"Hamton Inn Bowling Green"
Convinient, basically nothing to complain. The staff was nice, some were new on the job, but trying their best, which was appreciated. As an European, the breakfast buffet was not the one we are used to over there, but knowing the neighbourghhood, probably the best in BG. I suppose that was proper American breakfast, and complimentary coffee all day […] long was super (or as long as it lasted). According to my opinion, there are two hotels in BG on the same level, but if you prefer to walk to campus area, this is the one. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

To cut to the chase, if you are a discerning customer, I would choose another property. If proximity to BGSU is what you are looking for, then this is the place for you. We pulled into the Hampton Inn Bowling Green about 10:00 on a Thursday night in the summer. Expecting it to be half empty, we were surprised to find it completely full. Do not be misled by the empty spots across from the open door, a couple rows back. They are for patrons of the local restaurants only. I think there must be exactly the right amount of parking spaces for the number of rooms, because we got the last one in the designated lot. THE GOOD: Check in was easy, staff was friendly. Lobby area, while small, was clean. Fitness center, updated and clean. Breakfast was typical Hampton Inn. Plenty of seating. THE BAD: The room was on the small side. It also had a funky odor. My husband thought maybe it used to be a smoking room and what we were smelling was whatever they used to cover it up. It was most unpleasant. The towels and sheets were oddly soft. I am used to crisp sheets and unsoftened towels at hotels and these were not. They seemed clean, just oddly soft. The carpet felt very dirty, hard to tell by looking, though, because it is a dark color. THE VERDICT: We usually stay at Hampton Properties, because of the consistency across the brand. This one did not seem to live up to some of its counterparts. I would explore other options in the area before staying here again.

Cookies and smiles @ front desk were a welcome sight. Eggs at comp breakfast were fluffy and sausage was yummy. Enjoyed the waffles, choice of juices and beverage available 24 hours in lobby. Free shuttle to airport on the hour. Amenities included mouthwash and extra towels. Wifi in room.

We love Hampton because we can always count on a clean room, comfortable beds and a breakfast before we head out in the morning. This hotel was standard Hampton and met our expectations. The only negative was that the breakfast was not quite as good as we have had in other Hamptons--but still pretty decent.

Great place to stay with your baseball team. The staff was very tolerant of our 11 year old boys. Good location for food choices and some provide discounts with your hotel stay. Only one elevator kind of hinders things especially on busy weeekends. Overall a pretty good place to stay. Staff is very friendly.

Everything was great. The only detractor is no in-room Wi-Fi is available. The lobby is beautiful and Wi-Fi is accessible there and I would much rather be in my room while surfing the net! The location is perfect for anyone visiting Bowling Green State University. The continental breakfast was available early and we found that to be very beneficial. The hotel was full and parking around the hotel is limited with the parking lot of BW3s immediately adjacent. Didn't check if hotel parking was available there without the threat of towing. Could be an option.
"Better than Expected"

When I had looked online before booking our room I wasn't totally pleased with the other reviews. But due to the location it seemed the best option for our hotel accomodations. I WAS PLEASED! The staff, and rooms were better than expected. We had a very clean room and bathroom and the beds slept well. Will use the Bowling Green Hampton agan.

So we stayed here as a stop over while traveling home. The hotel is dated and the room has that just sprayed hotel odor (wish they would get a better product to use ) But the room was clean, which is always important. Wish the window would have opened wider. There is a screen, but you can only open it about 2 inches, so not much fresh air !

The facility and room was very clean and fresh smelling. The bed and pillows were soft and comfortable. Easy access on and off the highway. The check-in process was quick and friendly, and there was much to select from on the breakfast buffet. I would definitely stay again.

It was a nice hotel, but found bugs in the bathroom sink on the last day of our stay. The breakfast was very good and nice to have after a late night. The beds were nice and soft and clean. Wifi was nice to have.

Top notch accommodations at an affordable price. Extremely good staff, courteous and friendly. I intend to choose Hampton for all my traveling needs because of this recent stay. I chose a whirlpool room with a King bed. The whirlpool was spic and span clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
