"Goof for long term stay only!"
Good for long term stay only! Bed is hard. Kitchenette was full of crumbs and the fridge was dirty. The heating system doesn't have a thermostat so, it is very difficult to adjust. I finally gave up and turned it off, put on extra clothes, socks, and a jacket and went to bed! Not a continental breakfast just small packaged sweet snacks oranges and apples. […] No staff at night (I didn't see any) so, I did not feel secure coming in at 11:00 PM! They checked me out after one night and I had a hard time convincing them I paid for 3 nights they acted like I was trying to pull a scam on them or something. I suddenly remembered I had the conf. # in my smart phone and the guest agent was embarrased. Do your self a favor and stay down the street at the Holiday Inn Express for a little extra per night! "Long term stay"
It is as advertised, designed for stays of a week or more. It has adequate facilities for meal preparation. A few more amenities would be helpful, like paper towels. Daily maid service is available for an extra charge so be prepared to make your own bed unless you stay for a week or more. For my purposes it was adequate. I was there for four nights […] and can make my own bed. The room was reasonably large and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. They will provide towel exchange and additional coffee. For Seattle the price was right. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A few quirks but overall a good base camp."
The person who helped us check in was wonderful, friendly and welcoming. He immediately changed rooms for us when we walked in and discovered the heater was broken. The next morning we found the windows had been open all night. Neither adult in our group was able to close it. When we asked that it be fixed she responded with, "Oh, some of the windows […] stick and they haven't replaced them yet." She did send someone later to close them. We found the next morning they had creeped open again! Above the kitchenette there was a fan constantly going. Quite LOUD! It did keep us from hearing any neighbors, and hopefully drowned out our kid noises. "Grab n Go" breakfast was just that. Coffee pots were empty by 8:00. Three kinds of granola bars that ran out about the same time. Hot water for tea, oatmeal or hot chocolate. A couple apples and oranges. When asking about the blueberry muffins..."Oh, we're all out. They don't come until next week." One person at desk in a.m. that was suppose to answer phones, help people check out and make sure the coffee was supplied and area stocked and clean. We requested a non smoking room. When you exit elevator you get a blast of cigarette odor. All the rooms on our wing appeard to be non smoking. Grocery store a block away. Bring your own breakfast if you want more than coffee. Earplugs for the fan and an extra blanket if your window creeps open in the night. Great place for a base when acting like tourists. Close to buses. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"its good if you want to be able to cook food"
Um it was nice but there were other hotel tenants who were letting their kids run wild through the halls at random hours to play instead of taking them outside. There's a convenient shopping center across the street but I would have preferred to have been a little closer to seattle. It's about a 45 minute bus ride to Seattle but if you don't purchase […] your ticket or orca card before arriving it leaves you a bit screwed but that's not the hotels fault its just the location is a bit difficult if you're not from Seattle. my favorite thing was that I was able to cook food and not forced to eat the fast food that was surrounding the hotel, I shopped at Albertsons and would come in to eat. I wished house keeping visited at least once during my stay, it felt more like my apartment that visiting but that's just my personal opinion. I didn't leave a huge mess so it would have been nice to know someone stopped by to bring in new towels etc. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Nice place but hard beds"
There was no one at the front desk at check in so after about 10 minutes of waiting I called the hotels phone number and got someone that way. At check out there was no one there either so just left the keys on the counter. Facility was clean and well kept up, room was nice but the bed was very hard and felt like there was a piece of plywood under the […] mattress. Other than the bed it was a nice place to stay. This was the perfect spot to stay near Seattle. It was convenient to access roads and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room was very nice ,it had a full kitchen . Was very happy with the overall appearance , I was a little sceptical at first because of how cheap the rooms are , but I was blown away with how nice and clean they are , the hotel and room themselvs are very nice .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean, comfortable place to stay."
