Hampton Inn Bedford / Burlington - Billerica

Could not find this hotel, website says it is in Burlington but if using GPS you have to put Billerica or it takes you to the mall instead! Breakfast was make your own waffles, yogurt, cereal, fruit. Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate available fresh in the lobby area 24/7. Bed was very comfortable and room clean. I would stay here again.

We walked in to a building that was missing part of the floor, due to renovations in progress. Staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast room was temporarily moved to a conference room, which sounds funny but it actually worked. We ate a hearty breakfast including scrambled eggs and fresh fruit. Stayed here for a week during a certification class. It worked well that the training was only a few minutes drive away, because there isn't a whole lot going on right around the hotel. Oh my gosh, I should have known when I checked in and found ear plugs on the night stand that it was not a good sign. The heater was resonating and buzzing throughout the night. Beurtifully decorated & maintained lobby & living/eating areas as well as rooms. Being welcomed by elegant, cheery holiday decorations was most welcome on a sleeting, damp New England evening. Topped off by snack & hot drinks available 24/7. Not only was the bed very comfortable but also the sofa, perfect for both work and unwinding.

The hotel was very clean. However, my room, #135, was in a bad location. There was a grinding noise every 30 seconds coming from the mechanical room. I guess this is why they supply earplugs in the room.

Looking at the pictures online of what a standard king was, I thought it would be okay for my family. It looked like a king bed with a pull out couch, which would be a little tight for four adults but okay, since the website let me book for that many. We talked into the room, and it was a bed with a regular chair and a foot rest. This was not going […] to work. My mother went down to the front desk and politely asked them if there was a roll away bed that we could use to for our stay since we clearly indicated that there would be four adults. They didn't have a roll away and they said there were no doubles available for the price we paid for the room. Within in an hour, a manager called up to our room and changed our room to a double full bed and a pull out couch. We were appreciative of the staff to help me our stay as comfortable as possible. On short notice, I needed a hotel room in the Bilerica area. I found The Hampton Inn via Hotels.com and called to make the reservation as I required two queen size beds and not a king - all of the internet pictures showed only rooms with single King Size beds. Excellent phone service was given to me and I reserved a room that the agent assured me had […] two queen beds. I arrived in the evening and the room was clean and quiet. While the hotel did not have an on-site restaurant which would have made the stay perfect, a restaurant with minimally adequate food was within walking distance. The food and service was forgettable but they served an OK children's menu and a had drinks. They closed really early, too. The breakfast buffet was very good - I would however recommend that they serve scrambled eggs instead of western omelets and bacon and sausage instead of ham as these choices limited the selection of reasonable breakfast options for a child. Every staff member I came into contact with was professional and helpful. The only major complaint I could give is the location is difficult as ongoing road construction made entering and leaving complicated as my GPS wanted me to go in directions that were unavailable. Excellent hotel if you can find it. Usual excellent Hampton Inn quality of service (including an outstanding breakfast) and facilities. Difficult to find because it sits back off Middlesex Tpk on a side road called Middlesex Turnpike which is very confusing to a GPS and the only sign is a rather small nondescript multiple business sign sitting by the […] turn-in road. Its actually directly across from the DoubleTree Hotel entrance, which is much easier to spot. The current extensive road construction on Middlesex Trpk right in front of the hotel does not help either. One cannot follow Middlesex Trpk north to the hotel; the road is closed about a half mile below the hotel and one has to turn left on to Burlington Rd (62) go a couple of blocks to Crosby Road, turn right until you hit the construction of Middlesex Trpk, then right again to the hotel on left. The road is open (for now) going south on Middlesex Trpk toward the Burlington Mall. Also can take Highway 3 (which paralells Middlesex Trpk), to exit 26 to the first light east of 3, which is Crosby Road. Once you get there the hotel is great. Read more
