This is a nice place if you do not have a lot of money to spend! The Café next to it is a great deal for breakfast. If you do not want to be in the Downtown quarters Of Indianapolis this is a great place.

Seemed that there may have been "regulars" living in the hotel. No extra pillows or towels were available to us for having 3 people in one room. Hardly any of the hot breakfast was left during the times its supposed to be available, ended up going out for breakfast when we typically choose hotels with breakfast included due to the cost savings.

During my one (1) night stay, I had a cable outage, a failed taxi-call by front desk staff and it took nearly 15 minutes for hot water to get to my shower-you can't expect much with a Super8 but this is pretty basic stuff any hotel should be able to execute.

Everyone was helpful, unfortunately they did not have my reservation which I had made on the 866 number. Eventually, they found it. But that took some time. Customer service at the front desk was great. They provided excellent customer service. The hotel was old though. Had an old tube TV in the room. Parking lot was a sheet of ice and continue to be the next day. I was surprised when outside door wasn't locked...even more surprised when my room door didn't lock from the outside. Just needed a place to stay for the night, so I wasn't picky.But I wouldn't stay here more than one night.

We enjoyed our stay at the Super 8 in Downtown South Indianapolis. We found the employees to be very friendly and helpful! We could not have asked for anyone that was better! I was somewhat dissapointed in the cleaning of our room. The bathroom sink could have been cleaned better. The coffee pot was not cleaned and the used coffee filters were not taken […] out. Not that it was any problem, as I do it myself at home, so it wasn't any bother. I was just surprised to have them still in each day. But otherwise, we were satisfied with everything. Hotel was non-smoking but wreaked of smoke and the chemicals they use to cover up the smell of smoke. When I carried my luggage up to the second floor room (no elevator) there was someone hanging out in the hallway smoking near an open window. This is my 3rd stay here. The regular staff was very pleasant - helpful and seemed to enjoy working here. The manager - not so much. He had an irate customer when I was checking in - and his (the manager's attitude) was take it or leave it - we'll give you your money back - but we can't change your room to 2 beds. They room was clean as usual, the pillows […] - bring your own. The bathroom showed almost total neglect - the towel rack was held up by 2 screws - not the 4 that should be there. 2 of them had been pulled out of the wall and the rack tilted down so much I feared the towels would end up in the toilet. Stayed there for the Moto GP races. Although our non smoking room smelled a bit smokey (kicking on the AC for circulation took care of it), the room was clean, bed / sheets clean, clean bathroom with nice shower. Beds were stiff, pillows flat, room looked dirty and felt dirty and the window was glazed over with something. It very much felt like an hourly-hotel. Felt sleazy and would not have been surprised if there had actually been a mirror on the ceiling.

Their rooms had a musky/moldy smell. it was due to the air conditioning. when the a/c was on the floor was completely wet. need to work on their venting. the front desk woman was very nice, we switched to 2 different rooms and realized the problem was in probably every room

It was clean but in need of an upgrade. Looks old class inside and used. The staff was nice and the free breakfast was OK. Biscuits and gravy, NO eggs, cereal toast, milk, coffee, orange juice and a waffle maker with pastry. I would stay again if I was in the area and needed a room for the night.

Given what I have seen for reviews of this hotel, I was dreading heading over there after my 14+ hour bus ride to Indianapolis. I am so pleased that these negative reviews were wrong (incredibly so). I wonder what hotel they actually went to, because it could not have been the same hotel I was at. Given my mood heading into the hotel, I was looking for the faults I had seen listed in the reviews on here and fully expected to find them. Thankfully, I found none of what was intimated on here. the woman at the desk was very welcoming. It was convenient to park & get to the room. the room was spacious, etc. I would have preferred a few more choices for the breakfast (OJ didn't taste like OJ) but it was sufficient.

Check in was quick and simple. I asked for 2 rooms with king beds, and one was a king, the other was 2 doubles. Other than that, it was fine. I'd stay here again.

The blankets on our bed had burn holes a rips all over it. There was mold in the bathroom. The ceiling over one bed leaked. There was water dripping from the ceiling at the reservation desk and in the breakfast area. The staff there were very welcoming and nice.

The pictures are deceiving. It isn't at all what it actually looks like. It was so dirty that we didn't want to change when we got into bed and slept in our clothes. I didn't even want to take my shoes off. The bathroom was so bad that I didn't even shower.

This is an inexpensive motel, but our room was clean and tidy. The staff was cordial. The breakfast served was tasty and assorted. It runs like a decent hotel, not a motel. However, breakfast should be extended at least 30 min. And the chlorine in the pool was strong enough that I could smell it in the hallway and the room.
