Built in 1886 as a private palazzo, the Savoy Hotel building was converted into a hotel in 1920. It is a white Beaux Arts building with a grand entrance framed by 2 tall columns. The lobby retains its 1920's style with a high ceiling, marble floor, floral rugs and wall hangings, ornate mirrors, and Murano-glass chandeliers.
Set on a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Rome, the Granet al Roof del Savoy Restaurant provides fine dining with excellent Mediterranean dishes, drinks, celebrates Happy Hour, and serves afternoon tea.
