"2012 Cacun Trip"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
This was great place to stay, no screaming sring breakers. This is an adult oriented all inclusive hotel. The food was excenllent, you have to try the rotisserie chicken on the beach!

"Amazing Location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Na Balam got some underserved poor scores. The location happened to be the best location on the island (as far as beaches go), and fairly convenient to excitement of down town. The grounds were spectacular, and for such a reasonable price. Front desk and beach bar staff were not amazing, but not bad either. They could do some training on customer service in order to make it a more magical experience, but all in all, it was acceptable service.
"HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Wow! What an amazing time we had staying at the Royal Solaris!! We spent our 19th anniversary at this all inclusive resort for 4 days and never even had the slightest urge to go into town or leave the hotel. Friendly staff checked us in. They were knowledgeable, efficient, and there was no waiting. The Time Share lady who offered us a "quick tour" of the hotel but did not get pushy or upset when we told we just wanted to get to our room and then hit the beach. She asked that we come see her, but we never did and we never got bothered with Time Share talk the rest of the time. The multiple pools looked like lots of fun, but hey...we have a pool at home so we spent every waking minute at the beautiful beaches. The "vendors" walking up and down the beach were not pushy at all and after each one made their 1st pass/effort, they didn't bother us the rest of the day. Benjamin and Kike (pronounced kee-kay), were our beach waiters over the weekend and both of them were absolutely tremendous!! We could not have asked for a better experience. The room was clean, it had a comfortable bed, and plenty of water pressure for our showers. Oh...and pay the little extra to get the beach view room...spectacular views of the sunrise and gorgeous blue waters!!

The Cancun Hotel Zone rests on a slit of land bound by a lagoon and the turquoise waters of the Caribbean Sea. Sunseekers crowd the white-sand beaches. At night, the action moves to the restaurants, clubs, and bars that line Boulevard Kukulcán, the area’s main artery. This road passes by the El Rey ruins, believed to be a king’s tomb.

I would only return if the pwerrices were lower
"BEst beaches in the world"
Very nice hotel. Not too big like the rest of the hotel zone. So quieter. Would recommend for couples or singles (over the age of 26). Beds are uber comfy too. Worth every penny!
"Casa Magna Cancun-excellent all inclusive package"
I would highly recommend the all inclusive package unless you plan to leave the resort a lot. It included all meals, drinks (including rail drinks) as well as the kids' club, and discounts in the store. The hotel is located just on the beach and our room had a great view of the Carribean. Our room was also cleaned early every day, which is always a […] plus. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. Read more

"Nice Hotel - Service - Not Dependable"
The hotel is beautiful, no question. The concierge was terrible. She consistently gave us incorrect information and showed no initiative to help us. She would make phone calls to tour companies or other facilities but only when I directed her, step by step. The Argentine Steak Restaurant seemed to be in a hurry. Menu says Caesar Salad was to be prepared […] at the table and it wasn't, 2 plates were thrown in front of us. Overall this is a nice hotel but nothing special. Read more
"Beautiful Beach & Lovely Room"
I booked an ocean view room for one night ending my 10 day travel throughout the Yucatan Peninsula. The room service was great, beach beautiful, staff very friendly and efficient, room very comfortable. I picked this hotel because it had a very high recommendation rate here on Hotels.com. The only downside is the restaurants are insanely expensive... […] I'd say only eat at the restaurants if you are rich or it's on another persons dime. I was in complete shock at the prices for the restaurants. Read more

"Very convenient"
Everything is perfect except the bed is small and they lost my daughter's pillow on the third day. So everything else is very beautiful and very hot.
"marriott casamagna"
Fabulous hotel. just overnighted but would have really enjoyed staying longer. resturants and services a little pricey but thats typical of marriott chain.
"Recent Stay"
Nice hotel ! We got a stay 3 nights get fourth night free deal with breakfast. Breakfast was excellent and amenities were all present on site. The restaurants on site and at JW Marriott next door were all great. Please note that internet access is $16US and not very fast and is confusing to use. The staff is great and friendly. The on-site tourist center […] books good deals, be sure to request a discount. Here's a note to all Cancun visitors. Use the KuKulKan Blvd buses it's only 8.5 pesos per person to get anywhere in the hotel zone. But beware to count your change the Bus drivers don't "concentrate" on giving tourists the correct change. Read more