Very clean and perfect for a stay that doesn't require a lot of extras. Great WiFi reception with free basic speed and upgrades to higher speed if desired. We were impressed by the shower pressure compared to other more expensive choices in the area.Genuine Expedia guest review
"some good, some bad"
The hotel itself is clean and fairly new. The area is an odd place for a hotel, across the street from big box type stores (the back side of them so defintely not at all pretty). We wanted something close to the Northgate area, which it was, but arrived in the night the area seemed a little unsafe. Our room was on the ground floor (they were sold out […] or I would have asked for another one), the windows opened onto the parking lot and were open, I could NOT get them closed so I had to ask the front desk person to come and close them. I was not going to stay there if they couldn't close them as I am a woman travelling with a child. Luckily she got them latched on one side each which was good enough. After that I felt fine about it. Wouldn't really call it a "breakfast" but they did have limited items (prepackaged muffins, granola bars, apples, oranges) to grab in the morning and coffee. No juice or anything for kids to drink. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not bad for the money"
I thought the hotel was clean and quiet.Good for the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was very hard to find, especially in the dark! However, once I found it, and went inside the staff was exceptional, professional and helpful. Pleasant, quiet, clean--Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very upset with this reservation. The reservation was made in March for a nonsmoking room. They said all they had for us was a smoking room. I showed them proof that we had booked nonsmoking through you in March. She insisted all they had was smoking. She offered to check other hotels in the area, they were all either booked or a higher cost. She offered […] to credit us through you for $20 and said I should be sure you credited me back the refund. Please do that. She speculated that they prob gave our nonsmoking room to someone who wanted to stay longer than one night. That policy is unacceptable to me. I'm sure it is to you also. I have a call in to the regional manager but he is out of town til Monday. The hotel was also installing new countertops in some of the rooms, this was very noisy and blocked our hallway. Thus, our stay at this hotel was not favorable and we will not book there again. We are pleased with your service however. Hopefully you can do a follow up with this hotel concerning our treatment. Thank you. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

VERY NICE HOTEL, LOCATION ACCESSIBLE AND FRIENDLY STAFF .Genuine Expedia guest review
Pillows were crappy, bed is firm but that is good for some, bad for others. Room is a bit aged but all the amenities worked just fine. Good deal on the weekend, added some more nights during the week and the price went up but it was still a decent deal for the kitchen. Neighborhood is convenient to cheap grocery stores and such, but I wouldn't go for […] a walk at night out there. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Enjoyed our stay"
We have used this extended stay hotel for three or four years now. Our daughter lives in Seattle and it a great place to stay while visiting. We can bring our dog also which is a plus. . It is in a very quiet location and very close to shopping and and dining. We can walk to stores, and some restaurants too. The grounds are kept very nice, and the rooms […] are clean enough and comfortable. I like the front desk staff, they are always helpful and very nice. we had a problem with getting online with our i pad, and the help line put my husband on hold way too long. He went to the front desk and they called them and made sure they rectified the situation. We will come back. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
""Non-smoking room" wasn't smoke free"
I ended up leaving at 4 am my last night because cigarette smoke was coming through the wall into my room. No receptionist was on duty when I left. When I spoke with her later that morning she said I was in a non-smoking area of the hotel and apologized. My only other complaint is the heating unit in the room was very loud even on the Low setting. I […] don't think I'd stay at this hotel again based on my experience. "Hotel ABD in Seattle Northgate"
As soon as we got off the elevator to our floor, we noticed a strange smell permeating in the hall and even in our room. Location was close to where we needed to be but in a shady looking neighborhood. We are thankful for how quiet it was all night and the check-in lady was very courteous to us! Overall the hotel was okay, but very bare bones and certainly […] not the "home away from home" as it was described in our welcome packet. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Extended Stay America- Seattle, Northgate"
My overall rating is satisfied. The only low rating was morning and daytime staff could be a little my friendly and a little less judgemental. The gentleman working overnights was very friendly and helpful. They need more staff like him.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"You get what you pay for"
The bed was hard; like sleeping on a floor. Old and very small TV with minimal channels. No one at the front desk on the night shift.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was in town for a wedding, location was a bit far from ceremony/reception but price was right. Staff was great. Only bad thing was the phone in the room did not work. Luckily I had my cell.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The overall stay was pleasent, Howeverer the beds were not too comfortable and squeaked. The TV cable selection was poor. The staff was amazing and very helpful. Always very pleasentGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not a hotel"
