The hotel was surprisingly updated style wise with regards to décor especially for the hotel class Hampton Inn is a part of. The rooms were comfortable and pleasing. The hotel staff was amazing especially a young lady by the name of Courtney. I left my pillow in my hotel room and when I called the hotel two days later, they not only had it but said […] they would ship it back to me for free – it was part of the hotel policy. Would stay here again. Comfortable and home-like. Enjoyed the public space. Loved the breakfast with hot eggs, bacon or sausage, oatmeal with raisins and nuts and brown sugar available, good coffee. Staff friendly and helpful. I will look for Hampton Inns now elsewhere.

I checked into the property late in the afternoon & check-in went normal, the room was comfortable & quiet. The surprise came in the morning when there was no hot water. I went to the desk to report it and another guest behind me said, "Yes, same problem for me on the 2nd floor". Things happen, things can break. Oh, he wrote it down & I'm sure attached it to a fix-it-quick list, but no apology and no offer to make it right for me or the other fellow. I'm a die hard Hilton family man, but I wished I'd have stayed with my friends at Comfort Suites. My non-smoking room was right next to a smoking room, something kept banging in the walls like shaky pipes, and the hot tub was about 75 degrees. Staff was great, but doesn't make up for an uncomfortable bed in a smelly room.

The front desk folks always said hello and asked if everything was OK. The room was exceptionally clean; everything we needed was in the room. We stayed only one of the two nights we booked but this was a great hotel, especially for the price. Good breakfast, coffee &tea on all day, front desk staff was extremely helpful and nice. The workout room, while we didn't use it, seemed VERY cramped. Bring your running shoes and find an outside path somewhere instead!

I can't say this hotel was my first choice but hotels.com was giving a deal on the place and I took advantage. The hotel was very nice but it was just used for sleeping and showering. My only complaint is that the discount I received from hotels.com was only good until checkout time, so double check these things prior to signing up.

The main reason that we booked this hotel was to have a mini-vacation. We wanted to swim and use the hot tub. When we arrived the hot tub had piles of sand in it and the pool had sand in it as well.
