The heat in the original room did not work, but they happily put us in a new room and we were very comfortable. The pool was filthy, but the sauna was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Our room was spacious and clean. Along with the rest of the hotel. Best mattress ever!! Not sure how it was so soft yet firm at the same time. A very convenient location with plenty of great restaurant choices. Only thing I wish was a little better would be the breakfast. It was a little scarce. Also, the hot tub/spa was out of order.

The reason, main reason, I booked this hotel was for the pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Maintenance was working on the hot tub when we got there and said they would be done in an hour. They finished 4 hours later and the water was cold. And did not work! The pool is the size of a postage stamp and the fitness center is pathetic. It is 3 ancient […] machines, only 2 work. The neighborhood is filled with hotels and restaurants. Tons of them. It is very close to the expressway. The breakfast was excellent. Read more

We reserved & paid for our room in advance. When I saw that our room was right next to the elevator, I asked for another one & was given one without hesitation (very happy with that). The room we were given looked fine & was clean & we went about our day (we checked in at 4pm). When we came back, I heard water dripping from the tub & couldn't get it […] to stop. I wrapped towels around it so it wouldn't keep me awake. In the morning was when we noticed that the shower bar was just about pulled out of the wall & the shower curtain was torn in several places. There was no fan in the bathroom, so the mirrors were very foggy (especially with 4 of us showering). It's difficult to get ready (hair, makeup, etc) when you can't see your face! Upon leaving, we stopped in to the continental breakfast. There was NO COFFEE available, & when we told the front desk clerk, all she said was, "Okay, I'll let them know." We couldn't get into Columbus so we flew into Dayton. It made for a pleasant drive in the fall afternoon. Unfortunately we had an early flight out of Dayton after a late game, so we only had 2 hours in the hotel, but what we found was nice. I have stayed in this hotel twice and will stay again within the next 6 months. The only thing I don't like is the TV cable. Very few good stations. Other than that, everything has been great.

Not a bad night spent there. There were some minor issues like the computer in the lobby was down and the jacuzzi wasn't working but that didn't bother us at all. It was still a comfortable nights stay.

Receptionist was extremely rude and stressed. Room was propped open with a chair when we arrived. Did not get the room type we reserved. Rollaway bed had a smashed bug on the mattress(don't know what type) Was told that they would get us another room and bring a key. After 30', had to got the front desk and get it. (They were not busy - no one was checking […] in) Finally got the room type we reserved, but it was still run down. The pool looked like dirty bath water, so didn't try it. We've stayed at other Country Inns that were very clean with good service, so we were surpised at the uncleanliness and poor service of this hotel. Avoid this one at all costs. Read more

My visit coincided with the Air Show, Little League playoffs and a Reunion of the Decade of a local high school. Every single hotel within a 15 mile radius was booked solid. I watched the front desk handle irate reservation holders, without rooms, in a professional manner. Little Leaguers in the hotel were obnoxious and parents were no where to be seen. […] Again, the staff handled unruly kids with professionalism. My room wasn't cleaned to my standard. It as obvious no one had bothered to vacuum along the beds nor to make sure dirty towels were not hanging on the door in the bathroom. I did not appreciate a young man knocking on doors at 8:30 AM to ask if I wanted fresh towels or the trash removed. There was no maid service in my room at all.
