LOVED IT AND LOVED THE AVAILABILITY OF THE BAR AT NIGHT. NO DRINKING AND DRIVING SO AT 11PM THIS WAS WONDERFUL TO MEET AND TALK WITH OUR FRIENDS!!!

Its not a 4 star hotel. But, it's clean convenient and for the rate I paid for a mid-week stay, I couldn't be more happy. A Saturday or Sunday stay and the rate is almost twice as much, so I did a Tuesday thru Thursday (3 nights) for which was a real bargain.
Location.
Situated in Palm Desert, Desert Breezes Resort is conveniently near the airport and area attractions include Desert Willow Golf Resort, Living Desert Zoo & Gardens, and El Dorado Polo Club. Additional area attractions include Empire Polo Club, Palm Springs.
Hotel Features.
Desert Breezes Resort has 3 outdoor swimming pools, a spa tub, and a fitness facility. There is a business center on site. The staff can arrange business services and computer rentals. Additional amenities include barbecue grills, laundry facilities, and a garden. Guest parking is complimentary. This is a smoke-free property. A total renovation of this property was completed in 2009.
Guestrooms.
Rooms feature balconies with lake, garden, or courtyard views. The 76 air-conditioned guestrooms at Desert Breezes Resort include safes and coffee/tea makers. "Perfect for our needs"
We stayed at Desert Breezes for the Riverside County Square and Round Dance festival in Indio. The room was spacious and comfortable and had a partial kitchen. This allowed us to fix meals in our unit rather than eat at restaurants. Being on a budget and conscious about our diets, this really worked well. There is a Costco a couple of miles away where […] we got bagged salads and just added ham. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was clean and well-stocked with towels and bathrobes. "Outside better than Inside"
The grounds which include tennis court, gym, and pool were nice. Unfortunately, the room was small, bed hard, and bathhroom small. I had to sleep on the roll away because bed was too short and hard. Kitchenette was available bu did not use stove top or fridge. Positives were WIFI and Tennis Courts. Older development. Getting out of complex because of […] long red light was very annoying. "Had a blast at Desert Breezes Resort!!!!"
We lucked out with this hotel!!! Desert Breezes Resort has an awesome King Mini-Suite. Check in was a breeze, quick & fast. Staff was very helpful and cheerful. We wanted privacy for our patio and they put us in the upstairs patio/balcony room (which was very big!). The little kitchen stove, fridge sink combo was great for our little cooking we did. […] The private hot tubs were fun, the 3 pools are located in perfect places for walking & the landscape is beautiful. The location is only 5 minutes from the freeway and within range of all supermarkets, gas stations and whatever you need. The only thing we didn't like was the $300 deposit hold upon check in. Very nice, comfortable, atmosphere relaxing and quiet, room was better than a regular hotel room with the little kitchen, pool nice and literally had our own jacuzzi right near our room, I would recommend it, I like the less hotel feel and more time share feel.
"Desert Breezes Resort in Palm Desert- NOT a resort"
The resort is actually a timeshare with few amenities. We did not realize there is no restaurant or lounge, and the gym is only open a few hours daily.
