For the price paid this hotel is totally worth the money. Free breakfast and no resort fees! Location right on fremont. Hotel staff were very nice compared to some higher priced hotels. Front desk was friendly at check in. Valet guys were nice. Breakfast was awesome. Room was a little dated and tired but for the rate paid it was clean, quiet and safe.

The room was a steal at the price, and it was right on the strip. Only complaints /i had were poor lobby lay-out (had to ask where the check in desk was) and poor room and elevator maintenance, the elevators shook so bad i thought we could plunge to the bottom at any moment.

Ravella at Lake Las Vegas, located in suburban Henderson, Nev., transports the wistful romance of the Mediterranean to the Nevada desert. This property stands along the shores of Lake Las Vegas and is connected to the prestigious shops, restaurants and the casino located at MonteLago Village.
Hotel Features.
American cuisine is prepared at the Medici Café and Terrace, noted for its fresh seasonal fare, extensive wine list, and collection of Renaissance artwork. The Firenze Lobby Lounge and Galileo Bar boasts a signature Prickly Pear Lemonade, tapas and live weekend entertainment. A total of 30,000 square feet of indoor and 40,000 square feet of outdoor function space accommodates events. A business center houses four computer stations. A European-inspired spa features exclusive body treatments, dry and wet saunas, cold plunge pools, spa tubs and tsunami showers. The fitness center contains an outdoor lap pool and rental pool cabanas outfitted with flat-screen televisions and refrigerators. The resort's full-service day spa, The Spa at Ravella, features treatments such as the Geranium Aroma Scrub and the Hydrating Blue Flowers body wrap. Four of the 24 treatment rooms are open to the fresh air on one side, with the sounds of a nearby waterfall enhancing the experience. Skilled staff offers romantic massage experiences for couples. The salon has a full range of aesthetic services and there is a spa cafe.
The fitness center, part of the spa, offers lake and pool views, and most of the cardio machines have their own TVs. Relaxation rooms include dry and wet saunas, cold plunge pools, lockers, and spa tubs.

Ravella at Lake Las Vegas's outdoor lap pool overlooks Lake Las Vegas. The fitness center offers cardio machines that have their own TVs. Relaxation rooms include dry and wet saunas, cold plunge pools, and spa tubs.
The hotel offers nightly telescope stargazing (surcharge) under the clear desert skies. For additional surcharges, guests can enhance their stargazing experience with cognac, s'mores, or cigars, or even name a star with the International Star Registry.
At the lake, Lake Las Vegas Marina and the San Diego Sailing Academy offer water sports equipment rentals, including canoes, kayaks, sailboats, windsurfers, fishing equipment, pedal boats, outboard fishing boats, and yachts. The resort also hosts hikes, nature walks, mountain bike trips, and rock climbing adventures in the surrounding desert (fees may be charged).
Guests enjoy preferred tee times and preferred fees at two championship golf courses. The Falls, designed by Tom Weiskopf, offers play in a desert setting, with dramatic elevation changes. Reflection Bay is a Jack-Nicklaus-designed course with many holes along the water. The hotel concierge can assist with golf arrangements.

"Pleasantly surprised!"
I came across the Ravella at Lake Las Vegas while on a travel website looking for a Spring Break destination. The pictures depicted a "Tuscan" style village on a lovely blue lake. So I booked our room and hoped for the best. I was shocked by the number of people that had NEVER heard of Lake Las Vegas. Living in Southern California, it seems like an […] ideal location for couples and families. I began to get nervous. When we arrived, we were pleased with how beautiful the hotel and surrounding grounds were. The staff that checked us in and later offered us a much better room were efficient, helpful and extremely friendly. That was the case with everyone that worked in and around the hotel the week of our stay. The room was beautifully appointed with crisp, white linens, elegant furnishings and huge bathrooms. We were walking distance from the Village and Marina and sampled the restaurants. Our favorite was Auld Dubliner and Harry's. The restaurants are a bit pricey, but you can always make the short drive to Henderson to eat if you wish. My 13 year old daughter & friend enjoyed the freedom wander around on their own, feed the giant carp & ducks in the lake and rent a paddle boat. My husband enjoyed the casino & I loved the peace and quiet! The only problem during our week long stay was that the pool heater was not working, but the hotel management gladly refunded us the "Resort Fee" & offered to shuttle us to another hotel to swim. I guess I could have called the desk, but why should I have had to. We were busy out of the room and forgot to fix the problem. But so did they. Also the room next to us played music very loud […] on Saturday night. Like at 4 am. The only reason I did not call and report it to the desk was because the other people in my party slept though it. I would say that this property is indicative of the effects of the real estate market in Las Vegas. It was designed as a first class establishment but unable to support the services and conditions commensurate with this classification due to lack of demand. For the low rate we paid, we really cannot complain with the exception of the unheated pool. […] The staff stated that alot of their pool equipment was damaged by a flood but it was down for the three nights we were there. The pool, the spa, and the beach were extremely dirty when we arrived and gradually improved throughout our stay. The property itself was in better, but similar condition. For a new property there were signs of neglect and deterioration. On the positive side the staff was very friendly and helpful, the village is pretty and offers quite a few dining options all of which are reasonably priced. Go in knowing what to expect and you will not be disappointed - in other words, it is no longer the Ritz Carlton it once was. Read more