The whole place had a bad smell, the bed was hard, bedspread ugly polyester, and it felt more like a halfway house than a motel. I can't imagine staying there more than one night. Certainly won't stay there again. Front desk closes completely at 9 PM, vending machines hard to find ... location is behind some stores... just not a very nice place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Seattle Extended Stay America-- good price"
The price was very good for north Seattle. It is close to Interstate 5 for short trips into downtown Seattle or trips to northern Washington. The hotel was nice and clean with the kitchenette, full frig, and comfortable bed. The hotel is located in an industrial area but is is quiet at night. A few blocks away is the main road, Aurora Ave, which has […] several hotels and resturants. Just be wary at night because this street has "problems" like most major cities. "How about sending housekeeping next time"
. I asked for 3 beds. Got 2. . When I asked for mattresses to be sent up, I had to get it myself, instead of housekeeping getting it for me. . When I asked for towels to be changed, I was told to simple collect them from reception on my way back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Poor customer service"
While I appreciated the affordability, it was not enough to make up for the poor customer service my friend and I received upon check-in. We were slightly early and they did not have a room ready (which was understandable); however, when we asked about a restroom we could use we were told that there were not public restrooms available and we could not […] use the restroom available to staff. I am very cognizant about not using services of establishments unless I am a customer -- but I had pre-paid for the room and believe that should classify me as a paying customer. Also, the temperament of the woman working the desk at this time was very off-putting. She was sitting at a computer away from the check-in desk and attempted to provide customer service from her seated and obviously distracted position. When she realized that she would have to address us face-to-face, she was flippant and clearly irritated that she was required to move from her seat. I do not believe that this experience is indicative of the Extended Stay hotels on the whole. But I certainly have enough information to know that they will only be a lodging option of last resort in the future. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hotel in poor condition and unclean"
This hotel was of course a cheap place to stay, but I would not recommend primarily due to the very odd and gross smell, likely due to the kitchenette in the room. The carpet was stained and there was hair and 'gunk' in the bathroom on the floor and corners. It was overall a pretty bad experience, and I did not sleep well due to the combination of noise, […] odor, and dirt. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good room for the price"
The hotel is located far enough from the busy downtown but within driving distance to the mall, the zoo and not too far form other attractions. The kitchenette was very convenient specially with kids who want to eat all day. The room sleeps 4 people but only 2 plates, 2 bowls, 2 glasses, 2 spoons, 2 etc. were provided.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Disappointed would not stay again"
1) Room was not very clean. Carpet was dirty. 2) Heater in the room was very noisy. 3) Hotel staff didn't give us second blanket for the night. I had to switch heater off, so my child can sleep as a result we got cold in the morning. 4) Our neighbors were very noisy, I contacted reception couple times but out of three nights we slept one. 5) I usually […] prefer to take transit, hotel staff was not very helpful. "Slightly above average"
The hotel room was fine but not quite what I expected as was under the impression that the place was recently renovated. The bed was OK. Breakfast was terrible compared to other places we stayed on this trip. The location was better than others we looked at. "BC Day long weekend stay"
Booked a two double room for the family for two nights, Sun-Tues. Checked in later than I normally liked at around 9pm and hotel front desk said that our room wasn't available and that Expedia was in error for letting us book the unavailable room. I think they gave our room away as when I booked, I doubled check their own site for pricing and it said […] that the room was available. I would probably call ahead the next time to make sure the room I booked was available just to make sure. They gave us neighbouring rooms instead, one queen, one king bed, on the first floor at the Expedia booking price. Rooms were great, clean, kitchenette, full fridge, microwave, range with pots/pans, plates and cutlery. Didn't have a hair dryer but front desk gave us one. Grab and go breakfast was ok. Only drank the coffee and tea. Fresh fruit (apples and bananas) was less than stellar. There's an Albertsons down the block if you want to by food. Only used the hotel for sleep. They only clean the rooms once a week so didn't get serviced so no comment there. Drove straight down Aurora to get to downtown sites, maybe around 20-25 minutes during morning rush. I would stay again, but at $120/night Cdn was a tad pricey for what we got. $100/night would have been a perfect stay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
