After reading most of reviews, we chose this hotel when we noticed how close the hotel is to central station & as we wanted to stay there overnight just to visit Pompeii instead of Naples itself. We arrived there at 7 pm after approximately a 3 hour journey from Roma Termini station in the cheapest available train which cost just 10.50 Euros per person. Literally the hotel is a minute from the station, on the corner. Just walk out of station, turn left, pass pedestrian line & there it is. (Bear in mind here drivers do not pay attention to pedestrian line & pass it without stopping! So BE CAREFULL!) After passing a revolving door, we got rid of the crazy chaotic atmosphere of city thanks to excellency sound isolation of the hotel & we felt quite comfortable inside the hotel. Once inside we discovered the front desk staffs were extremely pleasant & helpful. A charming lady checked us in & in a few minutes we were in our room. As I always prefer shower instead of bathtub I asked them to change the room and they did so quickly. The room was nice at descent size. The bathroom was ok. Sheets & towels were clean &the bed was comfortable. (No Kettle). WI –fi service was acceptable although it was free only in lobby & every 30 minutes we had to get a new password. In contrast with what said by other reviewers the breakfast was average but the staffs at breakfast saloon were very friendly. For the general Italian standard, this hotel is actually quite nice & considering the rate & location it is a very good deal. I would highly recommend it & I definitely will come back for visit Herculaneum. **************************************************************************But there remains a little something that I feel I MUST share with you. In the morning after breakfast we went to reception & asked about available options for going to Pompeii. The receptionist Mr. L** replied there are 2 options –by car & train. Hotel is just across the street from one of the entrances to the Pompei archaeological site. We enjoyed our stay here.
Location.
This Capri hotel faces the Gulf of Naples and is steps from the beach. The pier at Marina Grande and the funicular up to Capri Town are both less than a two-minute walk from Relais Maresca. Villa San Michele is 1 km (0.6 mi) away.

"Charming hotel"
Cute hotel.Very charming.Get ocean view rooms,it's only little more extra.It worth it!!!People at hotels are nice.Great view,I recommend for someone who spend one night,caming to Capri for blue grotto.Only one complain-not for the hotel,but we had hard time catching a bus to Marina grande.Yet, again,great location for ppl who goes to blue grotto.

"Best Hotel in Capri - Awesome location"
This hotel Rocks! The location was perfect being In front of the Grand Marina. It was easy to take the ferry, the bus to Anacapri or the tram up to Capri. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend this Hotel to anyone thinking of going to Capri. The best 'bang for the buck'!
"Amazingly convenient and great place with great vw"
We just hopped right off the water taxi from Napoli and found the hotel so easily! It was great. We were only there for 1 night so we wanted to get there early and see the island. It was nice being able to walk right up to the hotel without spending any money getting there. We checkecd in and got right to sightseeing. We rented a scooter at the place […] next to the hotel and they gave us a great deal for staying at the hotel. The view was so totally amazing! "Awesome hotel right near the beach,"
We had a great experience at this hotel. It was conveniently located near the bus station, the cable car to take you to the city Capri, and two min walk down to the beach. Beach is a bit pebbly but no major complaints here. Rooms are clean and complimentary breakfast was awesome! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

"As close to a bargain as you can get in Capri"
This hotel is in the Marina Grande, and not in the town proper, but it is only a quick trip up the funicular or hike on a set of stairs to get to the town proper. It's mere steps away from the boat tours and ferry ride from Naples or Sorrento. Hotels in the town proper cost two to four times this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised with the relaxing roof […] patio, clean, comfortable room and bed, and friendly hotel staff. The breakfast was decent, and this is not a four star hotel, but when visiting a place like Capri or Monaco, where the elite meet, this was everything I wanted it to be without having to go broke. "Clean, Comfortable, and Convenient"
The location was perfect. Being right by the harbor we didn't have to mess with lugging our suitcases up the hills to the more touristy hotels, and Relais Maresca was in beautiful shape with big and comfortable rooms, not to mention a great view. I would definitely stay here again is I make it back to Capri.

