asked that they not clean our room til we left. They left us some more towels and and coffee. It is not the top of the line hotel, but very comfortable and was clean. I have stayed in worse that cost more. I think that my money was well spent. They had waffles and cereal items for breakfast. My husband was traveling to Fredericksburg on business and I came with him which meant the dogs had to join us. It's very difficult to find a dog friendly hotel these days so I was very thankful to find them and that it wasn't a cheep dive hotel.

The location is excellent. We easily walked to the sights we wanted to see in Fredrickburg. The surrounding hotels were a lot more expensive. If you book this hotel -- which I recommend -- keep in mind it is a 1980s motel with 1980s furniture. However, it is clean and the staff is friendly.

The Hotel its self was really nice, when I got to my room the TV would not work and had to call for help with that, then around midnight the AC stopped working, so room got pretty warm, and I think that there should be more smoking rooms instead of your patrons having to step out of the room to have a smoke! The cost factor is very inviting. We were please with all aspects. Gordon, Danny and all members at the front desk were extremely helpful. Next door is Mamacita's which is fantastic service and food/drink choices. It is definitely our choice for a return trip.

Everything was clean, water was hot, air conditioning worked. Maintenance man was friendly when passing by, and also recommended a diner for us to try which ended up being good. For the price we paid per night, there really shouldn't be any complaints.

It's old and run down and there isn't much to work with. They actually put out some light green wash clothes and the same color towel one day. The first room I went in smelled of dampness and mold and the second wasn't much better, masked with cleaning fluid. The bathrooms were very small, not all the electrical outlets were covered. The breakfast room […] was too small and crowded, we didn't even attempt it. There were lots of out of town workers staying there it appears for an extended period. The bed was good, the television was o.k., the ac/heat was very noisy but worked properly. I really don't understand the good reviews that I saw before I chose to stay here. The pool was in a parking lot shared with a steak house, what was that about? The location was good for the shops but a bull dozer is the next phone call they should make so they can start over from the ground up. Read more

The outside of the hotel looked fine. once inside the room, it is old, and needs to be upgraded. the bathroom fixtures are stained. the hotel is just tired.

when we arrived and checked into our room, we noticed that the bathtub was not cleaned at all. It had soap scum and hairs from previous customers. That was nasty. We called staff and they have send housekeeping right away to clean the tub. The toilet had a small flowing drain, which caused the toilet to overflow all over the floor and into the carpet, […] but they took care of it right away. Do not stay here. I booked this room because it was the only available. I new this going in, but will say, that I should have stayed at the deer lease cabin, it would have been much better. The front desk, is very good, and take care of booking with no problem. The hotel is described as updated. I suppose if you consider a sloppy coat of paint, and […] a terrible shower curtain rod, an update, then ok. The coffee pot requires moving it to the only available outlet by the sink, and stringing the cord across the only sink in the room. The carpet should not be walked upon without some foot covering. The toilet handle should be jiggled after flushing to stop it from running. Please do not consider using the bathroom exhaust fan, it sounds louder than the Harleys that rumble through the parking lot at all hours. The worst part is that the queen bed my wife and I slept in was the worst I have experienced in my life. The deer lease bed is way better. You get in the bed, and roll to the hole in the middle. this is the type of mattress that gives invalids bedsores. Enjoy the "continental breakfast", a toaster, a half loaf of bread, your choice of raisin bran, frosted flakes, and some funky packaged cinnamon rolls. If you stay here, be aware that you are sharing a hotel complex that is renting out many of it's rooms on a weekly, monthly basis to those people that are waiting your tables, and cleaning your room. Hotel was good, good location, clean and fresh. The A/C was great as well. The Restaurant next door "K-B%b#" was horrible, we waited a hour and a half for breakfast, I initially complained to the manager that it was taking to long to take orders. They obviously didn't care, still took an hour after that to get served.

We paid a very cheap price for two queens and for one night. It was a great location for Oktoberfest at a great price. However, there were bugs in our room. They were small but I hate bugs and I will not stay at this hotel again. If you don't mind the bugs and are on a budget this is a great hotel for you and some friends/family.

Basically, the desk staff at this hotel is probably not going to resolve any issue you have related to the quiet or comfort of your stay. They were most gracious once I decided to check out and were very helpful in obtaining a refund. But they were unable to provide any help before that time. The rate is low because they are offering long term stays […] to people and as a result the customers are a mixed bag. You cannot refuse maid service - according to the desk, they must enter your room every other day under Texas law but that has never happened to me in Texas before. The hotel is older - the room was not bad and mostly clean but the shower was awfully dirty with hair and soil. On the second night of my stay, one neighboring room had a horrible fight - even though the woman sounded dangerously intoxicated, the management would not do anything about it because they said they could not hear the screaming when they went to the room. I did not feel safe. Later that same evening, the occupant of the room adjoining mine on the other side (which had one of those shared suite doors between) began smoking. The smell was awful and as I am allergic to cigarette smoke, forced me to leave. I was not offered another room at the same rate because there were no rooms of the same size. I could move for a higher rate. And they stated they could not do anything about the smoking, at first trying to tell me the other occupant had a smoking room, then simply saying they wouldn't ask him to stop. Read more

Other than the smell of bug spray my second night ( which went away after a few hours ) I though it was a good room for the price. And at least I knew they were concerned with bugs, so I was ok with the spray smell for the short time I smelled it. It wasn't overly strong or sicking and I never saw any bugs either.... I will use this hotel again

The people were very friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean with comfortable bed. Only negative was the breakfast. It was alright but not outstanding.
