"Nice hotel, very clean, friendly staff."
It was easy to check in, parking was plentiful. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. We asked for a small room refrigerator and it was at our door in 15 minutes. "Close to light rail"
A very nice hotel with very accommodating staff. We got there late and the kitchen was suppose to be closed, however, they kept it open for us. We were attending Bronco football game and the light rail, which is walking distance, allowed us direct access.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel was safe and convenient to the event I was attending. There was nothing special about the hotel. Room never really got cooled off. I found a dirty sock that the previous guest left in the room...yuck!!! Food was VERY average. The bellman was unavailable when I arrived to help me take my luggage to my room. "Messed up reservations, hotel ok otherwise"
When we arrived apparently the computers were down, so we were unable to check in. They did provide a room to try and fix the problem, but it was a single bed room. I was with my family of 5, so this was very tight. They offered a roll away and crib, but it took them almost an hour to get to the room, and multiple calls to the front desk. The next day […] the only thing they could offer to fix the error was complimentary breakfast...which was included in our reservation from hotels.com anyways (their computers did not reflect that). "Expected more from Marriott"
I chose this hotel because I was attending a conference. The conference area is great but I don't believe most people actually stay at the hotel. Pros: Comfy bed, great fitness center. Cons: Refrigerator in room not installed properly, Internet was an extra cost of $14.95 per day, toilet clogged easily maybe due to poor sewage pipes, faint sewage smell, […] and everything was for sale. Overall, it was an ok place to stay if you are tired and think Motel 6 is scary. However, I turned my conference into a vacation to Denver with my wife for three days so it was not worth the money for what I expected to be a higher end hotel, as the Marriott name used to stand for. "Quick weekend trip"
The hotel is perfect for a quick weekend trip. We were there for a volleyball tournament and it was wonderfully quiet considering the freeway was a stones throw away. Warm decor. Tasty food. We loved the hotel, however, upon booking a double deluxe package (with breakfast and $25 IKEA Card included), I arrived to find that the hotel sold too many rooms and did not honor our original booking. My friend and I ended up sleeping in a king instead (without breakfast and the gift card). Good thing we knew each other well. We stayed at the Marriott for our friends' wedding and we had a great time. Almost all the wedding guests stayed at this hotel and the staff was very accommodating. I would say we shutdown the bar area both nights we were there and the staff went out of their way to ensure we had a good time. The rooms were nice, and although fairly basic, were quite comfortable. The bed was comfy, plenty of closet space, and the bathroom had everything you needed. The hotel also provided a shuttle to any place within an 8 mile radius, which was fantastic. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

My brother-in-law chose this hotel for his wedding. It is in a great area, located near some great shopping and restaurant choices. The hotel food was very pricey, and it lacked an outdoor pool for how large the hotel is. One of the days no one even came to clean our room. The staff was very friendly. The room was average, pretty pricey for what you get. Kind of disappointing for a Marriott..
"Using hotel for wedding guests"

We booked the Marriott for our daughter's wedding 06-08-14. We booked a block of rooms 08-12-13. We were having out of town guests and everyone needed to stay at the hotel because we lived too far away. We have always stayed at the Marriott even when we go abroad. We ended up booking 20 rooms and paying for all of them. We inquired about early check-in and my husband requested that we all be put on the same floor. Not one of our requests was honored. No early check in. Rooms were not ready even by 3pm which was after the rehearsal luncheon. Welcome bags- I had welcome bags for the guests. I was assured that the bags would be given to the guest upon arrival. I brought the correct number on Thursday and all the rest the morning of Saturday 06-06-14. Over and over again I was assured the bags would be given out at check in. When I inquired about the bags not being given out I was told that they would be delivered to the rooms. Monday morning when I checked out there were still "welcome bags" in the office. I had gone through the trouble of stapling the name, confirmation number and day of arrival on all the bags. When I asked for the remaining bags not given out they had the names and confirmation numbers ripped off the bags. Why? Spoke to the manager Brian. I have yet to receive an answer and if the problem is solved. Lindsey O'Dell the wedding room specialist had told my husband that they would be able to hand the "welcome" bags out. Lindsey O'Dell does not work on weekends. Hello?! Isn't that when most weddings occur? Who ever heard of a wedding specialist who works Monday through Friday 8:30 to 4:30 and not the weekends when the weddings are scheduled. Marriott could save a lot of money by hiring a part-time person who doesn't mind working weekends. Monday morning- I had scheduled a going away brunch for departing guests. We booked both dining rooms for the departing guests. Only one room was ready. No Lindsey to be found. I had to ask to have the other room opened and had to start moving chairs, cups, glassware, flatware, napkins etc. Then the rest of the staff seemed to understand what was going on and helped me. Lindsey O. asked me Monday morning how many guests were going to be at the brunch? I did not know since the weekend had incurred bad weather, tornado warnings, delays in flights and constant rain. I had booked 20 rooms. The easy assumption would be 20 rooms. Most rooms have 2 guests. That equals 40 people for brunch. I really do wonder if that weekend if there were as many people as myself that booked 20 rooms for 2 nights and had poor service? We chose the Marriott because in the past we have always had great service. This is one Marriott I would not use especially for wedding guests.
"Better off camping"

