"Don't Do It!"
I don't usually write reviews, or even complain about bad experiences with hotels, but this one I felt compelled to tell you to stay away! We arrived late with three children, and had to haul all our stuff up to the third floor for our two-bedroom suite. When we walked in, it was clearly a "smoking" room even though we requested non. The air conditioning […] was leaking condensation so bad, that some genius had put a flowerbed trough underneath to catch all the water, except that it was full and overflowing and soaking the carpet. The general cleanliness of the room was filthy, including finding two sharp objects on the carpet, including one nail. We didn't even want to shower. Now, we WOULD have left had it been earlier in the day, but it was so late and my children were tired after driving 14 hours in a car. So we stayed, and I complained to desk staff upon checkout that the room was terrible, upon which he told me that we should have asked for a different room. How about just make sure the room is in good shape before giving it to us? That poor desk clerk, I could tell even he didn't want to work there. He knew he was part of a bad setup. "cma fest vacation"
From the moment we walked into the lobby we were greeted with great hospitality. The staff was very helpful and curtious. when we entered our room we were very surprised! "Horrible, Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!"
Upon arrival, the rates were jacked up due to the CMAs being in town, checked into room, it was dirty, unkempt, like someone was still in there, clerk came up and stated, "This should not be like this" gets another room check into that room it was filthy, the AC did not work properly and it smelled like an ashtray! Response by Nashville Airport Inn & Suites What a strange comparison of view from our hotel considering the reviews above your seem to be well satisfied with our rooms and hotel.. I guess different people view life and situations from varies perspectives.. some from a positive perspective some from a negative.. as yours rightly is. Most people adore our firm beds.. actually it is better for your back then soft pillow tops.. i have you know that all our beds are SEALY beds so if you have a problem with firmness.. I'm afraid you did indeed pick the wrong hotel.. CMA week was our busiest week with every room accounted for.. there were a shortage of rooms so some had to stay in some smoking rooms.. it was either that or sleep in ones car. My front desk at least, offered you an alternative room.. it was the best that anyone could do, under those conditions of the CMA busy week Finally, it's your prerogative to recommend or not our hotel.. My recommendation for you is to stay next year at the brand new Omni Hotel for CMA down town, that way will have your nice plush soft comfortable beds for the small price tag of about $1500 per night.
I know they were busy but I made reservations like 2 months before and they didn't make them till last min and I got a handy cap room that just sucked. "OK if youre on a budget"
Broken door latch, broken toilet, cigarette burns in carpet, tub didn't drain properly, overall condition was poor but room seemed clean enough and it was cheap and convenient to the airport. We booked with the Ramada back in December. When we arrived in June, ownership had changed. We went to our room and it reeked of cigarette smoke. We reserved a non-smoking room. We have an asthmatic child, and could not stay in this room. My husband went to the front desk to see if we could get a different room. We looked a the pull-out because one of my daughters would have used it and it had all kinds of food on the mattress and there was food and trash underneath the pull-out couch. We decided to leave when the phone rang and the front desk had "magically" found us another room. We looked at the room. It certainly wasn't the Ritz and we wouldn't stay again, but this room was cleaner. The pull-out was horribly flimsy with springs sticking out of it. My husband did NOT have a restful night on that pull-out and his back was aching. We decided to stay because it was "Fan Weekend" and every other place was sold out. "Ratings were misleading"
We were highly disappointed with the condition of the rooms for our one night stay. The frig was literally missing from our room as was the smoke detector. The furniture was old and gross. Stayed here one night with a few buddies (all in our 20's) after catching a Blackhawks game in Nashville. Room was clean, comfortable, and cheap. It's not a great great place by any stretch, but wasn't dirty and no hookers or drug dealers hanging out so it served it's purpose for us. Quick stay for early flight. Needed to print some documents for flight. The printer was out of ink. The 2nd shift desk clerk seamed to be helpful until he left with some friends and came back. He then seamed to become incoherent to what I was asking about. He called the manager about the problem after closing the hotel's e-mail and didn't know the password […] to get back on. The management and staff of this facility were incompetent at best. Though all four rooms that I reserved were pre-paid for, when my family came to check in, the staff said my payment was declined? "Nice Outside; Inside a work in progress"
We needed a cheap one night stay in Nashville. This hotel offered this. The hotel was easy to locate and on our arrival the gentleman at the front desk was very accomodating, friendly and efficient. Check-in was quick as I was prepaid. The lobby was very clean and nice. The exterior building and the grounds/landscaping was very nice. All public areas […] were immaculate. I was somewhat disappointed in the room after seeing how nice the outside looked. I wasn't expecting great and five star for the price we paid, but it definitely needed updating. The carpet and furniture was old and there were cigarette burns in the couch cushion. The rooms were also very small and left little room to maneuver with the pullout sofa in use. The refrigerator made a funny noise and the air conditioner was loud but worked very well. The beds were clean and ok to sleep in, but no additional sheets or pillows were available for the pullout sofa. Last but not least, we had very little warm water even on the first shower taken the next morning. The staff member was very accomodating and offered another room for us to shower in and gave us a partial refund. It looked to me like a work in progress.
