"Nice hotel downtown"
Stayed at the millennium Hotel because of its reputation. VFW weekend hundreds of people in for a convention. Staff was overworked. Parking was four blocks away. They charge $18 for self parking. But the parking lot itself would only charge $16 per day. Nice enough hotel. But way way overpriced on this given weekend.Genuine Expedia guest review

We stayed for two nights. When our room was not cleaned on the first night we called the desk and told them that we needed towels. They came in and threw the towels on the bed. "Hotel not worth the $300 I paid for it!!"
I didn't see anything special about this hotel that it should cost an outrages amount for one night. Yes it's close to the stadium but I've stayed in other hotels that were cheaper and alot nicer. "Nice center location"

"Nice hotel not so nice staff"
The hotel was really nice. I did not know check in was at 4. So I got to the hotel at 215 for a 3 o'clock baseball game and they did not have my room ready. The lady working was not nice about it and never told me that check in was at four and that could be way. Y room was not ready. "Disappointing for the price"
Room was small, considering the price of the room. Satellite TV went out twice. They have a parking garage behind the hotel that you can park for $18 a night. On our second night, I was not allowed to park in the garage I had paid for. The garage was "full". But if you paid for the Valet service, they parked your car there. I had to park in the "overflow" […] garage a block and a half away. When I asked the clerk at the front desk why I wasn't allowed to park in the garage behind the hotel, she said it was out of their contral because it wasn't their garage (even though their name is on it) and the good news was the overflow garage was the same price. Our room was clean and comfy, which met our requirements, but still not a place I would recommend over anywhere else. 10 years ago, a friend stayed at this hotel and we stayed across the street and it hasn't been updated since. It's 2014 and the hotel charges extra for WiFi and even more for "Premium WiFi", something that should be free at this point. […] When we arrived their parking lot was full so we were sent to an overflow lot a block and a half further. No apology, no discount rate. Walking in the rain two blocks at a 4 star hotel makes you wish you stayed at a motel and just walked into the room from your parking spot. This was truly a great hotel in a perfect & central location within downtown. My husband & I traveled with our two children (ages 4 & 6) and stayed overnight wishing to visit the Gateway Arch which was walking distance. We walked to the Cathedral, City Garden, dined at Pi Pizzeria. We only hoped to have more time for City Museum which was also down […] the street, but no time left. Anyway, breakfast was outstanding!!! Crepe & omelette station among fresh eggs, sausages, bacon, biscuits & gravy. The buffet also had milk options, full carafe of coffee at your table, and assortments of oatmeal toppings. The breakfast was a great bargain and we keep talking about it. We really enjoyed the Renaissance hotel minus a few small things. The first thing is the television set from the early 90s. We asked at the front desk if we could get cart for our bags in the vehicle across the street but it seemed to be a very difficult problem so we walked across and carried bags in ourselves. I booked this hotel based on location for one quick night/stop over while traveling cross country. Everything about it was great, from the ease of parking, the staff, checking in, cleanliness, comfort and the buffet breakfast was EXCELLENT and so was the service.
