"Good hotel, great staff, little room for clothes"
My husband and I have stayed in many hotels. This time we went on a skiing trip. The only problem I had with the room was that there was not enough storage. We had a small closet and three drawer night stand. We had no room for our clothes and ski wear (which takes up a lot of room). We just kept everything in our suitcases. The kitchenette was great. […] Very functional and useful, especially when the weather was bad to go outside. The staff was kind and professional. The maintenance worker was SUPERB. He went above and beyond because when we first checked in the coffee pot wasn't working, the fireplace and tv was not working. He did a couple of adjustments and everything was great. The hotel is in a great location. They do have a ski room. If you are new to skiing or boarding, I suggest you stay in a hotel closer to the lifts. You will have to walk about 5-10 minutes to the lifts and it can be slippery. All in all, this hotel was great for what we needed it for. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Whistler is awesome but expensive"
Location of hotel is good but there is no direction on where to load and park. Parking space is too tight. Hotel key does not work to open the garage Remote control for T.V. is not working. DVD,- staff does not know how to operate it. Staff ridiculing customer I.e. I asked if there is Mc Donalds around the area and he said "2 blocks from here" in an […] annoying way.- I did not find any Mc Donalds. Check out time is at 10am- not a good time especially on a new years day. No negotiation on their part- you have to pay if you exceed 1/2 hour past 10am. Maid service is excellent, they were there within minutes of asking for the item On the hotel elevator, it says if one dines at their restaurant( quatrro) You will receive 15 % discount but our server did not deduct it instead a mandatory tip of 18% were applied. "Overall a nice hotel"
I had a nice experience at the Whistler Pinnacle Hotel. The staff where friendly and the room was nice. The pull-out beds are not comfortable, so if you end up having to sleep on one, don't expect a good nights sleep. The beds themselves where nice and firm, and so where comfortable for me. I'd stay here again (and probably will.)Genuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was easy to find. The town is pretty small so just about everything was in walking distance. Underground parking for your vehicle with carts to help carry your luggage upstairs. 2 working elevators. No free breakfast. Breakfast is $16 CAD. 10 minutes walk to the ski lifts of both Blackcomb and Whistler. Free internet and it was fast. Needs […] more trashcans. Housekeeping was very good. We had 3 guys in our group and the 2 queen beds were fine. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"A memorable bday getaway!"
We got a very good deal with this hotel.a walk close to the village, we got a good rate for daily parking too. The room is very clean and there is a bonus jetted tub in the room, that we used almost everynight.just need a couple of maintenance with light switches needs a minor replacement, other than that its perfect!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good location but needs a makeover..."
Staff was very helpful. Hotel could use some refreshing. Location is good for access to village and mountain.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"An OK Hotel."
Overall, the hotel was nice but there are other options and I will not stay there again. Parking is $15 a day, and check-out time comes early at 10:00AM. The staff was helpful and the room and hotel were very clean but there are many, more accommodating options.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice location, clean room, and helpful staff. Cooking in room can create unpleasant smells that permeate the hallway to other rooms. Parking charge of $15 dollars. No breakfast but lots of places to eat in teh village.Genuine Expedia guest review
The hotel was nice and clean enough but you would think that during the off season, they could have given us a nicer room (granted we didn't ask for it). The front desk asked if we were going to park at the hotel ($15) but failed to mention that the day lots were free overnight. Luckily, we asked the info desk in the village and they told us. The rate […] was really good and it was only a one night stay. I would stay here again but ask for a nicer room- the decor was a bit dated. There were lots of nice towels though. "Great location and helpful staff."
Really nice place to stay and great value. It's a 2 minute walk from the Greyhound bus stop and the info centre. There's a room for storing bikes or skiis, and the staff were really helpful and friendly. There's an amazing Tapas place just around the corner which we ate at three times (it was that good).Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Toilet started leaking and making a racket - called to correct problem. maintenance guy came up to check out and did a quick fix. problem returned and I called him back - He changed out part and left. noise returned & continued until I got up from bed and turned off the water supply. "Great time in Whistler!"
Loved this hotel! Location was super. Just a few steps away from the village stroll, so while being really convenient, it was really quiet and peaceful! Our room was great! "Great place to stay; would like to return."
Staff was very friendly and helpful; offered discount coupons for food and tickets for Peak to Peak when they found out we were going. Hotel was convenient to Whistler Village pedestrian way while being off the main drag. Could walk to most places easily and enjoyed the in-room double jacuzzi after an active day on the mountain trails.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location and an excellent deal!"
The location is fabulous. While it is located within Whistler Village, it's off the main "Village Stroll" area, so it gets quiet and remains quiet at night. The room was large and certainly had everything we'd need, if we were there for more time. We'd absolutely stay here again! Clean, comfy, WIFI, and near to everything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Comfortable and relaxing. I had a top floor room . The bath towels were top notch- thick and soft. I used the kitchen to prepare breakfast though I could of prepared a full course meal there if desired The jacuzzi tub had a lovely Mt. View. We really enjoyed our visit to Whistler's Pinnacle. This was our first trip to Whistler, and were very pleased with the hotel, its cleanliness, views from our balcony, size of room, location, and decor. We would definitely recommend this hotel! Got a great deal for two nights in a Deluxe Studio Suite. The staff is very friendly, and the location is convenient to most anywhere in Whistler. "Good location. Staff not very helpfull."
