Econo Lodge - Cambridge

The room was clean, but the bed needed to have the mattress flipped. We had a king-sized bed and we kept falling to the middle of the bed. We also had a problem with the hot water in the shower. Other than that the room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate.

This is an old motel that has not been updated at all. Nothing else was avalible at the time. The pool was an odd shade of green for the whole stay and nobody was ever in it. You could not even see the bottom. Sleeping in the car might have been a better option.

It was clean and comfortable. I would have liked a door on the first entry to the bathroom instead of just the toilet and tub. My wife is pretty modest and had to wait till I had gone back to our vehicle before getting ready to sleep.

We enjoyed staying at the EconoLodge recently but would likely choose a different hotel for future visits. While the staff was professional and we enjoyed interacting with them, and while the food provided at breakfast was of expected quality, we were disappointed in the state of repair of the hotel in general. The room in which we stayed had a door […] that had obviously been forced in the past (it only stayed securely shut when we closed the deadbolt). Mold was evident in the shower. No other rooms were available in the area due to power outages, so there was no option to switch rooms. The pool was fairly dirty and appeared to be maintained primarily by hand skimming and pool "pucks" on the base of the pool (no chlorinator). This method can work but did not appear to be sufficient for the pool in this location. I do not know if phosphates were dealt with or not. Read more

Okay for a one night stay. The room was somewhat dirty and outdated decor. The WIFI was free, parking was free, continental breakfast was okay.Convenient location for I 70/I 77. Would probably not stay here again.

We liked the picnic tables scattered around the hotel grounds, and the convenience of places to eat within walking distance. Eventhough we did not swim in the pool, many others were, and it looked very nice. We would definetly stay at this hotel again.

It was just fine for an overnight stay. Outdoor pool was nice but needed skimmed. Many traveling oil workers stay there. Building and rooms were clean but extremely dated. The room freshener was very overpowering.

We where given a room that had just recently had a flood from a water line break. It was still a stinking mess with a dehumidifier running trying to dry it out. Place was acceptable for the money. There were no surprises because everybody elses review was dead on. Our room had a strong smell of a cleaning product, the bathroom floor corners could use a toothbrush and some bleach, and there was plenty of room for our dog.

The hotel was in a great location, right off of the freeway. Unfortunately, it did not include a restaurant/bar, although it listed that both in the description. There were multiple options included in the free breakfast. It also listed multiple pools, but has one outdoor.

The hotel was clean, but over the top clean and the smell of the cleaners was a bit overpowering. Older motel in need of upgrades, especially with the HVAC system, but it was a safe, quiet place to stay. Breakfast was not the greatest and needs to be re-thought. Add some hard boiled eggs???

I just stayed overnight for a conference the next day. very clean and staff was very helpful. It is an older hotel and the HVAC was a bit hard to control but overall a clean, clean room. Did not eat the breakfast but can say my stay was positive for a 2 Star Inn.

For an older motel, not bad at all. Good-sized room, very convenient to I-70, lots of nearby places to eat, and when we needed something we forgot, the local 24-hour Walmart was just down the road. Good breakfast, including waffles, and biscuits and sausage gravy (my favorite). Staying here on our return trip.

I reserved a Non-smoking room and when I arrived I was put into a room filled with smoke and it was a smoking room. Other customers were in the office complaining of their cleanliness of their room, and because the had no other rooms that evening they were unable to accommodate their needs, etc.

Nice economy hotel. More than I expected. Easy to find, quiet location right off of the interstate and within minutes of a dozen restaurants and multiple stores. Grounds were nice too. Friendly service with nice, clean rooms. The only minor drawback was the very small pillows. I would bring my own next time. I was very pleased and would stay again.

The hotel sits on a hill top overlooking the surrounding business' and the innerstate. Both times we've stayed there deer have been grazing on the hillside unfazed by our presence. Lovely older motel with established beautful landscaping. The chairs in our room were just a little bit dingy, such is life for an older motel. We didn't have time to take advantage of their free breakfast, but having a coffee machine in our room was perfect. At home we sleep on a Stearns and Foster mattress, a dream. This hotel was very conveniently located. Lots of restaurants, stores, gas stations nearby, but hotel is up a hill, giving a quiet location, with decent scenery. It was clean, well maintained. It is older, but in good shape. The pool was attractive. This is a great value. We would definitely stay there again without hesitation.
