"Good value for the price"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Apr 29, 2012
Room perhaps a little dated but clean, good bed, tv etc. bathroom tiny, breakfast with fresh bagels. Good value though...but don't be expecting 5* luxury!
"Friendly, helpful and efficiently run hotel"Reviewed by Peter R of "UK" on Mar 5, 2012
I've just spent 18 days staying in Sedona at the Sedona Real. Normally I rent somewhere but the Sedona file festival meant rentals were hard to come by, so I ended up at the Sedona Real and am very happy I did. This is a very friendly and well run family hotel, that puts the emphasis on the well being of its guests. My room was spacious, clean and very comfortable. Although on the west side of Sedona, everything is within easy reach by car. If I need a hotel in Sedona again this will be my first choice from now on!

"Great views, big room, a little dated"Reviewed by Louise M of "Hertfordshire, UK" on Oct 24, 2011
Small and dated bathroom but great views from top of the ridge looking down on Sedona, Very useful kitchenette so we had lovely (self-supplied) breakfast looking at the sunrise.

Would not go back to that particular Rodeway Inn.
"Decent for the Price you pay"
You get what you pay for and everything was decent. It was an older hotel. Price was extremely good and location was good. The 56" flat screen TV was a little too big for the room.
"good place close to.stuff"
Just check.to make sure you door is locked. our first room didn't lock. I would come.back and I hate hotel rooms
"Great travelling from Santa Fe to California/Vegas"
The best mattress in the world! I love Westin Hotel mattresses, but this is better than their's or mine! Nice folks and good wifi and big screen plasma TV even in the small rooms.

"Rodeway Inn - NAU Conference Center, Flagstaff"
The shower faucet doesn't function 50% of the time. I spend 10 minutes to make it work. The room is dirty and smelly. The wireless internet keeps dropping. The continental breakfast is just bread with butter, small muffin, small donuts, orange juice, apple juice.

"older but adequate"

The room heater did not work about 30% of the time. WiFi reception was only one bar in room. However, the hotel reception people were very nice and friendly and tried to help.
"Noisy, cramped, and poor upkeep"
I would stay away... Noisy, cramped, and poor upkeep. It was clean.. Needs maintenance, looks like first grade class had a field trip to put in trim, mirrors, caulk.. No details and not much water..
"Rodeway Inn - NAU Conference Center, Flagstaff, AZ"
An average hotel. It can be the last resort when you can't find a place.
"Flagstaff Rodeway Inn off of Milton Rd."
Excellent value for money. No frills, no fuss, but clean and comfortable. Heater worked very well. Friendly owner.
"Clean and convient"
It's not a fancy place, so don't go expecting anything extraordinary. But, it was in better shape than I thought it would be, cleaner than I thought it would be, and the lobby had better coffee than I expected. I was only there for a few hours to rest my head before a trip up the mountain to ski, so it fit the purpose well. Not somewhere I would stay […] for more than a night or two or if I planned to entertain guests while I was there. But it's convenient, clean, and the service wasn't appalling. The breakfast is only doughnuts and mini-muffins, but for the price what do you expect? Read more
"Small and clean enough"
Once again, you get what you pay for. If you come here looking for a clean room close to NAU and downtown then you are going to like this place a lot. I would caution that the rooms are very small and was full to the ceiling with a few days clothes and some skiing gear. If you are looking for modern and the comforts of a resort, do yourself a favor […] and go elsewhere. This is a good place to sleep and shower up. If you plan on being outside the room for a lot of your trip, as I was, you will not be disappointed. The girl up front was super friendly. Read more
"small, small, small"
this was the smallest room ever, and the bathroom was even smaller buyer beware!

"Rodeway Inn - NAU Conference Center"
The bed was teh only thing good about the room. The shower did not work right - no hot water, the bathroom had no heat and the breakfast was juice from a bottle and packaged donuts and stuff like that. Should not be allowed to call it a breakfast
"close to everything"
room was small , bathroom was poorly designed... good for one night...
"the other guests were the worst part"
honestly. the drunk guy hanging out two rooms down and the party that went on at 7:30 am - 9 ish in the bathroom next door were something to consider... but for the low rate we got it and it's proximity to downtown being a 10 minute walk, not to mention Granny's Closet for dinner and Mike and Rhonda's The Place for Breakfast (a must!) not for the […] faint...but cheap and cheap Read more
Unfortunately, I mistakenly stayed at a hotel next door and did not realized my mistake until the next morning. However, 4 days later I tried at the last minute to stay at Rodeway, but they were booked completely. The hotel did look very nice and I will try again to stay at Rodeway Inn on my next trip.
"Good rest after a long drive"
No hassles- just what we needed after driving from Texas to Arizona. comfortable beds. wifi and cell signals were good. The staff was very accomodating and friendly. The breakfast was sparse, but adequate for the price. Overall a good stay.

