"Quick resolution of Noise Problem"
Beautiful room and great amenities. Staff were friendly & very helpful. They quickly resolved a problem with noise from a bar below our room by moving us up to a higher floor and a much nicer room. Would definitely stay at this location if we return to Glasgow. Excellent rating!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"great over night stay"
I was not expecting such a spacious and well equipped apartment. We were only there for one night, but this could easily be a comfortable base for a longer visit to Glasgow.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Dirty noisy smelly"
Dirty, smelly, noisy. After having booked a hotel that for 2 nights cost the same as a month's rent in my London flat, I am not here to say 'well done' for providing a basic service. Upon entering the room we were overwhelmed by the smell of Indian spices. Our room was above pubs (more of that later) so the smell could seemingly not be blamed on the […] curry house which is situated at the opposite end of the hotel, but on the cleanliness. We made to open the window in the living area and I was disgusted to see the colour of the would-be-white frames = black! I took a wipe to a section of it and found that they needed elbow grease (suggesting long time neglect) but that they did come up clean. We pretty quickly took a walk to the nearest shop and bought a packet of scented candles to mask the lingering imbedded smell that was becoming hard to ignore. The hotel is in a central location and boasts that it has been newly refurbished - to the people with the purse strings in the Fraser suites chain - go back to the Glasgow site, and invest in double glazed windows. What an oversight. You can hear every conversation, car horn, bottle smash, whistle, 3am argument, band warm up etc. Guaranteed that when we did get a break from the noise outside the room upstairs would come alive. Squeaky floorboards and the sounds of a shower from above. Ridiculous. We discovered the standing fan in the wardrobe and were grateful as it was hot in the bedroom (no air con). We did open the window as the noise was inevitable by this point, only to be met with the smell of cigarettes consistently wafting into the room from the bars below. So forget the window, on the fan went. The fan was terribly noisy. It clicked with each turn and it sounded like the clogs inside it were grinding to make it move. Two uncomfortable, stressful and frankly unacceptable nights later and I leave knowing I will not venture back. To anyone reading this review thinking 'oh it's just noise' it's not. "Perfect location - and a carpark nextdoor!"
We stayed here for one night during the Commonwealth games in a 3rd floor room overlooking the main street. The room was perfectly clean, very comfortable, well equipped and would suit longer stays as large enough - it is definitely a suite and not just a hotel room. The staff were very friendly on check in and check out - we didn't need to ask for […] any assistance throughout but that's what we wanted. The location is absolutely perfect, the car park next door so no trawling through the streets with luggage (or shopping on the way home) or fighting with the trams etc. Granted, it was a little noisy in the morning but it's on a main street and we had the window open, so that's not surprising. It didn't stop us sleeping though and just added to the fact that we were right in the middle of things. Would definitely stay here again. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good hotel right in the centre where we wanted"
All was excellent - except it was noisy - please note it was not the hotel's fault - we had to have the windows opened as it was unusually hot and being in the town centre the noise carried - again NOT the hotels fault.Genuine Expedia guest review
Fourth time I have used the Fraser Suites as a base of operations for further travel. Large well appointed suites with a very helpful staff. An oasis of tranquility in the hustle and bustle of a major metropolis located in the heart of the city. Convenient to all modes of transportation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"No four star"
Noisy, especially when rubbish bins were emptied at night outside window. Awkward room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Cenral Location"
The Fraser Suites is located in almost the centre of Glasgow. It's walking distance to many great sights and pubs. You are able to get the real Glasgow experience within walking distance and then stay at a very nice hotel. The rooms were spacious and the beds were heavenly!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Lovely rooms, but noisy"
I stopped here two nights in June. Both days were very hot, which when visiting Scotland is usually an unexpected bonus but not so on this occasion. We found that it was either too hot in the room or, if we put the fan on or opened the windows too noisy. The venue below was not the problem just the traffic and general Street noise. A ceiling fan or […] air conditioning would have helped but probably unnecessary most of the year and we were just a bit unfortunate. The rooms and service were both excellent. This apartment was in a great location, had great facilities, modern, bright and clean. The only downside for me was that there was no air conditioning and as it was a hot day I felt stifled. We did find a fan in a wardrobe which helped a bit. Breakfast was not great and I would only book it if it was part of the package, don't pay over £6 as the selection […] was poor. "Life at the top"
