Bastion Hotel Deluxe Amsterdam Centrum- Noord - Amsterdam 52.39593, 4.92855

This hotel is a good building, and the up keeping of the rooms was great. The majority of the staff were pleasant enough, however one member in particular was very rude and most unhelpful. Upon arrival we asked for a secure location to put are bags as it wasnt time to check in yet and we were told we could use the smoking area inside in a very cheeky and abrupt manner. I would recommend this hotel if you like walking or trying all different types of transport as it is quite a distance even from central station. Over all if your goin in a small group and your keeping to yourselfs its not a bad spot!!

A friend and I decided to visit Amsterdam for the weekend. We wanted something close to the centre of town but didnt want to blow the budget on accomodation. We also didnt want to stay in a hostel or a slummy place. I often stay in the Bastion in Holland and the minute I found this hotel I knew it would be perfect. The room was clean as expected and the breakfast was 100% the same as in Holland which just suited us fine. The buffet was very good and we pretty much ate all we can in the mornings. The safe wasnt working in our room and the staff werent exactly jumping to help, but other than that it was absolutely brilliant. I can recommend the Hotel to everyone wanting to see Amsterdam, stay in comfort and not travel far everyday.

My friend a I stopped in this hotel only for one night on are way from UK to poland. We got there early but without a problem there was a room waiting for us. Free parking and police station across the road - two things we were looking for perfeclty provided. 10 - 15 minute walk to main canal (no need to take u bus) and free ferry across. I would hihgly recommend this hotel for anyone going to amsterdam for either bussines or leisure reasons

The Bastion is not quite in the thick of things, but it is served by a bus that runs most of the night. Our room overlooked the police station and Salvation Army basketball court, and that sort of gives the picture of the hotel in general. But wait--that doesn't mean it's bad! The Bastion was clean and the city bus ran often (about 15 minutes to the train station and Central District). It's worth considering..for the right trip. Romantic getaway? No. Visit to Amsterdam just for fun? Sure... I didn't appreciate being told we needed to pay a city tax on checkin--it was about $10. (Seems to violate the Hotels.com pre-paid plan, but...there were no other surprises.) The breakfast was included and was average. For a trip to explore Amsterdam where you don't mind a little bus ride and you don't mind staying in a place that looks like a Motel 6--this is for you. It was clean, quiet, and convenient.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is good value for its situation. Easy access by bus to Centraal Station & all the sights. Not much choice for food in the immediate vicinity but you are so handy for the centre, most people would choose to eat in the main part of the city. Hotel parking was readily available and a police station near by so we felt safe to leave the car day & night. No good for honeymooners, though, as all rooms are twin-bedded!

This hotel is a step up from a hostal, but nicer than a lot of the hotels we saw in town. The mass transit is really easy to use in Amsterdam and much cheaper than taxis. If we were looking for a romantic vacation, this hotel wouldn't have been a good fit. For a couple of mid-twenty year-old gals, this hotel provided a safe, clean, and affordable place to crash after taking in the sites of town. I would stay here again for sure!!

This hotel was a mixed bag. Pluses: The price was reasonable for a three star hotel; the location is not bad. Although its is not withing walking distance, it is a 12 minute bus ride from the Central Station on routes 32 and 33 (every 15 minutes between 6am and 12:00 am) or on the Night route (every hour from 12:00am to 6:00 am). The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful. We found the room modest (compared to similarly priced hotels in Munich and Prague) but comfortable. Minibar, coffee (no coffee maker, just pour hot water from the tap and add the coffee). There is a restaurant in the premises but we did not use it. Neutral features: It had twin beds instead of a queen; very limited toiletries one small soap bar and two envelopes containing a single shampoo application; only one bath size towel in the bathroom (later we discovered another one in the closet). Still for a three star hotel it seemed reasonable. The main minus point was the room cleaning service. On two out of four days, the waste basket was not emptied and no coffee was left. One day they left no soap or shampoo (I had to request it at the front desk) and the sink was not clean that same day. In sum, I would probably look for similarly priced hotels before booking this one again, but I wouldn't mind staying here either

