We were in Springfield for a sports tournament and spent 3 nights at the hotel. Although certainly not the newest nor most luxurious hotel around, it was very quiet, clean, had the correct amount of amenities and everything that needed to work, worked well (plumbing, lights, heater, etc.). The wireless setup was kind of offbeat, but to be expected since the corridors are all exterior and there's no central spot for a single access point. It was certainly fast enough. Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast, so can't comment on that. Staff was great and I would certainly re-book if I were ever in the area again.

i have stayed here 2 x's in the last two months. The room is very clean and comfortable. Very basic though but a great value. The location is quiet and somewhat close (1 mi) to several very good restaurants. I will definitely stay there again next month !

We chose a Hampton in for our family sightseeing stay in Springfield because we knew what to expect from Hampton. We were not disappointed. The rooms and beds were comfortable, the pool was warm, and the breakfast was free and had plenty of choices for our family. Those were the Pros. The Cons: It was farther from the historic areas of Springfield than […] advertised. On the website it said it was about 5 miles, but on our GPS it was more like 8. Not a huge difference, but there was not a really convenient way to travel from downtown to the hotel. So it took a good 20-30 minutes between these points. There were also not a large selection of restaurants close so we had to drive a ways to dinner as well. Finally, we looked for a hotel with a suite because they are more comfortable with our family of 5, but cheaper than getting two rooms. This Hampton advertised "Studio Suites" which are not really a suite as much as it is an extra large room with a sofa bed. This worked, but doesn't allow for as much privacy as we might have wanted since two of our kids are teenagers. Overall, I would recommend this hotel, as long as you don't mind driving and finding your way around. Read more

Great place to stay while in Springfield. Staff was nothing but friendly and helpful in every way. Hotel was very clean and the pool area was very nice. I would not hesitate to stay again. One of my more pleasant stays at any hotel.

Everything was fine. Room was average. We had a suite and used the pullout couch which was not great. My 9-year-old son slept on it and complained that it was uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet was skimpy - only egg choice was western omelette which is not exactly kid friendly, they ran out of sausage, huge line for the one waffle machine and oatmeal […] was beyond bland. But we didn't stay there to get a free breakfast so it didn't really affect our overall satisfaction. We stay at Hamptons because their suites are perfect for our family of 5 meaning no one sleeps on the floor and we don't have to pay for an extra room. Plus the kids loved the pool. Read more

We were in town for a class reunion, the room was very spacious, the staff were very accommodating. The stay would have perfect except for a fairly rowdy wedding party that were very loud till very late at night, perhaps those rooms should be grouped away from others??

This hotel was very clean and accomodating. The breakfast in the morning was good with a variety of items. The only negative that the swimming pool is very heavily chlorinated - our eyes burned the minute we walked into the pool area!

This is a brand-new hotel -- the room was very, very clean and well-appointed. The front-desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful, too. This hotel is near many conveniences. Probably will ALWAYS stay here when I go to Springfield.

Comfortable hotel, good hot breakfast with a lot of variety. When we checked in, one phone wasn't working in the room, and they had someone up to fix it within 5 minutes. Same response time when a toilet clogged.

I stay in alot of Hotels d/t work and family living away, my husband and I both feel this was definitely one of the top 5 we have stayed in. Staff was extremely friendly. We were told it had been opened for 8 years, looked brand new..will go back
