"2012 Cacun Trip"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

"Amazing Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Na Balam got some underserved poor scores. The location happened to be the best location on the island (as far as beaches go), and fairly convenient to excitement of down town. The grounds were spectacular, and for such a reasonable price. Front desk and beach bar staff were not amazing, but not bad either. They could do some training on customer service in order to make it a more magical experience, but all in all, it was acceptable service.
"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Wow! What an amazing time we had staying at the Royal Solaris!! We spent our 19th anniversary at this all inclusive resort for 4 days and never even had the slightest urge to go into town or leave the hotel. Friendly staff checked us in. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and there was no waiting. The Time Share lady who offered us a "quick tour" of the hotel but did not get pushy or upset when we told we just wanted to get to our room and then hit the beach. She asked that we come see her, but we never did and we never got bothered with Time Share talk the rest of the time. The multiple pools looked like lots of fun, but hey...we have a pool at home so we spent every waking minute at the beautiful beaches. The "vendors" walking up and down the beach were not pushy at all and after each one made their 1st pass/effort, they didn't bother us the rest of the day. Benjamin and Kike (pronounced kee-kay), were our beach waiters over the weekend and both of them were absolutely tremendous!! We could not have asked for a better experience. The room was clean, it had a comfortable bed, and plenty of water pressure for our showers. Oh...and pay the little extra to get the beach view room...spectacular views of the sunrise and gorgeous blue waters!!

The Cancun Hotel Zone rests on a slit of land bound by a lagoon and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Sunseekers crowd the white-sand beaches. At night, the action moves to the restaurants, clubs, and bars that line Boulevard Kukulcán, the area’s main artery. This road passes by the El Rey ruins, believed to be a king’s tomb.
see all hotels in Cancun"jw breakfast"
very good idea to get the buffet breakfast in your package. i do not recommend the other restaurants at the hotel. the thai place a casa magna service is horrible and food is pre-packaged sub par-- Mikado is marginal at best, and the tempi yaki is great for families but not high quality food. stay away from the deli food in both hotels Jw-and casa magna....we […] got sick from the food.. overall the hotel was awessome...!! "Really a first class operation"
I have stayed in many hotels during my life but this met my expectations in spades. That's especially important because I was spending my own money. From the setting on the beach to the attentiveness of the staff, I couldn't ask for a better experience. We took the time to visit other hotels while we were there. I think you would be hard pressed to […] match the balance between the formal design and the casual feeling of the surroundings. Read more

"Beautiful location and courteous staff!"
My husband and I are neophytes to the Cancun area, this trip we were there on business. Because of our experience at this hotel, we are planning on returning for fun! The hotel staff were all courteous and extremely friendly. The restaurants in the hotel were great, so we didn't even have to leave (an advantage for business travelers - no car rental […] necessary if you catch a shuttle from the airport). Dinner at Gustino, the hotel's Italian restuarant, was an especially good experience. Our free time was spent out at the pool and beach area, which is phenomenal, and gazing out at the Caribbean from our balcony. The rooms are very nice, the king sized beds were quite comfortable and the details were all taken care of (there was even a clock radio where we could hook up our iPods). The bathroom in our room was spacious. Plenty of room for both of us to get ready in the mornings without being in each other's way. And plus, it was beautifully done. All in all, a great hotel, a great destination. Read more

"Excellent hotel for the money we paid"
Good service, excellent room, good restaurants, nice pool area.
"JW Marriott, Cancun"
This is a very nice, if somewhat soulless hotel with great pools and lovely beachfront location. It is very clean and the service is very good. There was little to grumble about but we felt it was a tad expensive for what was on offer. The only negative was its location as you could not walk to anywhere easily having to take a taxi to restaurants or […] shops etc. Read more
"Totally recommended!"
We spent our honey moon at the JW Mariott-Cancun and it was marvelous. The Hotel is beautiful, Food is awesome, Service is very good. We will be back for sure! Thank you JW for the great days we spent over there. ps: Of course it is not the place for people that don't want to open their wallet :)
"Great Hotel!"

"5-Diamond hotel in Cancun!"
If you want 5-star service, then here is the place to stay in Cancun! It is rated 5-Diamond and lives up to it's rating. The service and quality of food is extremely high and always a pleasure. The staff are fully bilingual, and the hotel is close to the ariport and many attractions. It has everything - pool, beach, spa, restaurants, gym and live entertainment […] in the lobby. Definitely a must if you want to feel pampered. Read more

Excelente hoel, un poco caro, pero muy bueno
Hotel sensacional. Café da manhã, localização e quartos excelentes. tem um spa sensacional. As piscinas são aquecidas.
"Localizado na Zona Hoteleira. Fácil acesso a tudo"
Hotel bem conservado, excelente atendimento, piscinas, jacuzi, fantasticos. Excelente hotel
"Banheiro"
