"Times Square Nugget"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.
"Consistency. You can depend on it."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.
"Affordable Quickie in NY"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
We had a very good time and the hotel was close to work.
""Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.
"Nice hotel in the theatre district"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012

"Good stay"
Great free breakfast, hotel staff very helpful, free wifi, Chelsea is a nice area to stay in while visiting ny. Only negative, walls are very thin.

"Comfortable & Convenient"
Very comfortable beds and generous breakfast buffet. Conveniently located to easily get downtown or to midtown. Close to the High Line Park too. Conscientous and pleasant staff. Will definitely stay there again.
"Simple Chelsea pleasures"
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The people at the front desk were very helpful and gave me a great room. My room was very clean, and the experience was a great value. The neighborhood is convenient and feels safe. If only there were a few suites or adjoining rooms, I would stay with my family as well.

"Hampton Inn New York Chelsea"
We needed an overnight location convenient to Union Sq area and this was about 10 blocks uptown, reasonable distance for us. (Late night pizza around the corner - cheap and good with a steady stream of patrons.) Staff was courteous and helpful, room was NYC size with adequate closet, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. We were off the street side, so […] noise not a problem. Breakfast was included and there was reasonable choice. Only 1 of 2 elevators appeared to be operating, but wait time wasn't bad. Taxi at the ready when we checked out. Read more

"Comfortable Bed but Sheets and cover need work"
Good service, good location, comfy bed, good pillows. My only complaint was the sheets and bedspread was not good. I was tempted to go buy some for myself.

"Really, what else do you need?"
Great location near transportation and things to do, free breakfast (that doesn't suck) and Internet, and clean, comfortable rooms. In February the prices were cheap for NYC, which made it even nicer. Overall an excellent experience. I was impressed.
Nice room, great complimentary breakfast
The bed could have been less soft and turned in towards the middle: it was a queen bed. The location is fine; hard to get a cab in the rain, though!

"Great location, simple but great hotel"
This isn't a four-star hotel, but it's definitely worth the price and location. You are located right next to a lot of good restaurants and two different subway stops. Easy 10 minute ride up to Times Square and a 15 minute ride downtown on the 1. The rooms are actually kind of big for a NYC hotel and they were clean and comfortable. Again, it's not […] 4-star quality, but definitely worth it for a budget traveler who doesn't need that type of luxury. Read more
"Hampton Inn 24th St., NYC"
Front desk staff was very helpful and courteous. Young lady went so far as to step outside to hail 2 taxis for our group. Beds were very comfortable, plenty of hot water, and great shower head. Breakfast was great...lots to choose from.
"Customer Service"
Bill, the bellman was extremely helpful in helping us understand the NYC subway system as well as in assisting us with extra baggage when we left Chelsea area to commute to New Jersey spending one night in New Jersey before returning back to Chelsea area. It was great NOT to have to haul the extra suitcase up/down the subway system during our one night […] commute to New Jersey. Read more
great value, staff very helpful, clean, comfortable, wonderful breakfast, coffee, tea, fruit all day long. would definitely recommend.....can not be beat
"Hampton Chelsea -- clean, comfortable, convenient"
The Hampton was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and the free breakfast had a good variety and plenty of food. Great location with an easy walk to Times Square, Statue of Liberty, and many other sights and restaurants. We'll definitely stay there again.
I would recommend this hotel to my friends because it has a great location, the rooms are great (I had a room with skyview), the stuff is nice and for all of that the price is REALLY good.
"Excellent Location and Well Worth The Money"
This is my second stay at this hotel. On both stays I was happy with my check in as it was fast and the staff friendly. The room is comfortable and not as small as you would expect for a New York City Hotel. The location is perfect with taxis right on 6th Ave to TImes Sq and Macy's for less than US$10.00. Also the number 1 train to the village, mid […] town and uptown is just one block away. The internet service is good and fast and never had a problem with connection. The only down side is the house keeping. I would leave in the morning and return between 2.00 pm to 4.00 pm and my room would be half cleaned or not cleaned at all. But on every occassion the housekeeper would be on my floor and I would ask her to clean and she would finish or start. I think it happened all both stays every day, so they either do not have enough house keepers or they just are slow. But that is not a major issue. The free breakfast is good but the eating area is very small and if the hotel is full unless you go at 6.00 am you will not get a seat, the line will be long and the area very loud. So I take my breakfast up to my room. This is very good hotel to stay in. Look for when they have thier specials as I it could be kinda of pricy at time but worth every dollar. Read more
"Hampton Inn - Chelsea"
This is the perfect Chelsea neighborhood hotel. Nice scale to the place - intimate lobby and common areas. Rooms are stylish and very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast is more than enough in terms of choices and quality. Great views from either side of the building. Perfect location - in walking distance to so much.
"breakfast, clean & more"
Great location, minutes walk to 2 subway stops. Breakfast free & nice. P.M. coffee, tea, hot chocolate & cookies - nice. Very clean. Good size room for NYC at a great price.