"Our Anniversary"
We had an amazing stay at Relais Maresca. The hotel room that we booked was a no view and when we arrived they upgraded us to what seemed like the nicest room in the whole hotel, with the best view. The room was clean and very nicely decorated. They had robes and slippers waiting for us. The balcony was great! The bed was a lot more comfortable then […] I expected, as well as the pillows. The hotel staff was very pleasant and extremely helpful, they recomnded great places to see and eat for our stay. What completely topped it of for us was the morning we were leaving, we ordered breakfast in the room... to tired to go down stairs and they didn't charge us. They were extremly nice and very curtious. We are going to Capri next year again and we will definetly be staying with them again!!!! Read more

The overall rating of hotels in Italy is doubtfull. The view to the Mediterranean sea is what seems to be the standard that assigns the stars to the hotels. This hotel has no pool, no amenities, etc. There are amazing hotels in Capri for more money. "Great views."

"Capri harbour hotel"
Very close to the harbour, but 30 minutes walk to the centre of Capri. Clean hotel. Staff friendly enough. Overpriced for what it was though
"Great location"
We could walk from where the ferry dropped us off at the marina. Staff was excellent, beautiful views, very comfortable rooms. Would definitely stay here again.
"Wonderful Hotel"
This is a wonderful hotel to stay at close to harbor, buses, and the tram cant get a better location. Views are breath taking. Hotel staff is great and helpful and will answer your questions. I would also suggest their private transfer from train station, or airport to the ferry well worth it.( Need to contact hotel for this option.)

一人で2泊しました。 港の目の前なので到着時も出発時もとても便利ですが、坂の上なので自分でスーツケースを持っていかなければならないのがちょっと大変でした。出発時に港まで荷物をお願いしたら1つにつき4ユーロかかったのでもったいなかったです。徒歩3分くらいですが重いし多かったので仕方なく。。。 ダブル、シービュー朝食付きで予約。 お部屋はいいサイズでゆとりもありました。タイルも清潔で全体的にきれいです。 ポットやフリーのお水はありませんが、夜紅茶が飲みたくなり、ティーバッグはあるのでお湯と牛乳とお砂糖をフロント横のバーエリアでお願いしたら、フリーで持ってきてくれました。チップのみ。 近くに小さなスーパーみたいなお店があるので便利です。 朝食ブッフェは品数は少ないですが、気持ちのいいベランダで食べれます。 フロントの方もみんな親切です。 カプリを楽しみたいなら島の上のほうのホテルをおすすめしますが、1泊などのショートトリップならここでも十分だと思います。 booked […] double sea view room for 1 person, stayed 2 nights. the room was enough size and i liked to see the sunrise in front of the veranda. port is 3min walk but if you ask to bring the luggage to the port, 1 luggage is 4 euro, quite expensive. no pot, no free water in the room, but very clean and good vibe. if you stay few days in capri, you should stay at the top area in this island, anacapri is much more beautiful, but short trip, such as 1 day, this hotel is really convenient. Mycket trevligt hotell i Capris hamn. När till båtarna, bad och till buss/bergbana/gångväg till Capri stad. God frukost på underbar terass. Trevlig personal. Vi bodde i budgetrum som var litet men välstädat och trevligt.

