The beds were very uncomfortable, the room was outdated, linens need to be updated. There was a general musty smell which the air freshener was desperately trying to cover up. The air freshener was overpowering, and now my luggage and all my clothes smell like it.

Very nice motel, staff very friendly, clean, nice pool area, nice (small) breakfast area, continental, no hot waffles, but okay. We were very comfortable, and would stay again. Nice meal just north along the same street, as we were late checking in- the restaurant was open til 9:00

We were travelling in the area in severe heat and were tired and dirty. We were going to stay with friends who did not have air conditioning so decided dto call last minute for a room. Frankly, we didn;t expect much more than a clean bed and simple bathroom. we were shocked. Not only were the staff very nice but our room was wonderful - large and clean […] with comfortable beds and fresh linens that all appeared new. The bathroom was large and spotless. Breakfast was one of the nicer continentals we have had on our many recent travels. We can't say enough good things about this particular Super 8 - we would recomment it to anyone! Read more

The room was more clean than any hotel room I can remember (including 4 star hotels). The pool was large. Breakfast was good. The staff was friendly and knowledgable. I highly recommend the hotel.

The Super 8 Motel in New Hampton is not located on the busiest Iowa highway, but if you enjoy traveling of-the-beaten-path, this a great place to stay.
