Directly in the city so shopping was easy and the staff were very pleasant and polite. It was vintage themed which was unique for me and very clean and comfortable. Would stay there anytime.

This hotel is in a fantastic location. I'm sure the hotel management realizes this. Having another hotel in this close area would be helpful to provide competition and if so, I think the Mercure could step up and become deserving of 5 stars rather than 4. They simply need to try a little harder.

Not a pleasant stay, both reception and night staff were not friendly in any way and failed to explain any of hotel services such as breakfast times etc. Room was large but tired looking and bed was very uncomfotable. Shower was mixer taps over the bath which meant I was either scolded or frozen as temperature was nightmare to control.

Great hotel for the price. The breakfast was excellant and the decor in the public areas was magnoficent victorian. Another big plus was the free carpark at the rear of the hotel.

Es liegt damit sehr einkaufsgünstig. Abends hat es den Nachteil , dass laute Musik aus einem anliegenden Club hörbar sein kann. Insgesamt strahlt das Hotel den Charme vergangener Zeiten aus. Der Zustand der Zimmer legt diesen Eindruck ebenso nahe. Undichte und kaputte Fenster sowie von der Wand blätternde Tapeten zeugen von wenig Pflege und Instandhaltung.
