We could clearly hear normal-tone conversations in the next room, and could hear snoring through the walls on the other side. Horrible place to stay if you want to get any sleep. Grounds were dirty and littered with cigarette butts, too.

Our stay was ok. As soon as we walked in to confirm our reservation, the desk lady was rude. After finding out we booked with hotel.com her attitude just got worse. As she handed our room key she said, " Your in the south building." , pointing with her hand to the left then to the right. We thanked her and went on our journey to find the south building. […] The pool is in the main building were we had to walk outside to get there. Inconvenient if its cold outside. The rooms were ok, our door squeaked and rubbed against the floor so you had to pull it to shut it all the way. The towels were old, we couldn't find the thermostat to adjust the room temperature, so we sweated the night away. I probably won't stay at this location again. Read more

Friendly staff, great location. However early morning trash pickup by large dump truck every morning so don't plan on sleeping late if you are on the north side of the hotel. Great basic stay for business, would stay again next time I've got business at hospitals in Amarillo.

The only good things are the location and the size of the room. The heater in my room didn't work, so I froze all night (keep in mind it was 10F outside). And then at about 4 a.m., the smoke detector in my room started beeping every minute or so to indicate the battery in it was low. When I told the front desk about these issues upon check-out, the […] woman shrugged, wrote it down and offered no apology whatsoever. This leads me to believe that they get these and other complaints frequently. I would recommend strongly that you don't stay here. I've stayed at other Best Westerns and to be honest, they all have issues. I'm done with the chain once and for all. We're all better off at a Holiday Inn Express or a La Quinta. Read more

Very pleasant experience other than an extra $8 charge for a little white hand towel which was supposedly stained so badly by a small amount of spilled coffee that it could not be removed . So...if you stay here, be sure to take along your own paper towels or towels from home just in case you need to clean something up. over all the hotel is a nice place to stay. we were supposed to have a non smoking room, but it sure smelled like it had been a smoking room in the past. i hope they get rid of that smell. considering it was a last minute reservation i wasn't going to complain

The smell outside was awful--smelled like stockyard, but once inside you could not smell it. Clean and neat. A little hard to get the room temp adjusted, but a nice big room. Breakfast was your average hotel fast food breakfast, but the serve staff was very good and efficient trying to keep everything filled up. About a mile off the interstate.

I was greeted with a very friendly front desk staff. My room was clean and I loved that I could just pull the car up to the door. Bonus: a quick walk from my room was a great Mexican restaurant! The hotel was good no complaints beside the air conditioner fan something was broken inside it so it made thus constant rattle noise which was a little annoying and hard to sleep with. The area was nice besides the overwhelming smell of cattle but I guess that's Texas for ya. Good on everything except the very poor selection for the offered hot breakfast. Dirty looking scrambled eggs, wet toasted bread and yucky porridge which is apparently called "Gravy" - looked more like cat sick.