Het hotel en de service zijn prima, maar het raam van de kamer kan maar ten dele open terwijl er ook geen airco is; temperatuur in de kamer was daardoor te hoog. In andere woorden een prima hotel zolang het buiten koel is

chambre très comfortable ,quartier calme (seul défaut quand il fait chaud il est difficile de rafraichir la chambre une seule petite fenetre peut s'ouvrir) ,attention petit déjeuner non compris et assez cher ,pas de wifi mais une borne gratuite

Hotel Calme, confortable. A moins de 10 minutes de la "Central Station" d'Amsterdam. (Ligne 32 ou 33) ; La voiture peut rester sur le parking, même pour le lendemain .... Zone calme : La "Politie" est à 30 mètres !!!

Helt greit hotell med god service. Lite/ingen trafikkstøy, dette var noe av grunne til at vi valgte det. Det var litt lengre fra sentrum enn vi hadde ventet, og vi stusser litt på avstanden som var angitt i beskrivelsen: 2,1 km. Vi reiste åtte holdelpasser med buss for å komme dit, og ut fra det var det atskillig lengre. avstanden dere oppgir er kanskje i luftlinje? Det er en litt kunstig måte, for å si det mildt. Men bussen gikk ofte, så det var ikke noe egentlig problem. En uventet bonus var en flott japansk restaurant (Osaka) rett rundt hjørnet. Verdt et besøk!

Hotel pas a coté du centre mais accès en bus en meme pas 10 mns en sachant que les transport a Amsterdam c'est 24/24 et 7/7; à proximité pas grand chose mais resto japonais assez bon.J'y retournerai et le recommanderai

l'accueil est sympa, vous etes accueilli par du personnel serviable et jeune. L'hôtel est situé dans un coin tranquille de Amsterdam à 5min de central station en bus(4.50 eur le ticket, un le matin et un le soir).On a pris une chambre de 2 mon amoureuse et moi, avec lit séparés(ça coute moins cher), mais on peut coller les lits sans pb!la chambre est sympa, propre et y a pas de bruit(je précise qu'on était environ 7 chambres occupés sur une cinquantaine au total dans l'hotel). On a pas pris le petit dej, un peu cher(12 eur par personne), mais le café est gratuit dans la chambre. A oui, y a un minibar dans la chambre mais c payant en fonction de ce que vous prenez. C un bon rapport qualité prix. bon c pas en centre ville, mais on a choisi cet hôtel car le parking est gratuit(attention aux hotels qui facture le parking). Bref c un plan sur!

Situation à l'écart du centre ville mais très bien desservi par les nombreux bus à côté de l'hôtel (y compris la nuit) qui mènent en quelques minutes à la gare centrale. Cela permet de laisser sa voiture sur le parking gratuit ce qui est très appréciable vu la difficulté de se garer en centre ville et son coût. Hôtel à proximité directe de la sortie du périphérique, très facile à trouver. Personnel accueillant, toujours disposé à répondre aux questions, réception 24/24. Salle de restauration et bar sur place Café et thé gratuits dans les chambres Chambres très bien insonorisées, sobres mais agréables L'idéal endroit où poser ses valises pour visiter Amsterdam

bonne accueil de l hotel,on est arrivé midi a l hotel pas de probleme on ou a donner les clée, plutot sympas quant on c est tapé six heures de route, chambre correct et propre mais lit separés pas cool sa,accept a internet et wifi,on a pris des chocolat chaud le soir au bar la serveur nous les a offerts sympas un conseil , prener le ptit dejeuné un peut chere douze euros mais a volonté et beaucoup de choix,

Hotellet låg lite långt från Centrum. Inga eller få restauranger runt hotellet. Mycket bra frukost. Bra bussförbindelser en liten bit från hotellet.

Har du inga problem att bo en kort bit utanför stan (med mycket bra bussförbindelser!) och vill bo bekvämt är detta perfekt! Ett deluxe-rum var för engångs skull i hotell-sammanhang väldigt deluxe för ett så billigt pris. Finns allt man kan tänka sig behöva!

