I might think twice again before i stay here. My father is a handicap and they put us on the 4th floor. Then of course, the elevator breaks down and the front desk person said that is was NOT the hotel's responsibility that it broke. Well as i agree that things happen but, it was the tone of the voice from the front desk clerk that i did NOT like AT ALL!. I also was not impressed with the breakfast food in the morning and i think they could step it up just a bit considering the price you pay. I think management needs to reevaluate some of it's staff and the people who maintain the hotel.

The area is definitely ghetto. Walked in and had to stand at the desk for 10 minutes before someone got off the phone. Nobody even acknowledged me, they just looked at me once in awhile shaking their head as if I cared what the phone calls were about. Check in was quick but when we went to the room, it was a disaster. Hadn't been cleaned yet. Went back up to the desk and they gave us a new room and a complimentary water and cookies to say sorry, which was nice. The bed was comfortable and the room did have a refrigerator and microwave, which was nice. However, people and their kids and dogs tended to hang out in the hallways all day. Crying kids, loud adults, etc. It is definitely for you if you're used to the ghetto.

Tania is the greatest asset to your hotel. She was wonderful from the first time I called about making the reservation until the time we checked out. She was so accommodating to all of my husband's ridiculous requests and I hope you realize what you have in her. Also, the rest of the staff was warm and welcoming and even the security officer stayed with us while we loaded our motorcycle on the trailer and helped make sure we were safe. Thank you.

My family and I arrived around 3:30am. The night Front Desk clerk, Cristian, was very pleasant and quickly got us situated in our rooms. I was not comfortable with the assigned "adjoining" room (with another unknown person), so he efficiently located another room for me. The breakfast buffet was nice. Wait staff was very pleasant. The area was clean. The food was nicely presented. Beds and pillows are very comfortable! ps. Diners and Shoppers Only -- Several restaurants and a first-class shopping mall are right across the street.

so they lock their doors at 730 for some reason so if you're checking in past that time don't expect a warm welcome. This also tells you the type of neighborhood you're in. I had to book this place last minute and if I had a choice I would have cancelled and rebooked elsewhere, friendly enough help staff, there was someone sleeping in the lobby however, (very awkward) and we had to keep it down due to this. Felt like I was not on US soil during my stay. Traveler beware.

The hotel was ok. A fridge in the room as well as glasses for drinking rather than foam cups would have been nice. Also little packages of body cream and tea would have made a difference in the rating. Although we booked for three people, there were only two towels. The breakfast also was ok, but jams and peanut butter would have been nice. Although there was a nice herbal tea selection, just regular tea was lacquing. Coffee could also taste better. Little details but ones that make a difference.

Having stayed at this property a few times, it was disappointing to encounter rude staff and a bug crawling in the bathroom. If you are going to increase your rate due to an event, you should also increase your level of service. It was definitely not worth what we paid.

We booked 2 non-smoking bedrooms for us and grandparents. But the bedding in grandparents room has very bad cigar smell. Grandma can't stay in her bed and had to share with grandpa.

The hotel was the best rate in the Miami area. The hotel has excellent staff and custome service. They also served a good breakfast. Sadly the room we stayed in needed to be fumigated. We made the front desk aware and they took care of it and compensated us one night.

On the first day of our stay the only elevator broke down, when we left it was still inoperable, had to go 2 flight of stairs up and down (it was good that we were at the second floor). The room was comfortable but it had roaches (I killed 4). The staff at the reception and service was very good, apologetic for what happened. When we were leaving the cleaning lady insisted in carrying my suitcase down, I tried to do it but she was very insistent and it was a great help.

We arrived after 4pm and were checked in quickly. However walking down the hallway to our room there were 2 maids in our way speaking another language. We had to ask them to move the cart so we could get by and when we used our key to our room and started to open the door they told us we couldn't go in because they hadn't cleaned the room. We went back downstairs with our bags and told the front desk who didn't seem to be concerned at all and didn't apologize, they just said they would check into it. We sat down in the lobby that had a chair with a big wet spot stain on it. We were never spoken to again until 30 minutes later when they said we could go up. Multiple times (we stayed 3 days) they forgot to refresh the coffee in the coffee maker and then ran out of Milk and butter at the morning breakfast. We stayed there because it was near where we were visiting and we had stayed and were members of Choice Hotels. I prefer the Comfort Inn brand rather than this one. I would not stay there again. Don't get that you need to make your customers happy and your customers keep you in business.