When booking this hotel I didn´t have any idea what type of hotel it is. When there we found out that this was an apartment hotel and we got an apartment on the top floor. Some 600+ sq.ft. with the possibility of making some light meals, like breakfast. Or when lazy there is a beakfast-room if you want that instead. A very comfortable king-size bed […] for sleeping and a "living-room" for summing up the day, planning for the next and watch som TV. The number of restaurants in the neighbourhood would take quite some time to sample but with the help of the staff we were directed to very good restaurants selected on the basis of our preferences when it comes to food. Location walking distance to, what we experenced as, city center. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Best Place to stay in Glasgow"
We arrived Friday the 21st March to a very warm welcome from the receptionist our room was fantastic very clean and tidy. Not a single complaint about the room. Staff are very nice and looke after us well. The location was perfect walking distance to all the shops ,bars restaurants and nightclubs. The bars around the hotel are ridiculously expensive […] but the good priced nightlife is only a stones throw away. Would definitely recommend this place and if we are ever back in Glasgow again we will defo be staying here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Smart elegant building with pleasant helpful staff and well laid out rooms. Only a short walk to town. Only downside was the car parking facilities which is public and fairly expensive (discount for hotel guests is available however)Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location and hotel, shame about the noise!"
Fraser Suites is very well located in the centre of town and a stones throw from the Glasgow Concert Hall where we were staying. The suite is impressive with full kitchen area, utilities, en suite bathroom and lounge area. The problem began when we wanted to get some sleep. The constant noise of traffic, shouting and singing from outside made sleeping […] difficult and fitful. It did calm down by about 3 in the morning, but really part of a good hotel experience is to have a good night's sleep, and I can't say we got that. Double glazing and I'd give the hotel 5 stars! "Great hotel, just a bit noisey"
We were very pleasantly surprised with the size of room, it was apartment style with stove top, microwave, fridge etc. Very nice room, the only issue was that the sound from the street was very noticable. Didn't bother us too much as I can sleep through anything, but could be an issue for others. Would suggest that they do more to sound proof the windows. […] Very pleasant stay overall. "Unexpected value for money"
Located next door to Glasgow's vibrant Merchant City complex, the hotel was not only modern, clean and fairly friendly but offered exceptional value out of season - we expected a nice room but opened the door to find we had been given a large suite/apartment. Great hotel right in the heart of the city!Genuine Expedia guest review
Fraser Suites - Great suite with Bedroom and separate large kitchen and sitting area - very comfortable. Noisy at night - probably because it was Christmas Saturday and room faced onto Argyle Street.and neighboring room residents had a party in their room. "Huge rooms but noisy"
Great hotel in the centre on town but the walls were paper thin so I could hear the person on the floor above stomping all night. Huge spacious, well equipped rooms but single glazed windows can make it cold; I'm glad the heating was working!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
A relaxing night and good base for shopping, pubs and restaurants in the Merchant City area. Facilities in room very good. Friendly staff at check-in. Only issue was TV did not work on all channels. Called reception and they talked me through how to fix it. I had no success and after another call the chap came up and fixed it for me. A good night sleep […] on a comfy bed. "Excellent hotel and location!!"
Great hotel and service from check in to check out........Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Suite is spacious. Central location. Had first floor suite situated directly above pub, live music was done by midnight so not an issue but not for the early to bed traveler!!! Would definitely stay again, plenty of places nearby to stock up if you want to make the most of kitchen facilities but loads of places to eat and drink if you don't....remember […] it's downtown Glasgow not a country retreat... Wouldnt recommend. Very noisy room between the local bar and traffic. Female memeber of staff on the front was less than interested to put it politely.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The apartment was absolutely spotless, and contained anything you could possibly need. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and approachable. I would definitely stay at Fraser Suites again and would recommend to anybody. A lovely apartment type hotel with all the amenities you could want. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We loved our several days' stay here. The rooms are beautiful and the only negative is potential street noise. How about double glazing on the street side? It was a real plus to have such a nice well-equipped kitchen. We would definitely return.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