"Marriott CasaMagna"
An excellent hotel in the Cancun hotel zone. No problems. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a tour office that could book tours. Across the street from one marina and one hotel away and across the street from Aqua World.
"CasaMagna Marriott Cancun Exceeds Expectations"
The resort is beautiful and I would say is 4.5 stars in all public areas with the rooms being 3.5 stars. The rooms are nice, but the bathrooms could use updating. All Inclusive Option (escape to luxury package) Details: Includes everything at breakfast (buffet or a la carte at La Capilla), limited poolside menu (or full menu for a $10 per person per […] meal surcharge) at lunch, and full menu at the Sports bar at lunch, and all restaurants at dinner, but many menu items (lobster, filet, etc.) will incur an additional $10 charge. The drinks are pretty much all included (other than imports/top shelf) and beach/pool service was great. While every all inclusive supposedly includes tips, this one actually does. They put a stamp on the check that states tip included and cannot even allow you to further tip without having you initial the tip. That said, we found small "extra" tips still go along way. If you decide not to do the all inclusive option, try to get a package that includes breakfast and then venture out to the nearby malls for excellent dinner choices including: Ruth Chris, Outback, etc. Also, there is a 7-11 and drugstore across the street that you can stock up on drinks. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Read more

"Excellent Choice. Would recommend it to anyone!"
From start to finish the hotel was excellent. Friendly, clean and great beach! We stayed in an Ocean View Room, would highly recommend that. Only ate at the Isla restaurant and the food was good. We had the best massages in their spa.
"Great place"
Had a great stay but very long check out line, needed more help for those checking in and out.
"Marriott Casa Magna Cancun"
Nice hotel with good facilities however the airport shuttle and taxi service from the hotel are both complete rip-offs. I was awoken at 2:45am when the room phone rang with a man requesting to speak to another guest. I was awoken again at 3:30 by revellers, returning rather boisterously to their rooms. Not the most restful stay!

"Marriott Casa Magna"
Great Hotel to stay!!!
This place was awesome! Beautiful lobby, well appointed rooms. Service all around was top notch. The hotel workers were all very friendly. Very clean room & public areas incl bathrooms. Great beach, large pool. Our rate included breakfast which was a huge buffet. Took the bus to downtown & restaurants. No problems with water, ice, raw vegs/fruit so […] long as you eat in the touristy area. I would definitely recommend it & go back. Read more

"Beautiful hotel, great beach, helpful staff"
We're a kinda-picky family of 4, 2 pre-teen boys, and stay at Marriotts often. Hotel is well maintained and clean. Rooms are nice, service is very friendly and helpful. Pool area is very nice and beach is great, although storms weeks before we arrived created a bit of a cliff along the entire shoreline at the water's edge. White sand, turquoise water, […] sunny & 90* everyday - how awesome! Also across the street & a 5 min walk to Aquaworld, HQ for tons of water activities that we took advantage of so very convenient. Bus is 65c/person to anywhere in the hotel zone or into downtown which we did for an authentic dinner (our cheapest meal the whole stay). Isla Mall a 5-10 min ride but like being in Anytown USA. Still had a fun evening with the many activities there. Two watch outs - internet fee and on-premise restaurants are VERY expensive. Still, we would definitely recommend! Read more
"Marriott CasaMagna Resort Cancun, a great hotel"
Highly recommended hotel. Walking distance to AquaWorld. Would like to go back soon. Service was excellent. Condition of hotel is excellent. Room was clean. Beautiful oceanfront view. Loved all the luxury dinning restaurants: Mikado(Japanese), La Capilla (Argentina) and Sa-Si (Thai) - no need to line up, make reservation ahead of time. All-inclusive […] really means all-inclusive. Already miss the hotel. For sure it was a wonderful Escape! Read more