"Hampton Inn - Chelsea"
During their off seasons, this hotel has some pretty amazing rates and the hotel includes free hot breakfast and WiFi! The location was absolutely perfect for my needs--close to subway and bus lines, yet just off the major thoroughfares (keeping street noise to a minimum for a restful night's sleep). The room itself is a little on the small side, but […] certainly large enough for me. It was clean and had everything I needed. The staff is friendly and helpful, too. All in all, an excellent place to stay while in Manhattan. Read more
"Hampton Inn, Chelsea, NY"
Very convenient to the places we were looking to go go. The price was one of the most reasonable in the city, especially for a Friday night. We will be back at the same time next year.

"Hampton Inn New York Chelsea - Very Pleased!"
We wanted our first trip to New York to be during Christmas. This is a very expensive time of year to find a hotel but of all the expensive rates, this was the lowest rate in a quality hotel we've come to love. Everything was neat, nice, clean and the people are very nice. It is close to the subway and Madison Square Garden if you need to take the train. […] Would definitely stay here again! Read more

Very helpful and knowledgable front desk!
"nice stay"
Location was excellent stay was ok but everything I'm the next room and hallway was audible.
"I'll be back!"
This could be THE best value in NY. The room was spacious (for Manhattan), the bed was comfortable, the internet access in the room was easy and FREE, the staff was courteous. On top of that, you get breakfast on the house (eggs, breakfast meat, pastries, cereal, coffee/tea). The price was great. It is the best value I ever had in NY. I will definitely […] recommend this hotel to all my friends and colleagues. Read more

Not only was everything walkable to my hotel such as restaurants, banking, Verizon, David Barton Gym and all fun Chelsea has to offer without having to drop $20-30 daily cabbing. The breakfast was at least $10-15 what would cost at a local diner and the staff was exceptional.
"Hampton Inn in the Chelsea area of NYC"
What a great value for NYC! My girlfriends were quite happy with the location and cleanliness of the rooms---too bad parking is so expensive in the city.
"Last minute trip."
Loved this hotel. Room was very clean. While the room was smaller than we would have liked it to be you can't beat the price and the fact that it's in the city I was able to overlook the size of the room. The view was awesome. And the breakfast bar was amazing. Normally I pass on most of the food at hotels because it usually isn't very appealing to […] the eyes, but the food here was awesome! If you stay here you will not regret it! I promise! Read more
"Great Service, Clean Room, Excellent Location"
Not much to say beyond that. Would stay here again as long as the rate is decent.
"Hampton Inn Chelsea -- close to midtown activities"
The Hampton Inn Chelsea proved a welcome oasis from the midtown madness, but within easy walking distance to those activities. The front desk help was friendly, courteous and helpful, and the room was comfortable and clean if a tad tight (apparently a midtown specialty), particularly in the bathroom. The main attraction was there were queen beds (again, […] very clean, with no bedbugs), which comfortably allowed three of us to stay over. And the breakfast was very satisfying, with waffles, oatmeal, cheese omelettes (actually kind of like McDonalds) and sausage. If the price was right again and my business in midtown, I'd gladly stay there again. Read more

"Good experience...just don't leave anything behind"
Great location -- right near the subway, Whole Foods supermarket, drug stores, restaurants, etc. Nice bed, nice TV, nice front desk staff. HOWEVER...I mistakenly left my phone charger behind, which the housekeeping staff apparently threw away even though they are supposed to turn it into lost and found. Front desk staff made a sincere effort to locate […] it...it's just too bad the housekeeping folks were so inconsiderate. Read more

Wonderful experience. Friendly helpful staff. Very clean room and hotel. Very conveniently located. Would certainly stay here again.
"Hampton Inn New York Chelsea"
My wife and 14 year old daughter and friend all enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was good, clean rooms and firm beds. Immediate neighbor hood appeared a bit rough but we are not from the "big city". We will recommend to our friends
"Hampton Inn Chelsea Nwe York"
Clean, comfortable, newly renovated rooms, good free hot breakfast, friendly helpful hotel staff. Rates are the lowest I found for Manhattan. I would definately stay here again.
"convenient, friendly, good complimentary breakfast"
The complimentary breakfast is as good as any I have seen, and although it is busy, there is always ample room to sit. The front desk staff is friendly and was helpful in arranging my airport transportation. Two computers are provided in the lobby for picking up e-mail and printing boarding passes. The room was clean with enough drawer and closet space. […] Good bathroom amenities. This may not be a luxurious hotel, but the price was right and I was totally happy with it. Read more

"Pleasant Stay"
I was extremely happy with my stay at the Hampton Inn. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. For being in the city, and next to the street the room was quiet and I got great sleep. The breakfast had great options... and there was tea/coffee all day long. A nice treat. The only semi-complaint was the Fitness Room, where the equipment was probably […] 10 years old. I was told that they are renovating that space in the next year. I will stay there again! Read more
"Very Pleased"
First time to stay in Manhatten and it was great. The location was great and the staff was very friendly. Could not ask for more for what we paid for this room,
"Quiet area and comfortable beds"
We wanted to stay in a quiet area but not be too far from the city. This was so quiet and the beds were great. The subway is right arond the corner.Nice restaurants within walking distance as well. We felt very safe even when walking back at night. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. I'd stay there again.
