We have stayed here twice now and have had water leakage from the ceiling. They were willing to switch our rooms both times, but what a hassle. No discounts either. Probably will not consider another bookimg here. Too bad! With some updating and remodeling, it could be a very nice hotel. :(

Only stayed one night so the room sufficed, but it was much lower standards than rooms I normally stay in. This hotel was a bit older and run down, there were empty beer and liquor bottles up and down the stairs and loud people throughout the hallway all night. Bathroom was about 24inches x 26inces. I stayed at this hotel with my significant other for one night. I decided to stay here because we were going to the casino down the road and this hotel was close by. When I checked in, the front desk person wasn't very friendly. We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner and the food was very good, but the staff was disorganized. We were asked by two […] different servers if we wanted beverages. It took a long time to get our food and we had to drop off our money at the bar because the server didn't come back to take it. We ate there at about 6:30 and it wasn't very busy. The beds in the room were way too firm for me. The floor wasn't vacuumed entirely and the bathroom obviously wasn't cleaned very well because there was a giant hair on the edge of the tub and the toilet was dirty. The door and walls weren't very thick because we could hear children screaming up and down the halls when we first got there, and again in the morning. I could hear people in the room next to us talking at a normal level. The pool area looked nice though we didn't swim. I didn't bother with the free breakfast and certainly wasn't going to pay for the breakfast buffet. Overall, I felt the price was pretty high for what the hotel offered. If I had spent less for the night I would have overlooked most of the negative things. I would not stay at this hotel again. Read more

Our initial check in was by an unpleasant woman who did not smile but when we returned someone new was behind the desk and she was great as was the restaurant personnel. Clean rooms, great beds and good food in the restaurant. We would go there again.

If you like any of the things in the title, then stay here. Upon arrival there were literally no parking spots because there is a restaurant attached to this hotel. (Food was not good either). I waited over 5 minutes for someone to even come out to the front desk to help me. The girl working that night was far from friendly and it took over 10 minutes […] for me to check in to a room that was already reserved and paid for. The room was very small, you could not close the door in the bathroom unless you were in the bathtub and forget trying to open it and get out. Not including the bathtub it was about 2ft x 3ft...like I said, couldn't close the door when you stood in it, good thing I am not over 200lbs or I would not have fit at all. Pool was ice cold, hot tub ice cold and sauna out of order. When we spoke to the front desk could not give an reason for it. To find out that it was out of order since Friday per other guest. Halls so cold that you felt heat was not working either.

The main areas were very worn, with patches on walls and light fixtures falling of brackets. The breakfast was very minimal . It was an affordable room with great access to their hall so I could attend a wedding with no thoughts about traveling home when it was done. Pool looked great though over crowded at 10pm. My biggest upset about the hotel is that it advertised a game room. When I took my 4 and 9 year old to play, two of the games were off/broken. We had some ceiling water leakage as we were right below the laundry floor.and had to switch rooms. Everything was made better by upgrading us to a suite with hot tub. We said ok..."Fixed" awesome customer service!! :)

This hotel should win an award for the world's tiniest bathrooms. It is almost a 'walk-in' and 'back-out' situation. The toilet especially is undersized. The bed was very comfortable though.

not better than average . . .. "breakfast" was terrible. Nothing hot, one type of fruit (oranges), and the pastry consisted of donuts that had been quartered plus a few more cheap imitations of edible pastry. Even the coffee was limited. I'd stay here if I had to but there are better, and cheaper options in Baraboo.

Good location only 15 min. from the Dells. The Hotel has seen better days in terms of the interior, it is clearly a bit old. It is not super clean, but above average I might say. Overall a good stay. Pool didn't look promising so I didn't dip in!

First off, the room was comfortable. The main area was clean and we got a good night sleep on the beds. Next, while the bathroom looked clean at first, I soon found out different. The first morning while I was showering I saw a long hair on the shower curtain. I have short hair and so does my mother, who I was traveling with. And we're both grey, this […] was brown. The second day I got in the shower and reached for the little plastic bar on the tub to balance myself. It came off. I put it back in but when I picked up my bar of soap a bit later there was a bunch of hair on it. New bar. The hair must have come off with the bar. My mother told me the bar came out on her too earlier that morning. Next, breakfast. It was a very basic continental breakfast. I think the reason it was so basic was because they tried to get you to buy the buffet breakfast at the restaurant. You got a $2 off coupon to use if you wanted more. No thanks! The location was great since we wanted a quiet and relaxing stay but not be too far from the Dells. Next time we'll stay at the BW across the road. Read more

Service at front desk was horrible - felt totally unwelcome. Room was cramped -too much furniture crammed into a small space. The bathroom was ridiculously small. The room was relatively clean, and definitely helped make up for the other deficiencies. The hotel restaurant was great, however, and it alone made it worth the stay.

Didn't encounter much of the staff but they seemed to be fairly friendly and informative. Room was not huge but clean. Off the beaten path from the Dells but close enough, 15-20 minute ride. We were very satisfied with the hotel. I did not realize when I made the reservations that we were 20 minutes from The Dells but it actually worked out fine. We were not there for the water parks but the boat tour. I think families with young children would probably want to stay in the Dells.

The room was clean. The bed linens and bath towels were of good quality. The bed was very comfortable and the furnishings were nice. We received a call from the front desk shortly after we checked in asking if the accommodations were satisfactory. Unfortunately the day we checked in it was very hot. The lobby and hallways were quite warm and so was […] one of our rooms. We were given two fans and that was the "fix". No follow up with maintenance. The heated indoor pool was 62 degrees which was not conducive to swimming with young children. We were told that the pool was being maintenanced and it should warm up. 24 hours later it was 65.. We reported it again and were told that they would send someone to check the thermostat. It was up to 67 by the time we left. The manager had no knowledge of the problem in spite of the fact that we had informed four desk clerks. I would suggest they move the cigarette ash can away from the doors as the fumes travelled up to the third floor and we had to walk through the cloud of smoke to get in. Read more

The hotel was very nice and a nice surprise. It was definitely better than we expected. Staff was very friendly and allowed us to check in 1 hour before scheduled check-in time. The only down side to the hotel was that the pool was on the fourth floor and we were told that they wouldn't recommend using it because the heat was on on that floor and it was extremely hot up there. The room was nice and clean, service was great,but...couldn't sleep at night because of the air conditioner. It was making annoying noise even being turned off. And finally next door neighbors loud radio at 6 am. We stayed 1 night and it wasn't good because of lack of sleep.
