We had a newly renovated room that was very comfortable and quiet (with a continuous fan H&V). Too bad we didn't have time for the pool and waterslide - very cool. While eating breakfast, the desk clerk printed highway conditions reports for us regarding the snow falling on our route to Seattle. Very friendly and helpful.

I would like to see a bigger variety for breakfast menu. Some salty options would be greatly appreciated, like cheese scones, scrambled eggs, cheese,... Our room was clean, but remote control had old batteries, bathroom sink was draining very slowly, there was some black matter (mold?) coming out of the spout in the room's sink. I was missing more information […] on cultural and sport events in the city, restaurants, pubs, or at least some tourist brochures with trails and historical sites in the area should be in the lobby or in the each room. We stayed here on our way to Lake Louise. Excellent half way point with a great rate and very comfortable hotel. Breakfast adequate. There were not a lot of restaurants nearby but the family one next door was good and convenient. Would say this hotel was the best in Merritt

This was the nicest motel for the price that we stayed in for our total vacation. Room was spacious and very nice. The pool was a little noisy with the echo of kids while trying to relax in the hot-tub, but other than that two thumbs up!

Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was really nice with lots to offer. The air conditioner was very noisy and that's the only thing that brought my rating down.

For the price of the room you'd think a giant franchise like the Ramada would be able to update their rooms to some modern things like Flat Screen TV's not 80's style tubes, an the interior coloring was discusting, but after driving 10 hours the bed felt like I was sleeping on cloud 9....lol

Not much to do in Merritt. All the brochures on Merritt make it out to be far better place than it actually is. People are lovely and friendly but I would only stay here again to break a journey. Hotel room very dated but very comfortable. Pool area well maintained and slide adds to the hotel. For kids big or small its a bonus.

I stayed in a smoking room as my Mom is a smoker but it was so clean when we opened the door you would never know it was smoked in previously.