An older hotes with minimum conveniences. A pleasant staff, but does not rate even one star.
"Excellent Service"
We had a 15' Penske truck, and the hotel owners helped us park it in a convenient spot as soon as we arrived. Very friendly. Recently remodeled room with very comfortable bed.
This place is a BUM flop house

"Across the street from NAU but....."
This hotel is not a place I would recommend to anyone who needed more than just a shower and a nap. Ceiling fan was super dirty, walls are paper thin, bathroom fan was extremely loud, coffee pot and coffee supplied are not compatible (pot was a 4 cupper and coffee was a single serving). Bring your own bathroom supplies as only thing they offered was […] a bar of soap. Read more
"Cheap and kind"
The price is so reasonable. Owner(?) is kind.
"Rodeway Inn - NAU - conviniently close to downtown"
The bed was AWESOME very comfortable & spacious, the bedroom was nice the only thing we didn't like was the restroom door didn't close properly. The restroom & shower was pretty. We will return soon.
"Nothing fancy"
This place was an old school motel, and didn't look good from the outside. Both staff members I met went out of their way to be helpful and friendly, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. This place was great for a quick night in Flagstaff, and was conveniently located too. Mini refrigerator was an unexpected bonus. I would stay here agai […] n. Read more

Clean - but toooo small! Broken showerhead and had to ask for more than one washcloth. Breakfast a 4 0n a scale from 1-10.

"low price, but good enough"
This was a very economy hotel, It served it's purpose the one night I needed it in Flagstaff. Pretty good two star hotel.
"Rodeway Inn - not again"
First to say: the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was better than expected. But - the room was a dump: AC so noisy that it couldn't be used during night and the lever was broken, so there was no chance to adjust the fan or anything. Furthermore, two lamps were broken and the power outlets didn't look like touching them. The room was kind of […] dirty also. I would not recommend this place to anybody. Read more
The carper were wet and the room smelled. But they had a friendly and helpful staff. The best thing was the heater worked so well we were almost cooked on our first night. It was clean though

"Pleasant staff, easy to locate, low maintenance"
This hotel has low maintenance including towels were dirty, cofee maker was dirty from previous use. There was used soap bar on the shower and sink area, and the carpet is super stained. Carpets needs to be replaced. Although this is true, it is important to note that the beds are in good condition and you can have a restful night once you close your […] eyes. Read more
"Rodeway Inn-NAU conference center"
Well...you get what you pay for!! This place is a dump!!... Sloping floors, toilets not secured to floor, bathroom linen that should have been thrown away 10 years ago, tiles on floor cracked and popping up, beds that are so trashed you roll to the middle of the bed...fun!! We booked a 2 night stay at this place and only stayed 1 night because it […] was that bad. Thankfully, another hotel in town we have stayed at before had a vacancy, now to try and get some money back from this! Read more
"Close to Downtown"
My husband and I went for a weekend trip without the kids. We were very comfortable. The sheets and bathroom were clean. It was nice to have hot coffee in the morning. It was close enough to walk to downtown Flagstaff.
"Not terrible, but not all that good."
Staff was friendly, but not especially pro-active. Room was clean, but there was only one bath towel in the room. No glasses. The bed was fairly comfortable, but the bedding was put on with the sheet on top of the comforter. Probably won't stay there again, but it wasn't terrible.
awesome for the price, frige, micro, nice comfy bed
"Courteous staff, dingy surroundings"
We stayed here for a one-night layover on a family trip to the Grand Canyon. The hotel offered three queen-size beds in a suite configuration. The price was low for accommodations for six people. The staff was friendly and courteous. They bent over backward to make sure our needs for additional towels and other items were met. The checkout clerk in […] the morning was especially friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable for sleeping. One of the supposed queen beds was actually a full-size. The rooms are very small. The thermostats and heaters worked very well (important in Flagstaff in March). The bathroom was very spacious, and the shower surround was very nicely done. The shower was hot, and the ventilation in the bathroom was good. It is obvious that the management is trying to improve the look and feel of the facility. The room was recently painted and done in a nice, simple decor. Unfortunately, the property does show signs of age and wear. Drywall tape seams and corner bead cracks around doors and windows were not repaired before painting. The toilet tank cover had a crack in it. The curtain rod was of the type that curves outward, but it drooped downward, so the shower curtain repeatedly slipped away from the wall and slid toward the center of the rod. For a night of good sleep at a fair price, or for a jumping-off point for area attractions, you won't go wrong staying here. PROS: Super friendly staff WiFi for free Pastry breakfast included Comfortable beds Television with cable Microwave, coffee pot and fridge included Convenient to downtown, NAU, etc. CONS: Dingy look and feel Small rooms Read more

"Close to NAU, great price, comfy bed"
Very friendly staff and they smile! Quick check in and good coffee with liquid creamers not just powder crap. Room and bed was comfortable, great price, parking can be tight so be careful if you have a corner room. Great pet prices too. Some big jerk tried to weasle out of the $15 pet fee and got really nasty with the manager , manager maintained grace/dignity […] the whole time even with door being slammed in his face. This happened in early am, other than that, no noise and room has fridge/microwave, good shower pressure. I will stay again. Read more
"Uhhhhh..."
Door opens and there ya have it...barely enough room to walk between the end of bed and TV, microwave on the friggin' floor, hangers in an unlit area where a chest-level horizontal surface to put (I guess) miscellaneous whatever, that conflicts with the hanger space. The bathroom. Unless you are a 135 pound man or a 120 pound woman, the toilet area […] is like a spam-can, meaning you have just enough room to sit your A _ _ on the toilet and do your business...for me, it was stand-up only. Ya. Phone cord was broken, meaning you had to hold cord in to talk. Heater was a certical wall appliance that probably has been there since day one, and worked intermittently, which being Flagstaff is unacceptable. Shower and TV worked, bed was OK, but used my own sheets and pillow...and recommend the same. Basically, spent one night there and purchased the last 2 nights in another local hotel. Guess I can consider just another 2011 tax write-off. Read more
