Great time there. Great location, if you're also into the nightlife scene. Awesome restaurant--Republic of Texas--at the top of the hotel. It's pricey but it's worth it for the service, food, etc. Dress is business casual. We did not require much or any hotel service. The valet was efficient and were able to recommend several places to go for our occasion. […] The breakfast buffet is great. I would book another stay, although I would look for the best deal out there. For $150 a night, I would expect a better bar than what they had on the 2nd floor. Not happy will not be coming back. Hotel staff came into our room without knocking while we were getting out of the shower. Car was left in accessory mode all night by valets and battery was dead, now car is having issues.

Only unsatisfactory part of stay was the size of the indoor pool. We chose the hotel so we could use an indoor pool. The indoor pool is about the size of a hot tub. Don't choose this hotel if you are looking to use an indoor pool.

Expedia warned us that the Omni we booked was now a Holiday Inn. To put it bluntly Holiday Inn has a lot of work ahead of them to turn this into an acceptable (even just Holiday In) Hotel. The staff was very friendly and pleasant except the loud and chatty cleanning crew. The Hotel is obsolete at best in its current state. May i suggest the management they actualy install accessible wall plug somewhere in the room, IF you do own a phone you will end crawling under the desk to charge it. They tried to send me up the road to another building they sold to Holiday Inn, told me that when I made my reservation it was the Omni but now it was sold to Holiday Inn. Once they saw how unhappy I was they called the Towers and had my reservation honored for the night. I had a marina view reserved, they put me in a room on the fifth floor where if […] I tiptoed on the balcony and bent over the rail I could see the water. The bed was very uncomfortable with little to know room to walk on one side of the bed because of a lounge chair. WiFi is not free unless you join the Omni rewards program, and then it is not unlimited unless you pay to upgrade. Probably wouldn't choose to stay there again on purpose. Read more

Our room had a non-functioning outlet and a toilet tissue holder that was falling apart. The maintenance department fixed these promptly as soon as they were informed. The restaurants are very good at the Omni.

We stayed over the Christmas holiday. Nice clean rooms, but we did notice an unmistakeable musty smell, especially at night. Also, the heater was quite loud when it turned on and off during the night. Everything else was top notch.

Location and view is great. Can run, walk on bayfront. Room and bed very comfortable. As with many hotels, could use another chair. Bathroom a bit small. Bath towels are nice and thick. I had never been to Corpus but had stayed at many Omni chain hotels so I didn't think twice about booking at the Omni there. When I arrived the hotel seemed a bit deserted, but I figured Corpus was more of a summer tourist spot and didn't think past that. When I arrived in my room I placed my bags down and got into bed as I was tired. My boyfriend noticed […] that there was blood stains on the sheets. [ I took photos. They are disgusting]. When I reached for the phone there was no dial tone when I placed it to my ear. I tried using the other phone in the room and it didn't work either. I called the front desk from my cell phone and was eventually upgraded to another suite in the same building. I was pleased with the service then UNTIL my boyfriend got in the shower and water started to leak through the wall into the living room area [ I took photos of this as well]. Of course I called the front desk and was moved to another suite in the renovated building and was told that the first building I went to was sold to the Holiday Inn [ beware that this building should be renovated before you chose to stay there. It's literally falling apart]. More apologies and 6 complimentary breakfast tickets later, this building was better but still not up to Omni standards. WE RENTED THIS HOTEL FOR THE POOL AND SPA...BOTH WERE CLOSED FOR REPAIRS, WE ASKED TO GO TO THE MARINA SO WE COULD USE THEIR INDOOR POOL. THEY WOULD NOT ACCOMODATE US, THEY CHARGED US $10 FOR PARKING BUT THERE WAS A WEDDING THAT NIGHT SO WE DIDN'T EVEN GET TO USE THE PARKING GARAGE,BUT HAD TO PAY FOR IT ANYWAY

You have to pay for slow internet service (think about it). Parking is ten dollars but that is not much. Corpus is not a rugh city so you can get away with parking your car along the sea wall. You can tell that this hotel is aging and I am sure they are keeping up with what they have to support this matter. Beautiful hotel. Beautiful room with ocean view from balcony. But...extra charges for everything. $10 to park, very overpriced food, charge to use the business center computers and another charge to print out anything. No restaurants within walking distance, a car is a must. Be aware that the price of your room is just the beginning!