Das Hotel war echt prima, saubere Zimmer, reichhaltiges Frühstück, nettes Servicepersonal. Wir waren eine Nacht in dem Hotel und rundum zufrieden.

Rien à reprocher à cet hôtel : un bus qui relie en 10 mins à la gare et au centre ville, une connexion WiFi gratuite, des lits très confortables, un service de qualité. Il y a aussi des bus de nuit pour les rentrées après 0h15

proche du centre ville (qq min en bus qui circulent regulierement et toute la nuit), endroit calme. jsute a notre arrivée on a du attendre 1h20 avant de pouvoir accéder à notre chambre (apres 4h10 de train ,pas terrible!!)sinon, excellent petit dej buffet.

L'hôtel est difficilement accessible, sauf en voiture ou en bus (10 km à pied de la gare), il n'y a absolument rien autour de cet hôtel (uniquement une route, et un restaurant japonais). Bon endroit pour dormir, mais venez en voiture. De plus, ils facturent sur place 5 Euros par personne et par jour de taxe touristique. Les prix réels sont donc plus élevés qu'annoncés.

Nicely situated outside the bustle and noise of the city centre. Several busses stop right outside the hotel, making it easy to reach the city centre.

Ingenting å utsette på hotellet, servicen var ypperlig og resepsjonistene alltid tilgjengelige og behjelpelige.. Rent og hyggelig, 5stjerners opphold til 3stjerners pris :)

Bon accueil et bons patits déjeuners. Calme. Chambres fonctionnelles, sobres et d'atmosphere un peu froide. Cet hôtel est pratique, bien tenu, de construction récente, mais sans cachet, banal. Une base pratique pour visiter Amsterdam et les jolies villages du Nord (Edam, ...). N'y allez pas si votre intention est de faire du coocooning en amoureux .

Malgré l'accueil, le service et une propreté de la chambre irréprochable, le tarif est un peu élevé pour un hotel situé en dehors des limites immédiates de la ville. Pour qui vient à Amsterdam en week end, et ne compte qu'y dormir, il demeure un alternative intéressante à condition de ne pas y prendre le petit déjeuner à 12,50 euros...Il est conseillé de se rendre en bus en ville et de laisser son véhicule sur le parking gratuit de l'hotel.

Bon hôtel en général Chambre propre (même s'ils ont oublié de nous faire la chambre un matin.....) Télévision un peu petite et douche (on aurait préféré un bain). A coté de cela, très bon petit déjeuner et repas. Patronne un peu "séche" tout de même mais son assistante est remarquable (jolie, souriante, serviable, et elle fait même des efforts pour parler Français).

Gepflegtes modernes Hotel, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück, gute Verkehrsanbindung (Bus>Centrum), freundliches Personal.

hôtel bien situé, à 15 mn en voiture du centre ville, accueil agréable, hôtel très propre, bon confort et nous avons apprécié la facilité pour garer le véhicule sur le parking.

Nous vous conseillons sans hésiter cet hotel sympa pas trop cher avec parking et idéalement situé. A 10 minutes de la gare centrale en bus. Des bus réguliers jusque tard dans la nuit et des bus de nuit. Les chambres sont très propres et calmes.

très bon hotel lequel est bien tenue je regrette toute fois la litterie trop mole qui vous donne mal au dos.

Hotel und Zimmer gut . Ruhige Lage . Personal freundlich und sachlich. Preis - Leistung sehr gut. Kostenloser Parkplatz. Ganz super: Bushalte um die Ecke,in ein paar Minuten in der Central-Station(City), Busse fahren alle 5-10 Min.

Très bon hotel, à un prix abordable pour Amsterdam, même si il est loin du centre ville et des principales curiosités d'Amsterdam, un arret de bus est situé juste devant et permet donc d'y laisser sa voiture et de tout faire en bus, l'idéal pour visiter Amsterdam. Le centre en transport en commun est à environ 15 minutes. Seul point négatif les petits déjeuner son en supplement.

Bei Nacht konnten wir ungstört schlafen. Vor dem Hotel ist die Bushaltestelle. In wenigen Minuten waren wir in der Stadt!
