    We booked a room at the last minute and were very pleased. We had 2 queen beds and a sleeper for 3 adults and there was plenty of room for all. It was not real modern but it was clean and the staff was great. It's a few blocks off the freeway so it's convenient but not so close that you hear trucks all night. There are complimentary cookies 24/7 and […] the breakfast buffet is great. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, cereal, etc. they even provide quick dinners on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.     As hotel is within the Holiday Inn standards, but breakfast was disappointing. Last summer we were traveling through Oregon and Washington states even Canada and we were looking for Holiday Inn Hotels all the time because they usually have a restaurant where your breakfast was fresh, homemade and delicious most of times

    We were looking to break up the 12 hour drive and this was exacly half way. Convenient to the freeway, comfortable, inexpensive, and next to a large retail outlet center. On the way back we stayed at the Hampton Court next door - just as nice.

    We had a non-smoking room on one of the upper floors, but we had to walk through a smoky hallway to get to that non-smoking room. It smelled like a casino. If that's not a problem for you, then this hotel is fine. They had a nice outdoor pool area and the staff was friendly.     Why stay in Barstow at all? Well, we made the decsion for 3 reasons. 1. We were travelling from Vegas to San Fransico and we needed to stop somewhere. I don't want to put Barstow down, but it is essentially a giant truck stop. 2. We didn't want to pay a fortune, and the hotel was far from expensive. 3. The hotel has a self-service laundry. We were well […] into our US road trip,had used all of our clothes and had baulked at the cost of the in-house laundry service at the Vegas hotel (30 bucks per shirt anyone?). We got all of our laundry done here for about 6 dollars. Staff were lovely.Parking is free. There is a pool and a free breakfast. No bar or restaurant, but we decided to go out to one of the "Man vs Food" location in Barstow: the Idle Spurs Steakhouse, which was well worthwhile. Read more

    Could not have chosen a better hotel for our 1 night stopover between LA and Las Vegas. The hotel was ideally situated just off the freeway and just steps away from the Tangier Outlet Mall. There were also a number of restaurants within waking distance. The rooms were large and comfortable with the added bonus of a fridge and microwave and also free […] wifi. We took advantage of the pool area for our a early morning dip and it was great with comfortable beds and the pool was very clean, and then went for the free cooked breakfast.     Das Hotel liegt mitten in der Wüste, direkt neben einer sehr guten Outlet- Mall. Drumherum gibt es, außer ein paar Fastfoodketten nichts. Das Hotel selbst ist sehr zu empfehlen. Sehr gut ausgestattete Zimmer, freundliches Personal, compli-cookies und Getränke den ganzen Tag. Pool und Fitnessmöglichkeiten sind super.

    Cet hôtel est idéal pour un court séjour (arrêt dans le désert). Il n'y a ni resto, ni bar à l'hôtel. La piscine est bien. Le paysage environnant est très beau si l'on aime observer le désert. Le petit déjeuner continental est bien. Les lits sont confortables. Il y a un outlet accessible à 5 minutes de marche.

    どうしてもバーストーにしゅくはくしなければならなかったので、こちらに決めましたが。うーーーん。まず、スイートでお願いしたのですが、少し広いツインでしかなく。ホテルの方が勘違いしたのかと思って、尋ねると確かにスイートだという。でも写真と全然違うんですけれど。どの写真がどの部屋だと入っていないですけれど、ここまで裏切られると笑ってしまいます。ホテル自体も古いですし、周りに飲食店がほとんどなく、とてもくろうしました。もしバーストー二宿泊ということに次になりそうになったら、何としてでも阻止します。
