The room was just what we needed. Big enough for two people to live comfortably for a week. The shower and bathroom was big, and the room was clean when we got there. The room was a 15 minute walk from the check in site, but that was okay. Very close to Acland street which had a bunch of shops and restaurants, and across the street from the beach and […] Luna Park. The site had a lovely rooftop deck for hanging out on. Photos that you get to see on the booking site are different than the one you end up staying. Its was ok.. Plus was there is a tram stop right infront of the the place we statyed.

was a great location and right on transportation route. i stayed at the acland property, which did not have everything it said in the listing like hot plate and kitchenette was very poor. the one thing that was very annoying was that internet service was down 3 of the 4 days i was there. and it cost me $25 for 5 hours. note to any americans travelling […] australians do not believe in free wi-fi so be prepared to pay. the shower was a bit grimy and looked and is it had not been cleaned in a while so bring a rag to wipe it down. another low brow thing i saw was the $70 charge for having the "housekeeping" wash your dishes if you leave them dirty when you leave. even one fork means 70 bucks... so just be aware of what you are in for... The location of the property I stayed at 5 Ackland Street St Kilda was fine, the only problem was that the parking for the property was about 400m from the hotel & that was a real pain in the neck with luggage etc. Especially for me travelling on business & needing to get files & laptops etc to my car every day I was there. Not being able to open the […] window was also a little bug bear as I do like fresh air. Other than that the staff were terrific with directions for getting me to where I had to drive to not being use to Melbourne, nothing was too much trouble for them. The cafes & restuarants in the area were also terrific. I would stay there again for pleasure. The room rate was also a great bonus given the location of the hotel. Read more

When U booked this hotel, it stated that it was located at the end of Fitzroy St, in St Kilda which was ideal as I was best man at my mates wedding in St Kilda toward the end of fitzroy st, so when I browsed hotels for my girlfriend and I to stay in, I specifically searched for places close to the venue. However upon arrival at the hotel, I was told […] that that was only the location of the reception and that the place we would be staying in was on Carlisle St - another 1-2km down the road. This may not have been a bad thing if I was from Melbourne, or had access to a car during my visit, but this was not the case so I was forced to buy a myki card in order to get to the venue by tram. When I brought this up, there were no apologies or reasonable explanation for this and we were put in a taxi - for which we had to wait half an hour for - and taken to Carlisle st, another 10 min away from the city. The room itself was as described, but due to the reception not being at the same location, it was not serviced daily, therefore no fresh towels/linen for the whole 4 nights we were there. All in all, I would not choose this company again as you would not have any idea where you might end up, which was important for me at the time, considering I was on a budget. Read more

I spent 2 nights with my sister in Melbourne and really liked the hotel. The studio has plenty of space for 2 people, it even has a bench outside to enjoy the sunshine. I was not happy to find the room was a very different location to where you have to check in. No onsite staff tight parking and the room was tiny. Tv was perched on a cupboard across the room sitcom was noisy as we're the other residents.

It was nice to stay with them as we got an upgrade. The room was modern looking. I recommend you use another hotel as this had 6 separate locations and the hotel we were in looked old on the outside and we had creepy crawlys around the rooms. Also the tv was very old. Had no digital channels and a very plain remote. Was quiet though

Great stay at the serviced apartments in St Kilda, lots of great restaurants and pubs in short walkiing distance. The room was very clean and tidy, and was nice and modern. I did get locked out one night when my swipe card wouldn't work, but the Motel Reception person came over within 10 minutes to let me in which was much appreciated. Only negative […] was the steepness of the driveway as each morning I scraped the bottom of my car on exiting. All in all though, great value for money, thoroughly recommend EasyStay St Kilda. Received disappointing service during check-in however once I arrived at the hotel, it was fine. The only issue I had was that my room faced the street and since it was Ackland St, St Kilda, the noise of the bars across the street were heard till around midnight. The room itself was fine although I believe a studio apartment was supposed to have hot […] plates however there was only a microwave, small bar fridge and small sink. No glasses or wine glasses were provided - only cups for coffee/tea. Please note that they have 5 or 6 locations in St Kilda, none of which are actually on Fitzroy street. Only the EasyStay motel is actually on Fitzroy street. The appartment building we stayed in was located on 65 Acland street which is about a10 min. walk from check-in on Fitzroy street. Do not recommend, unhelpful staff, complicated multiple locations that where not mentioned on the add, as only reception is located at mentioned address , messed up check in- opened someone's room at 1 am check in, got people scared and angry.. While the staff were friendly and helpful, the quality of the apartments are tired; leaking sink, broken soap dispensers, shower door won't close so water on floor at every shower etc. Little touches like more dish washing liquid (rather than the tiniest amount meant to last for 5 days - we didn't expect to have to ask for more of these things regualrly.). […] They did empty the rubbish daily but no clean up of water on floors etc. V budget accomodation but v close to trams, beach and restuarants which was good. We stayed at the Easystay Acland St Units. Great place to stay if you don't mind a bit of noise. This is a very central area next to Luna Park and St Kilda beach not to mention the wonderful shops, cafes, pastry shops etc of Acland St. The units also had a central open stairwell where you could hear the coming of going of other guests as well as the […] smokers on the top floor barbeque area (late at night). Should let you know that they stated on their evacuation plan that the room (705) had a fire blanket and extinguisher, but we couldn't find them....luckily we did not require it!!!

Enjoyed the convenience of location of apartment, disappointed in service provided from day we arrived. Light over kitchen sink not working for entire time although reported on first day and several times after this. Apartment cleaned only once in 7 days, towels replenished only once. Just adequate for one night not longer...the level at which the room was, was too high for someone with two hefty suitcases.Why is there not a lift? The stairs were grotty... they needed a good clean . The room was just clean...no friendly .bits in it I would not book it again

The location was fantastic, after booking in at 2 am we were directed to our apartment 3 mins drive away, secure carparking and a really comfortable bed awaited, woke up to a fantastic shower and walked 2 minutes to the eateries on ackland St for breaky. The room was much bigger than I expected. There was enough kitchen gear to ensure we could organise our own meals rather than having to eat out all the time. Location was excellent with tram stop right outside. For the price it was excellent!
