The room was tiny - like barely big enough for two people to get past each other. The carpet was a bit icky and there is no A/C and WiFi is for a fee and a huge pain to set up. On the plus side the breakfast was good, though served in a bunker-like basement room

This is a basic, no-frills hotel minutes from the Lamarck-Caulaincourt metro stop on the 12 line. The daytime staff is particularly helpful and cheerful. My most recent room there was bare-bones, but bedding, comforter, and multiple pillows are nice. There's also a new large-screen TV on the wall. On the negative side, some of the normal-size furniture […] is too large for the room, and you have to be agile to maneuver in the minimal space. The rooms facing to the side are quiet. But as I know from previous stays, rooms facing the front get late-night noise from a cafe across the street. I really like the fact that this hotel is located in a lively, non-touristic neighborhood. It's not as tony as streets around Abbesses metro stop and Sacre Coeur, one metro stop to the south, but it 's also a lot less expensive. And there are a couple of good restaurants right down the street. The cafe right outside the hotel is good too if you want a real French breakfast with good coffee. Read more

Comfort Lamarck hotel has a convenient location in Paris in MontMartre, very close to the metro station. The price is not cheap, but reasonable since hotel prices in paris are very expensive. Very small rooms, but again, this is also very common in hotels in Paris. Staff is ok. The lady during the day is helpful and speaks english. The guy during the […] night is useless, and does not speak any english. We had to wait outside at midnight for 20 min at 0C, for this guy to open the door. I guess he is also deaf. I had a good stay at the Comfort Hotel Lamarck Caulaincourt. The room was clean and overlooked a bustling street. The bed was super comfy. Service was friendly. The hotel staff provided help with directions and other miscellany in English. Bit of a broom cupboard vibe but location is great, Montmartre is lovely, late night bar was five doors down and honestly it was fine. Wouldn't bring the girlfriend here but for a business trip, at the price it's hard to beat within walking distance of Gare du Nord.

This hotel is in a great location but unfortunately is lacking in maintenance. The room was extremely small and we were given 2 single beds pushed together. I would recommend this hotel to back packers but not to older couples. The restaurant across the street is also very noisy at night.

Set in a great location. Get out of the Metro Lamarck and go down the stairs to your room. This area is quiet, but you can walk up the hill (Butte) to Basilique du Sacre Coeur where you'll find expensive tourist shops and hotels.. So this place is great for the price.. Room and attached toilet was small but its to be expected for cheap hotels in France. Bed was extremely comfortable. Bakery with cheap and extremely good bread just next door (hotel breakfast is pretty expensive in comparison). Hotel is not too far from the Basilique Sacre Coeur which is a plus. Advisable to shut windows at night as it can be very noisy due to the pubs and African French restaurant across the road. Hotel staff is friendly in the morning but at night you get staff who are only a lot more hospitable if you use French and simple English. Overall, place is reasonably priced but sleep quality is undermined since the windows had to be closed to shut off the noise across the road. If poor ventilation and slightly undermined rest (if you can wake up and open the windows at 3 am) is not an issue, than this place is great. If not, this place is ok or so-so only. Read more

However we did have door to the balcony which was great to have. The hotel staff were extremely pleasant with us, smiley and speak english. My wife & I stayed here for a weekend. It's a basic hotel, but clean & comfortable. The rooms are a bit small, including the bathroom, but adequate. Det var et dejligt hotel. Meget rent og personalet var imødekommende. Kun morgenmaden var æggene dårligt kogt og nogle skåle blev ikke fyldt op. Beliggendeheden var ok, meget lokalt. Og der var mange hyggelige restauranter i nærheden. Sacre Ceaur ligger kun tyve mi. fra hotellet og den nærmeste metro kun10 min. gang.

Small but comfort rooms, more then enough if dont expect to spend your days on the hotel. The hotel were in good shape, had loads of restaurants nearby, close to metro, not much traffic near the hotel. Only negative thin g were the sound of the elevator in combination with quiet thin walls. But great value for the price. I will return.

La chambre a été rénovée, mais les fenêtres ne sont pas aux normes et laissent passés le vent. La rue est très bruyante la nuit, vive les bouchons d'oreille. Petit déjeuner très sympa.