The hotel was nice and clean. The only draw back is that someone stole my wallet out of the room. When talking with staff they really didn't care and were not helpfull. While talking to them another lady came down to say that someone went through her bags. The staff said that it was not possible and would not call the police. We had to call ourselves […] and file a report. The next day we met with the manager which was nice and helpfull and promise he would look into it. Would not stay there again. "Comfortable room/service - fit for light cooking"
Staff was very friendly and we were given a corner suite on the top floor with a view of the blackcomb mountains overlooking the pool. While this may not be a new place, it was kept very well and everything was functional. Loved the jacuzzi tub :-) However, if you are planning to cook there, please make sure you understand that the vent does not take […] the smoke outside, rather it just blows it back on top of your head. I learned the hard way as I heated the pan and when attempting to sear my lovely rib-eye steaks, we got the smoke alarm going and the room was marinated with that smell for hours! So if you're planning to cook, steaming and not using butter/oil would be preferred. I love cooking and because of this, I was limited in what I was planning to make. They do have most of everything you need for cooking and dining but I did bring my own knife and base ingredients like oil, salt, pepper, etc. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Whistler Pinnacle-good value for Whistler"
The reason I didn't give it a five was because it is starting to show wear and I like having more room in the bathroom sink area to put makeup, toothpaste etc. Overall, for Whistler, it was probably a good value. Bed was very comfortable, a nice view, walking distance to the village, nice kitchenette which cut down on the cost of food, had a balcony […] but was little cold to sit on, in room whirlpool tub. They provided comfy bath robes and large bath towels for use after the whirlpool. It was close to the bus stops and free shuttle. It was also close to a large IGA store. Very friendly staff. very helpful. Good location in the village. Nothing fancy but did the trick. Good value.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location and value. Poor amenities like no health club and poor excuse for a pool and spa. Also, internet was down for the entire stay. A huge bonus is the Alta Bistro in same building. Excellent!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"All the needed amenities, with fantastic staff"
We chose this hotel for the location, along with the fact that it had a kitchenette and a jacuzzi tub in the living room. The hotel was fairly basic, but totally met our needs. And the staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We got in one night around 10pm and had a major craving for fruit pie with ice cream, so the guy at the front desk […] did a little research and came back to us with the name of a few places that offered that! "Pinnacle reaching the peak in Whistler!"
For the money the Pinnacle is a great option for Whistler Balckcomb. Close walk to the village (about 3/4 minutes) and to the gondolas (6/7 minutes) Suite was very comfortable, lots of room for clothes, and snowboarding equipment. "Lovely Place to stay in Whistler"
This hotel is great for location, price, and nice amenities. Only complaint was the carpet was a bit dingy, our fireplace didn't function well, and would have liked an inside route to get to the hot tub, as walking out the front door of the hotel, to go back in on the other side of the hotel, to go back outside again to the hot tub is a little bit annoying. "Wonderful Front Desk Staff!"
Our stay at the hotel enhanced our little romantic getaway! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, it was truly a delight speaking with them. Not very many hotel staffs that you can say that about! The hotel was beyond our expectations! What a wonderful hotel. Nice room with everything in a compact space. There were no screens on the patio door and the window, but there were also no bugs. "Best bet in Whistler"
My husband and I go to Whistler once a year, and we have been doing so for the last 15 years. We usually try to stay at more high-end hotels/condos (preferably 4 star and above). We've stayed at a number of different accommodations in Whistler, including townhomes, condos and hotels, so feel that we have a good sense of what is available at Whistler […] and how the Pinnacle compares. Bottom-line: The Pinnacle is the best hotel option in Whistler. Reasonably priced, and very well-maintained with a small kitchenette. The beds are comfy, the rooms are spacious, and there's even a romantic Jacuzzi tub in all the rooms. The hotel is showing slight signs of age, but I've noticed some recent renovations to keep it up-to-date (i.e. lobby and bathrooms). The location can't be beat - a short walk to the village, the local marketplace, and everything else that you might need. The staff are also friendly and attentive. Finally, if you have a chance, definitely eat at Alta Bistro, the restaurant connected to the hotel - one of the best meals I've had in awhile. We always enjoy a very comfortable stay at the Pinnacle and would recommend it to all our friends and family. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not worth it"
I was disappointed with the hotel and I personally will not be staying there again. I'm not sure if the mistake lies with the hotel or hotels.com but while booking I had opted for and paid the fees for a room with 2 queen beds as there were 3 of us travelling together. Once we got there we were informed that my choice was merely a preference and not […] a guarantee. So instead, we got a queen bed and a sofabed. As anyone who has ever slept in a sofabed will attest, it is not the most comfortable option. perhaps next time i should pay with monopoly money as I'm sure Canadian dollars are just a 'Preference'. In addition to that, there is a jacuzzi less than a foot away from the side of the bed. I can see how many people would consider that a plus but I don't. I think something like this should either have been placed on a deck or balcony of some sort or made a part of the bathroom. In my opinion it is unsanitary to have a large bathtub less than a foot away from the only queen bed in the suite. Most of the doors and cabinets are dated with paint chipping off at the edges. When I pulled out a towel, there was a long strand of hair wrapped up in it. I have stayed in hotels around the world (and several other hotels in whistler) and there is no way this place deserves a 4 star rating. I am greatly disappointed and will not be recommending it to anyone else. I certainly did not get what I paid for. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