7月にスーペリアシービューに2泊しました。お部屋は水色でとてもかわいく、広さも十分です。港のすぐそばなので、初めてのカプリにはおすすめです。バスやフニコラーレも夏場は遅くまでやっているようで、夜、カプリ地区で食事しても帰ってこれます。テラスでの朝食もとても気持ちよいです。 アマルフィ、ポジターノへの船も（夏場は）頻繁にあるので、カプリに泊まって日帰りでも十分楽しめると思います。
"初めて訪れるならお薦め！"
マリーナグランデのすぐそばにあるので、初めてのカプリ訪問にはお薦めのホテルです。 私はアマルフィから入り、宿泊後ナポリへ移動したのですが、港のそばですと大きな荷物を持った移動に大変便利でした。 （もっとも港から離れた一部のホテルでは送迎サービスを有料、無償でやっているところもあるようです） 青の洞窟へ行くには目の前にチケット売り場及び乗り場もあり、フニコラーレでカプリ地区へ行くにも、バスでアナカプリ地区へ行くにも全て徒歩５分圏内で乗り場があり、観光にも大変便利でした。 街の中心はカプリにあるのですが、夏場ですと２２時台までバス、フニコラーレが運行しておりますので遊んで帰って来るにも問題はありません。 ただし、港近くの飲食店やお土産屋さんは夜の閉店時間が早く、２１時台でほぼ真っ暗でした。 […] ですが、２３時くらいまでやっているコンビニのようなお店があったのでお水やちょっとしたものを買うには困りませんでした。 朝食はホテルの最上階テラスで次々出入航する船を眺めながらの食事で、フルーツがとっても美味しかったです。 Read more

立地はフェリーの到着港の目の前だし、島のほかのエリアへ行くバス、タクシー、ロープウェイも目の前にあります。カプリ到着後、ホテルに荷物を置いてすぐに青の洞窟ツアーに出かけられて、非常に便利でした。朝食もホテルの屋上で海を眺めながら頂けて、最高です。ケーキや卵、ベーコン、パン、もおいしかったです。ただ、泊まった部屋のメンテナンスがたまたま？最悪で、初日寝る前にベッドに腰掛けていて、起き上がろうとしたら、ベッドの足が、接合部分から、ボキッと折れて、もう夜だったので、次の日にそれはすぐ修理してくれましたが、次の日には、バスタブをためると、バスルームの排水溝から水が溢れ出て、バスルームが水浸しになりました。この時ばかりは、我慢できず、すぐにガイドさんにたのんで、電話でフロントのマネージャーさんにクレー […] ムを入れてもらいました。マネージャーはすぐに部屋にやって来てくれましたが、タオルで床を拭いただけで、私達に何の謝罪の言葉もありませんでした。 次の日の朝チェックアウトする時もこのマネージャーがフロント係でしたが、私達に何も言ってくれないばかりか、むしろ無愛想でした。ホテルの部屋事態はかわいらしくステキでしたが、フロントスタッフの対応は最低でした。 Read more
"Ruidoso por la noche"
El hotel es ruidoso de noche porque los motores de los barcos que hay en el puerto se oyen toda la noche como si fuera un frigorífico antiguo. Por otra parte como todo en Capri no se corresponde con 4 estrellas. El desayuno es muy discreto aunque la terraza esta bastante bien. En general no esta del todo mal pero creo que hay otros que están mejor.

Perfekt läge alldeles vid hamnen med underbar utsikt om du väljer detta (gör det). Vill du upp till centrala staden så är det gångavstånd (lååång backe) eller linbana som gäller. Finns alldeles intill hotellet där även både bussar och taxi finns om man vill till andra delar av denna fina ö.

è un albergho molto bello ci ha piacuto tanto,è stato tutto pullito e tutto il personale era molto gentile...non ci siamo sentiti disturbati neanche a causa del porto,il contrario il posto è perfetto per scoprire capri di tutte e due parti
"härlig capri känsla"
rent snyggt drinkar serverades på fri och rund hand. Vi var där i början på april , dvs lite off season då var det mycket lungt , Balkong med utsikt var perfekt. Frukost på takterassen helt ok.

Detta är ett mycket vackert hotell. Inredningen är av smakfull italiensk design och med ett toppenläge med utsikt över havet ända till Neapel. Det är ett litet hotell. Kosta på dig ett rum med havsutsikt och egen terrass, det ångrar du inte. Frukosten intas på en stor takterrass med milsvid utsikt. Personalen är trevlig,servicen god och fri Internet […] finns i lobbyn. Hotellet ligger alldeles vid hamnen Marina Grande. Det tar 3 minuter från båten till hotellet.
