Great hotel. The only complaint would be getting there with public transportation. It took a bit of investigation. We ended up taking the metro to Las americas and then catching a bus to the hotel. Wished their customer service was better. We were walking around the hotel and one of the staff was rude to us like if they didn't want anyone just walking around. If your heading to the hotel early they have airport shuttle comes around every half-hour to hour. They also have taxi's waiting which was very convenient.

We liked touring Madrid on a budget! And this hotel was super nice but a ways from downtown-40 minutes from downtown if you take the bus and metro. Cross the bridge and take the bus to Avenida de Las Americas and hop on the red line to Banca de Espana. This takes you close to the Museo Del Prado. This hotel is NOT in the middle of the city center. It is very near the airport, which is quite a ways out from the main part of the city. Regardless, we had a wonderful time! For an amazing price, we were able to stay at a 4-star hotel in a quiet area. With the money we would have spent on a two- or three-star hotel downtown, we took the city bus to […] Avenida de America (2 E per person each way). From there, you can walk around in the city, get on the Metro to go to popular tourist destinations, or grab something to eat. One would expect that an hotel positioned as a Conference Venue would be focused into the business traveller. Well, this is far from truth. Although the rooms were ok in size, however basic, the restaurant, the bar and the general facilities is far from even the most basic business hotel. I am really not sure of what they are. To Madrid you take the bus across the street, every few minutes. 20 minutes to Avenida America bus station, then metro. Good choice if you are leaving early from the airport, or you want less expensive 4 star with many services outside of town with good connections. The hotel was sufficient enough for it's purpose which was to get to the airport quickly. There is a shuttle bus that is supposed to run on the half hour although the bus was late and we waited and waited for it to arrive. We arrived late at night to the hotel and were very hungry. The staff was not courteous. The beds were BEYOND hard. There was nothing positive about this hotel. YOu can stay at a better hotel downtown for the same money. Don't even try to use this as a connecting overnight stay hotel - not worth it. The 13 EUR sandwiches adn 20 EUR breakfast prices are ridiculous.

Totally impersonal hotel in the middle of nowhere! Huge and cold, to say the least. If you want to go downtown Madrid the cheap way, you need to catch a bus and then the metro! It takes forever! Extremely convenient if one is flying through Madrid as it is close to the airport and it has an efficient shuttle service. Extremely delayed airport shuttle service. We waited almost two hours at the airport for the hotel shuttle and again on departing the hotel to return to airport. Hotel Auditorium Madrid was the worst hotel experience I had. When I booked online, I booked a room -- with breakfast included. When I checked in, I was told the breakfast was not included. I showed the staff the email confirmation I had which spelt this out explicitly. He said, I had to make another special request if I were to get the breakfast. I […] said I thought this was a dishonest measure to attract customers online but not delivering as promised. The other main question was, I chose this hotel because it was right next to the airport and I had an early flight to catch. I checked with the counter if I should sign up for the airport free shuttle bus the next morning, and I was told there was no need, as there would not be many people. The next morning, it turned out that many people could not get on the shuttle bus, and when we took a taxi parked in the hotel compound, the taxi driver went on a long detour which took 20 minutes, and charged me a huge amount, whereas the airport is just less than 1 km away, right opposite the hotel. I suspect the hotel is fully aware of such cheats. This was a most unpleasant experience I had with any hotel in any city. Also, the staff were not responsive to questions. Read more

Although there were several aspects of this hotel that were acceptable to fine, our two stays were not acceptable overall. There was billing confusion between the hotel and Expedia on both stays and required a long call with Expedia at the conclusion of the trip to reconcile correctly.
