"Very convenient to convention center"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Friendly, competent staff, beautiful public spaces, great location if you're attending a conference at the Washington Convention Center. Room was a bit dated, had no safe or fridge, merely adequate bathroom.

The Fahrenheit Restaurant - This restaurant is on the top floor of the historic incinerator building and showcases exquisite American cuisine.
The Lobby Lounge - The lounge welcomes guests with a grand first impression of soaring ceilings, wood-burning fireplace, and the intimate ambience of a European boutique hotel.
Degrees Bar & Lounge - With exposed brick walls, black slate floors, and a sleek 25-seat bar, Degrees is inspired by the lounges of the 1930s and 1940s. The bar offers a classic cocktail menu with a contemporary twist, including the signature Fire Red Martini.
The Chimney Stack Dining Room - Undoubtedly one of the most unusual dining venues in town, this room is at the base of the 130-foot chimney, with a towering view through the glass ceiling. The room is designed for intimate dinners of two to fourteen people.

Georgetown is DC at its most cosmopolitan. Here, Beltway bigwigs hold court at fine restaurants along M Street, a bustling shopping thoroughfare. Twentysomethings network at its trendy bars. Georgetown University dominates its west side, while rival George Washington University takes a chunk of Foggy Bottom. That area includes offices to major law firms, corporations, and the World Bank.
see all hotels in WashingtonLove ritz Carlton. This is a boutique hotel. Could be more updated. Rooms are a bit old and dirty. Service in restaurant for breakfast was so slow despite the fact that no one was there! Also, despite the fact I bought the stay on hotel.com they still charged my credit card the same amount. Total mistake.