This place is so beautiful, it's a shame it doesn't live up to what it boast. We decided to do a 3 day STAYcation and this hotel seemed to have everything we wanted. Well, it did, it just didn't work!! We booked the hotel specifically for the pool and hot tub and fishing experience, which we purchased separately. The pool was not operational (pumps […] were not working) The hot tub was shut down because the motor did not work. Barely any of the shops were open. We were extremely disappointed. We could have stayed home for free and watched cable TV. Bummer!! Read more

What a beautiful resort. Quiet and clean. Just what we wanted. A bit further from the strip than expected but worth it. We arrived during slack time so the pool wasn't maintained but we still had a great time, thank you!!

We had a great time staff was great and the room was perfect great views from every window and balcony. Environment was great for the romantic get away for my wife and i. Will recomend to everyone i know. This will be an ongoing thing with us cant eait to go again

"From Ritz to Rundown"
I stayed at this property when it was owned by the Ritz, so my expectations of the hotel were high under the new ownership. Unfortunately, Ravella is not maintained the way the Ritz was. The staff was not friendly and attentive, the floors and carpets were dirty, there were spills and trash left on the floor, lights are out in the hallway, etc. It's […] a shame that in a short period of time, this once beautiful hotel has gone down hill. We don't reccommend that you book a room there, because they ended up CHARGING us an additional 50.00 fee for no reason what so ever! Over all it was a nice hotel although the layout was like a maze and they did not provide a map to get around.....
"Ravella Lake Las Vegas - Great off-strip stay"
Been going to Vegas for 35+ years and have not had a better place to stay. This resort/hotel is for those who like quiet off the strip luxury at reasonable rates. Staff was as good as they come, facitities too notch and clean. Will stay there again. The roads are great and just about anything in Las Vegas is only 20 to 30 minutes away.

The property was beautiful. However it was an eerie ghost town. We understand that it used to be a Ritz hotel that went bankrupt. They upgraded our room because it was empty. However they forgot to clean it we had to call twice to get them to come up at 10 p with three small children. There was not a concierge and the staff that we did see said that […] they had let many people go. No valet. We had to self park and take our own luggage up to the room. Excellent stay! Exuberant pet fee and the hotel restaurant was too pricey for family dining. Otherwise would love to return and recommended.
We stayed on a Friday night and the place was a ghost town. Someone in the room next to ours was smoking and our room smelled like an ashtray. With no one in the hotel I do not know why they woul put guests in adjoining rooms. Why not spread them out a little.
The doubled charged me. If I didn't look at my bank statements I would have paid double for the room.

"Ravella -a Gem of a hotel away from the Strip"
Great place to have a Ritz experience and a beautiful view of Lake Las Vegas--perfect place for a couples getaway without fighting the people and traffice on the LV Strip. The shopping and restaurants in Monte Lago village are quaint and the food is always good. Ravella hotel staff are friendly and the bedding is amazingly comfortable!

The hotel is located in a secluded area about 30 min away from LV. It was nice and quiet when we were there, fairly empty actually. It's next to a "village" with some restaurants and shops. Just 20 minutes from Las Vegas strip but quieter with more luxuries. Beautiful setting on the lake. Comfortable rooms, well appointed with amenities.

"Exceeded expectations"
Only small complaints were difficulty in finding our way into the hotel from the parking garage, criminally slow service at the irish pub, and paper-thin walls that allowed us up close and personal hearing of our next door neighbors...er...morning activities. Other than that, this was an unexpected joy. Updated, sparkling clean and classy rooms complete […] with separate shower and bathtub. Glorious balcony and outside areas. Service with a smile including people who said hello just because. All of the little details were thought of, including scented lotions and soap. Over all a great stay everyone who worked there with the exception of the valet was great! The hotel was beautiful although there were some issues with our room the shower door was coming loose, one of the cold water valves on the his and her sink was inoperable, the sink drain in the 1/2 bath drained slow, and the master vanity was cracked and sagging. We truely enjoyed our stay - the hotel is wonderful and the surroundings are beautiful. We enjoyed the pool, the marina and the "little village" nearby. It was nice to walk out to life music in the evening.