We were coming to town for a wedding. The wedding party chose this hotel and we obliged by staying. Before we got there I thought the cost was too much but the rest of the family was staying there. Making the reservation was fine. Two rooms one king one double. Booked in April. Called a couple months later to confirm and I was informed we did not have a room for all five days we would be there. Not acceptable. Got it figured out. Because of this I called back again the month before still do not have all five nights. This should not be a problem with a room block. Got it figured out again. Called the week before same issue. I should have known this would set the pace for our stay. The night before I had to cancel the king room for my MIL. The gal on the phone took care of it and said she would send an email. No email. Called when we got to town to see if we could check in early. I was informed I still had two rooms. I cancelled the second room again. Checked in at 3pm our room was not ready but they did not have a problem charging my Amex immediately. Still had two rooms on file for me. I am an extremely patient person but for gods sake get it together. There is no reason why I should have to ask or follow up that many times on any issue. Waited in the lobby for what they said would be a few minutes. Forty minutes later I went to check and of course the room was ready and we were not informed. Finally got my exhausted family in our room to realize all the linens were filthy. We have stayed at many Marriott and know many people who work for the company and they were appalled by the pictures I sent them. Housekeeping brought up more linens that were sufficient but not up to our standards, meaning no stains. As if this wasn't enough our key card would only work for one swipe and then it would stop working, Naturally when we got home late and I'm trying to get our child in bed. Never again. I should have chosen a different hotel. Lesson learned.
"Perfect choice in the Park Meadows area"

We spent 3 nights at the Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows and would definitely return when back in the area. The rooms were spacious with a choice of pillows and the bathroom amenities were typical for a Marriott. The front desk was efficient at check-in and able to provide offsite restaurant recommendations. We used room service for breakfast one day and the delivery was prompt and the food was delivered hot, which is not necessarily always the case with room service. It's always nice to find a property where customer service is a priority.

This hotel service is very good.. but when I pay I was charged twice and I was told by the manager that it was there mistake and offer me a $50 dollar gift card after they overdraft my bank account and I told him that at lest $100.00 after all I stay 4 day he agree with that till now I haven't received anything this happen 2 months ago and I never got my gift card I'm going back to Denver but I don't think that I would like to stay here again not when they don't take care of there customers after there errors I do not recommend this hotel and if you stay here make sure you don't get charge twice..

The Denver Marriott South at Park Meadows sets the bar for all other hotels to aspire to. I stayed here many times throughout 2013. The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable. General areas of the hotel such as the lobby are well maintained. What makes this hotel a gem and crown of the Marriott brand, however, is the staff. With the exception of one surly reception person who I had an issue with on just one occasion, every other member of staff I interacted with at reception, in the restaurant, the concierge lounge, housekeeping and Brian the GM displayed such a commitment to service, service, service! They will do anything they can to cater to the convenience and comfort of their guests. (I did once however witness another guest being very unhappy that there was a power failure, which understandably the hotel staff are powerless to resolve!:) I truly enjoyed all of my stays here and hope to have an opportunity to return!

I spent about nine hours at this hotel while on a business trip, so while I didn't get to test out the amenities, I did have a very good experience. My flight was delayed, so I arrived at the hotel just after 1 a.m. Parking was free and plentiful even though the hotel was sold out, and the check-in process was quick and painless. The biggest perk: The bar was still open because a wedding party was keeping it busy, so I was able to treat myself to a local Colorado beer and wind down before bed. Nothing really noteworthy to say about the room -- it was a typical hotel room with a decent amount of space. I docked this hotel a star though because the sheets were not exactly as clean as they could have been. They were clearly washed, but I guess they just didn't come out super clean.
"Worse stay ever at a Marriott"

I have stayed here before and am familiar with Marriott properties - I expect a level of cleanliness and professionalism. This was the worst stay I've ever had at a Marriott anywhere in the world. The bathtub and towels were filthy. So bad it made me question everything in the room. I did voice my complaints to the front desk and received a handwritten note and a starbucks card. However, my access to the concierge lounge was disabled. Perhaps a coincidence but it was not a good way to end my stay. I've been a loyal Marriott customer for years and will continue to be but I will never stay at this particular Marriott property again.
