      We looked for something safe and reasonable in the Hollywood-Burbank area since we were doing something is both towns and were happily surprised with the Portofino. Most of the Hollywood 2 or even 3 star inns and motel reviews had concerns about parking and the surrounding neighborhood but the reviews for this motel seemed very good so we booked it. The parking was very good with most units having parking directly in front of their rooms that were easy to drive into and wide enough to easily get in and out of your vehicle . The neighborhood though a bit busy seemed safe. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

      It was nice and comfortable. We were dissappointed in the pool though. It was a tiny thing in the underground parking garage. Not very inviting.

      Very comfortable stay. Hotel offers great extras, such as complimentary parking and a nice happy hour. The access to the hotel is a bit uncomfortable due to the location of the property and L.A. traffic. Great if you're visiting UCLA or area nearby.

      Lovely hotel. Beautiful views. Hotel is a bit isolated, you have to drive to get anywhere, but things are pretty close. 20 beautiful minutes to beautiful beautiful Malibu. Very friendly.

      Very nice staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable.. The only negative comment I have is that the shower water had to pressure, it took me forever to shower.., but its not bad:)

    My wife and I came here for a quick getaway to Six Flags. 2 min drive with traffic to the parking lot entrance. Breakfast was good biscuits and gravy, eggs, pancakes. Good value and room was very comfortable. Would stay here again without question !

    The hotel was okay. It was pretty standard. The breakfast was slightly above average. It was very, very close to 6 flags, and that was our goal. The hot tub was cold and the pool was warm. That was sad. At the end of a rattling day at 6 flags, a soak would have been nice.

    It was very close to Six Flags, which is why we were staying there. We were very pleased with the hotel, it was clean and nice and the free breakfast was better than most. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Magic Mountain.

    Picked this hotel as it is in the vicinity of family we were visiting, and the pool, included breakfast and two queen beds fit our needs. It did not disappoint. The location was great, the room was clean and spacious (compared to some), and the outdoor pool was warm in February.

    Very, very clean and comfortable. Perfect stop along route 5 between San Diego/LA and northern California. We will use it again if we make the drive. So close to Magic Mountain/Six Flags, super-duper family stop. I do wish they had some more healthy options on the buffet. Fresh cinnamon buns delicious, but some fruit would be lovely.
