Our room was wonderful! It was large and we had plenty of room for two people. Something leaked in our luggage and so we used the hotel laundry service to have some items cleaned. Although the hotel promised same day service if put out by 9 am, a staff member lost our laundry so we did not get it back until late the next day. The hotel did not charge us for this service and gave us vouchers for free drinks in the lobby bar. The hotel manager was very apologetic and helpful, which made the experience not so bad! We would definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel to others!

Excellent hotel. Room was large and very comfortable. Jazz theme was subdued. Close to everything near the French Quarter. Wonderful restaurants nearby. The only negative comment I would make is that parking is over thirty dollars a night and was not included in our room package. Otherwise, I would give it 5 stars.

One of the nicest hotel stays I've had recently. The room was large and comfortable, the restaurant serves great food and the staff was uniformly helpful and friendly. Expect to pay for both parking and internet at rates typical for downtown hotels of this type. Great views of the river and an easy walk to the French Quarter.

The rooms were large and comfortable. I think the bathrooms would be more efficient if they had some storage for your toiletries but everything had to go on the counter of the sink because they had no shelves, drawers or cabinets. Also it woud have been nice if they included breakfast, even a continental breakfast, but they did not. Otherwise, the hotel staff were wonderful and the rooms were beautiful.

My wife had never been to New Orleans so for our second anniversary (Our first was a cruise), we took a train, which she had never taken, from Memphis to New Orleans. The train ride was long but good. The last thing I wanted was for us to have a problem with the accommodations. To my surprise, It went as smooth as it ever has. The room was great, the location was outstanding, the people were fantastic. We were treated almost like royalty, it was as if they expected us and were looking for us. Thanks for all the reviews, they were right on point. Thanks Hotels.com.

My grandson and I were very surprised Lowes was 10 times better than the no name hotel we stayed in while in New York.

The service and staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, they really make it worth the stay. The bar attached to the hotel had amazing food (really, even in New Orleans where good food is abundant.) Get the shrimp corn dogs! The room was nice, very large and clean. The only reason I didn't rate it higher is because the bathroom could use some updating. Anyway, I would definitely recommend staying there. It is a short walk to the quarter and other great neighborhoods that should be explored.

I spent the weekend at Loews and enjoyed it very much. The room was very clean and comfortable and I had a great view of the river. Although it was right across the street from Harrah's, we didn't really venture over there. In terms of convenience to Bourbon Street and the French Quarter, it was a little bit of a walk but not too much. Anytime we had to be somewhere at a certain time, the valet will easily and quickly call a cab for you. Hotel staff was very friendly.

This hotel is just a couple of blocks from the French Quarter, so you get to wallow in all that picturesque decay and old-timeyness, without having to live in it. The hotel has the friendliest and most helpful doormen I've ever seen. I rarely use concierges, but the ones here were readily available and provided useful guidance, particularly regarding rental cars. The pool/spa area was immaculate and well-staffed. The Cafe Adelaide accommodated us when we said we had only 30 minutes to get in and out for breakfast -- service was superfast. Internet access was free in the lobby, which had comfortable space for using a computer; paid access in the room presented no problems. The room itself was pleasant: silky sheets, large bath towels. Minuses: one odd mustard-colored stain on the carpet; I could hear next-door neighbors somewhat, but only when in the bathroom. TV selection includes Comedy Central, so I didn't have to miss Stephen Colbert.

My wife and I and another couple had a great stay at the Loew's New Orleans during the Labor Day Week. The location for us was great, we walked to nearly all downtown areas and when we wanted to go to the Garden District, we hopped a trolley which was two blocks away. The staff assisted us in tours and give us a restaurant tip that was off the tourist radar and was superb. The hotel restaurant and the lobby bar provided great service and fine food and drink. The only disappointment was that the wireless was free only in the lobby.

For the price for this hotel was outstanding. The bed was the best I have slept in while traveling. Great location, only had to walk a couple of blocks in either direction to catch a street car to go to the French quarters or the museum district. The only down was it was a little pricey for internet in the room but free in the lobby which had plenty of tables to set at. The parking is a little high also. I plan to go back soon.

The hotel and it's employees were great, but some of their available services need some work. My nephew found this hotel and said they had free parking, but what they fail to mention is that they only have valet parking, and every time you get your vehicle you are charged. I find that ridiculous when you are already paying to stay in their hotel, especially considering how much they charged for this service. I only used this service four times and paid more than one hundred dollars. I've also never stayed in a hotel where you had to pay for internet service in your room. The only free internet service is in the lobby.
