Room was old and had a damp smell. Office didnt open until 7am, too late for travelers wanting to sample the free continental breakfast. Overall poor value for the location, room condition and hotel amenities

I was very disappointed. Our room was small and old. Just outside of our room stood an ash can filled with cigarette butts. The view out our window was a wall not more than 3 ft away. Our toilet clogged at, just after 10pm. I called the front desk and told the woman that answered, our toilet was plugged. Her reply "uh huh," no kidding that is what she […] said. I asked for someone to unplug the toilet. She said I could come get a plunger from the office. Besides the smell of cigarettes, the wall view, the plugged toilet, and the remarkable lack of service and basic kindness, my fiancé left her iPhone, pillow and a ring in the room. When she returned for it, she was given her phone and ring, not her phone. It was less than 15 minutes and the room was locked. We will not return to this motel. And would not recommend it to people we care about. Read more

Definitely will not stay there again. My experience: 1. When I folded over the coverlet on the bed it was generally dirty and also stained with obvious body fluids, including one appearing to be blood that had been sponged out. I put it on the floor and had the maid remove it from the room. The sheets and pillow cases were freshly laundered. 2. The […] Inn is located right on a one-way arterial that has very audible traffic running all night long. It is also in a sketchy part of downtown. 3. The Inn is also designated as a non-smoking facility with a hefty penalty if you smoke in the room. However, that doesn't appear to apply to guests who sit on chairs in front of their room doors and smoke. All the room doors and windows face a small common courtyard and parking area. Hence, non-smoking guests may have to leave their windows closed. 4. As for the complimentary local newspapers, I never saw one over the course of 4 days -- either at the check-in office or at the doors of any of the occupied rooms. When I inquired, the receptionist just shrugged her shoulders and looked mystified. Her reply was that someone probably already took IT (which seemed to imply just 1 copy available). Read more

It was OK. Breakfast very limited. Price OK for area. Our unit was quiet but other guests complained about units close to busy street. Mattresses comfortable but bed frame had sharp projections at ankle level. I reported this to manager. Staff seemed very helpful and friendly.

We had a need for a place to stay overnight between trains, so wanted someplace walking distance from the Amtrak Station. The Courtesy Inn was about 4 blocks away and affordable. The Inn was clean and comfortable, no fancy extras we didn't need, and the staff was helpful in recommending restaurants nearby. We would stay there again.

The stay was relatively good, with the only downside being the breakfast. I would never advertise a free breakfast if it consisted of pastries sealed in plastic, baggies of oatmeal, and bagels. But maybe I've been spoiled by bigger hotels. Certainly wasn't cheaper though.

I had seen mixed reviews but my usual motels closer to U of O campus were all booked (new student move-in/football weekend) so was slightly hesitant but rates were quite reasonable and it is close to a favorite restaurant of mine. Was pleasantly surprised as room had all the amenities including microwave and fridge, ironing board and iron, free wifi, […] etc. The location is on the commercial side of downtown two blocks from county jail, but also only two blocks from performing arts center and major hotel, three blocks to train station. Not too bad. A little expensive for an outdated, not too clean room. A longer walk than we wanted from Autzen Stadium. Not sure if I want to stay there again. Sometimes it's hard to find a room on game days... So, maybe we would stay again.

This is not a two star hotel - two locks on the front door were broken - the bathroom's mirror was so high, I could only see the top of my head - there was fungus in the shower - the bathroom floor tiles were dirty - there was one cracked outlet for the hair dryer and it was across the sink - the shelf above the sink to hold tooth brush or comb sagged […] - the blankets on the beds smelled musty - we were very disappointed in our accommodations. Older hotel that serves the need for affordability and close to restaurants within walking distance downtown. One light was not working and the old wood paneling plus antiquated wall heater in bathroom should probably be upgraded. Otherwise clean and reasonable. Smelled a little musty.

No mirrors except one in bath that if you are not tall enough you cannot look in. Rediculous. get a $10 full lenght mirror and some double sided tape. Sheets and blankets worn, But the owners are very nice.

The management was very nice. The room had everything we needed for an overnite stay. It was clean and convenient. We liked the fact that we could park right in front of our room...not having to tote everything up or down stairs or in an elevator. Would stay there again.

Everything was great except for having higher expectations of their (6' X 4') lobby/standing area where they provided "continental breakfast" consisting of fresh fruit, Instant oatmeal, assorted danishes, as well as an orange juice dispenser that causes the apple juice to taste like orange juice. However, the coffee was fresh.

Pretty old and very uncomfortable with saggy beds, old bedding and bad service. They offer breakfast that does not exist with office closed when supposed to be open. 2 star rating which must be 30 years old!

The hotel offered just a place to sleep but does has some aging problems. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable But again to offer a microwave, refrigerator,and coffee maker then cram them into a corner sacked on top of each other is a poor effort to join the 21st century with a 1970's motel.

Its a cheap motel ... Except not really that cheap. On the positive, it was clean and safe, person at front desk was very nice. Opportunities: Rooms could certainly do with work. Breakfast was pitiful even for what I expected. Would look for somewhere else if I need a place to stay in Eugene again.

Older motel, bathroom had no heat, floor in bathroom and bedroom was very cold even after room warmed. Bed was also so cold and hard to warm up we had to heat water bottles and put them in the bed. Calking in bathroom looked like it was done by blind man. Heater cycled every 3 minutes all night long.

I was able to walk to dinner. The room was very quiet. Its an older hotel but the management kept it very clean and was very responsive when I had an issue with the door lock. Problem fixed and I decided to stay an extra night.

Booked 2 rooms at the same time. Buy not close together. initially had 1 room in the center and one down a short dark hallway. Both rooms very cold when we got there. They we're good about changing the room. Contour.d.talk breakfast was scheduled for 7:00 am but when I went there about 7. :30 office was closed. Donot recommend for handicapped.

Nothing fancy here, just a nice clean room for a reasonable price. Walk to the Hult Center or 5th St. Market. Decent coffee and continental breakfast also!
