Inn at Steamboat - Steamboat Springs

We loved our stay. Todd and his staff were very friendly and always available. Quick easy shuttle rides to and from Gondola Square were appreciated. Although if you staff in the summer you will find that Gondola Square is a short walk anyways.

I went for a guys trip and stayed for three nights. The accomodations were excellent. The rooms have been recently redone so all the fixtures are new and the beds are super comfortable. The staff at the Inn could not possibly be more accomodating. Every morning the complimentary shuttle took us to the mountain with little or no wait. Every night the […] shuttle took us and picked us up from downtown without a hitch. If you choose to stay out past 10 then you are responsible to get a cab back to the Inn. For us ski bums, it was perfect. In the morning, there is breakfast available including cereals, fruit, hard boiled eggs, waffles, juices and coffee. For the price, it is an absolute steal. This is an awesome place to stay in Steamboat. It gave us a good feel for the town from the first minute we walked in - friendly, nice, laid back, cozy. We will def. be using this hotel on our next visit to Steamboat. It feels like your staying in a friends house or cabin. Beds are super comfy too! AFFORDABLE!

This was a great hotel -- perfect size, felt quaint (not too commercialized). The rooms were clean and large, with a rustic decor. The continental breakfast was really good! The breakfast burritos were hot and tasted great! The Belgian Waffle maker was a hit as well! We are looking forward to our next visit to the Inn at Steamboat!

Very much enjoyed our stay at the Inn at Steamboat. The staff were terrific, the hotel has it's own shuttle to the ski area. And... (this is important to me when deciding about a hotel)... the sheets are like velvet... the shower pressure is perfect! I would definitely stay again.

We rolled in at midnight, but the keys were waiting in the lock box, after the front desk called to check if we were on our way. The beds were FABULOUSLY comfortable. Lots of TV channels, easy WI FI. They suggested the best restaurant in town for dinner. Then when we overslept on the second day, they were generous enough to keep the free breakfast bar […] open for us and give us an extra long check out time. Stay here and you'll definitely be treated right. Todd, the owner, knows exactly how to help people feel well cared about. Very nice hotel. Beds were very comfortable with a pillowtop! Large rooms. Small refrigerator which is nice. A little out of the way... New owners said they are going to landscape to make the outside around the parking lot a little nicer. We would stay here again. : )

The room was clean and the decor appeared to be recently updated. The shower handle fell off, and we had to wait an hour for maintenance to come out and fix it. No one was at the front desk, so we had to call an out of town manager for assistance. Good thing we asked for an extra towel right away. The pool area was nice. Breakfast was simple.

Room was clean and thoughtfully appointed. Pillow top king was great. Staff ( Todd, I think) was friendly and helpful. Location was nice and quiet. The only suggestions would be to have glasses in addition to coffee mugs and detailed written directions for TV/cable operation. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is really comfortable - great linens, great beds - nice hot tub- good breakfast - near to the lifts-nice shuttle -- so many pluses but they don't clean your rooms (so trash build up for a 3 night stay) and the front desk people are a little on auto-pilot. If those two things were modified, it would be an A. As it stands, a B.

We just drove up from Denver to attend a conference the next day. Had a very late arrival - midnight - and the key was just where the staff said it would be, beds were very comfortable, clean room, not the poshest accomodation but very comfortable and in a great location.

While this hotel does have some things going for it like a comfortable bed and nice furniture, the place is dated. The fan in our bathroom, for example, was connected to the light switch and horrendously loud. If my husband used the toilet, we would wake me up each night. We had a nice stay. It was quiet, comfortable. The breakfast wasOK. The only part that was disappointing was I left some personal belongings in the top drawer in the bathroom and know one was able to answer as to the where abouts of them. We called a short time after we left to report them left.

alhtough we were satisfied with the holel, we were not happy with the attitude of the management when accommodating our needs> The rooms are only cleaned every other day and we had to empty our own trash and go down to the laundry to retrieve towels. I was thoroughly pleased w/ my stay at the Inn. I had considered some of the bigger name hotels in Steamboat but really wasn't interested in spending that much per night to sleep. I am so very happy that I saved my money and ended up w/ a room that was probably nicer than any of the large "resort" hotels. What you will find is an A+ room (the beds were fantastic!), free wifi, free continental breakfast, a swimming pool & hot tub, workout room, free parking, etc. The Inn may not look all that impressive from the outside - but you will not be disappointed w/ your room. The bus shuttle stop in the winter is a long walk - on the road and in weather, not good.
