This was a great hotel if you are a smoker. Our room smelled like smoke. All the non-smoking rooms were gone and that information was not clear when making the reservation online. They gave me a room freshner which really worked. It gave the room an orange smell. Breakfast was very good and the service was great.

Never stayed at a hotel that acts like they wish you stayed at another hotel Tina at front desk was rude and loud . I had other guest even say this was the worst hotel management they have ever seen. Stay in colonial heights

The hotel was clean but not as contemporary as other Holiday Inns I've visited & there was a big error with my billing. First, the ppl who checked in before me were greeted as 'Preferred Guests' & received their room keys in a small folder that included various pamphlets, including cable channel listings. When I checked in, I was given just 1 key, despite […] my reservation for 2 adults, with no folder or pamphlets (maybe that's only for the 'preferred' guests?). Our room was clean but the TV wasn't a flat screen, the cable quality was poor & there was no channel listing anywhere in the room. Lastly, when I checked my bank account, I had been charged one night's stay even though I had already paid for the room through hotels.com. When I called about the charge, the Rep was very pleasant and courteous & said the extra charge would be reversed. Overall, this hotel is ok but I would only stay at this location if a nicer Holiday Inn wasn't available. Read more

Used this hotel when we had to spend 2 days at the local dirt bike track. Expected alot less then we got due to the rural area, pleasantly surprised. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great, alot to chose from. Will definately stay again!
