Less than a mile from the Whistler/Blackcomb ski lifts, ResortQuest Rentals at Marketplace Lodge is located within Whistler Village North in British Columbia, Canada. Whistler's "pedestrian only" Town Plaza, less than a half-mile from the property, features a variety of galleries, restaurants and entertainment venues. Considered by many to be the embodiment of winter sports, Whistler is brimming with numerous activities year-round. The town of Whistler offers a complimentary shuttle service throughout the main village area and to area ski lifts, and connects to public bus lines which service nearby communities such as the Benchlands, Upper Village and Whistler Creek.
Resort Features.
Amenities at the lodge include free parking, a spa tub, laundry facilities, and a video library. Concierge services and safe-deposit boxes are located at the front desk at Stony Creek North Star, where guests must check in, and the helpful staff will assist with tour planning. Snow tubing and snowboarding can also be found nearby.
Guestrooms.
Select one-bedroom suites feature balconies with views of the village or the mountains. For all these individually-decorated units, gas fireplaces and wood furniture add to the rustic ambiance of the units. All suites feature kitchens with two sinks, refrigerators, microwave ovens, dishware, cookware, utensils, dishwashers and ranges. Additional amenities include private bathrooms with showers and hair dryers, dial-up Internet access, cable TVs, DVD players, and VCRs, plus free local calls. Linens and bath towels are provided in all units. Housekeeping is weekly, while additional and more-frequent service is available for a fee. All units are non-smoking.
