Only complaints are that the rooms are Small! Wi-Fi is NOT free. But very nice hotel and great location. Walk to Arch and Landing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous. It's a good location. The ballpark, City Museum and restaurants were all within walking distance. For the cost, I would have expected a refrigerator, microwave and free wifi in the rooms.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel and staff was awesome! There are plenty of amenities surounding the hotel and various places to eat within walking distance.Genuine Expedia guest review
"little over priced but employees very nice!"
Beds were not comfortable. was suppose to be 2 double queen beds but were smaller and uncomfortable. Hotel personel very nice and professional. Room rates were a little high for what we got. No bathroom exhaut fan either.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel, 2 blocks away from Edward Jones Dome"
It was a wonderful experience, it was in the heart of downtown. Went to see real madrid, and the stadium was very closeGenuine Expedia guest review
"CLOSE TO BUSCH STADIUM!!"
IT WAS SHORT & SWEET, BUT A NICE STAY. EVERYONE VERY FRIENDLY, NEVER HAD TO LOOK FOR SOMEONE IF I HAD A QUESTION, THERE WAS ALWAYS SOMEONE THERE ASKING IF EVERYONE WAS OKAY OR IF WE HAVING A GOOD STAY!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great location - suggestion for hotel staff though"
This is a great area to stay in, and the conveniences at the hotel are great like Starbucks, lively bar area, UPS, car rental, etc. My suggestion for the hotel staff/management... when someone asks for a late checkout, surely you can be more flexible in this area. Think about it... you have a certain number of cleaning crew. They can't clean every […] room by 11am I'm sure. Analyze the cleaning pattern, and base the available late check outs on a per floor/crew basis, staggering the allowed late checkout times. This will accommodate your guests and still allow everything to be cleaned in the same time frame it is now. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Can not praise the staff enough. They were on top of their game. Had my grandson with me, staff went out of their way way to make him feel special. The place was very clean. The furnishing were dated but that was easily overlooked with everything being clean and relaxingGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"close to all the family highlights"
Hotel was nice. Pool and hot tub were great. Very convienent to the Arch, City Museum, Grants Farm and the Zoo (all of the places we visited). Staff was very nice. Room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Only down side was the daily fee to park ($15/day) and for WiFi ($15/day), but every hotel is like that in St. Louis! Definitely would stay there a […] gain!! "Nice hotel on Washington"
Loved that we could walk to a variety of restaurants. Great breakfast too.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Disappointed in St Louis"
Everyone we dealt with upon our arrival were very nice and helpful. We have no complaints about the staff or general facilities. My complaint is with the room. There were bags of trash in the closet, dirty clothes under the bed. The room seemed very cramped. I am about 5'1" tall so I had to stand on the toilet to be able to see in the mirror in the […] bathroom. For the price we paid for this room, it was extremely disappointing. I wouldn't stay there again or recommend it to anyone else. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel is worth the money! We have stayed here several times and have never been disappointed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Disgusting and Horrible-- DO NOT STAY HERE"
This hotel was horrible, starting from the second we arrived. My boyfriend and I wanted a weekend away, so we decided to book a cheap room in St. Louis. When we got there, the desk worker had a screaming baby on her hip... I guess she couldn't find a sitter. She also didn't give us the room we asked for. When we asked to change, it was not OK by her. […] When we got to our room, we took off our shoes to look around. After seeing the stains on the sheets and pillows, the rings of gross stuff around the bathroom trashcan, and the broken TV, we went to the phone to call the front desk. The phone was also broken. When putting on our shoes to go and complain, we noticed the bottoms of our feet were black from the floor in the room. They refused to help us out past offering us another dirty room. We had to call the customer service at this website and they had to transfer us across the street to a nicer hotel. Don't book at the Robert's Mayfair! GROSS GROSS GROSS HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! "close to everything i needed to see"
Me and my husband had a great evening there. Everyone was very nice and clean hotel. We definitely will be back to stay again. Thank you!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was our first trip to St. Louis and the Renaissance Grand was in a perfect spot. It is close to everything downtown, including the Stadium if you want to go to a Cardinals game. We met up with some friends and had a great weekend!Genuine Expedia guest review
Our stay was very nice. The only thing I could say was the air condition was really loud in our room, it even woke us up when it kicked on. Employees and Hotel was really nice, especially Ms. Kay at the front desk. Thank you!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"love it every time"
Absolutely my favorite place to stay when we are downtown. Right off Wash Ave with tons of night life and minutes from Busch Stadium. Highly recommendedGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Downtown St. Louis"
This hotel was an easy walk to the ball field and the gateway arch. Everything was clean and the staff was wonderful. The only complaint was that the pool was small and very overcrowded. You couldn't enjoy it! Wonderful stay though.Genuine Expedia guest review
"July 4th weekend getaway"
I took my girlfriend to see St. Louis for July 4th weekend and stayed 3 nights. The location of this hotel was awesome! The overall experience of the city was also great and I would reccommend it in a heartbeat! On a side note, just a couple random things I would have changed.. The hotel needs to upgrade their in room TVs ASAP! Also, our window view […] on the 8th floor was looking directly into another rooms window across from an eye sore of an ally way. Just FYI if you are looking for some good BBQ make sure and go before 8pm or they are ALL closed! Overall experience was great! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"They charge too much."
The hotel was nice, staff was great! But they charge for every little thing. Internet was $14/day, parking was $14 a day and you didn't always get a spot to park so you'd have to go pay to park down the road. Was not happy with all the little charges that other hotels would offer for free.Genuine Expedia guest review
I always stay at the Renaissance when I am in St Louis.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that plans to stay in St Louis for any reason.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The staff was simply amazing!"
The location is great. The maid service was impeccable. Ruth at the information desk was very friendly. The lady who checked us in was beyond friendly and helpful, not to mention funny! Overall, the best stay in awhile ANYWHERE and I travel all the time!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very freindly staff and close close to sites!"
We took our children for 4 days and nights..my only complaints are the cost for parking everywhere you go, the fact that this is a very popular hotel and still has 1980's t.v's and that there are no working exhaust fans or a/c vents in the bathrooms. But I send a huge thank you to the wonderful helpful staff very professional.Genuine Expedia guest review
My wife and I were in town for a Cardinals game 4th of July weekend. We typically stay on the other side of downtown but this was a nice change of pace. The hotel was very nice and we enjoyed the bar both nights. The room was nice but not much of a view. It didn't matter though since we were out most of the time. Very walkable to Busch Stadium and the […] arch. We also discovered pi a block away and enjoyed the pizza there and caught a movie at MX Movies 2 blocks away and was a cool theater. The location was great; the staff was great; but the hotel was not that clean. The bathroom was dirty upon our arrival (they cleaned it well while we were there), and the whole hotel appeared a bit grungy. For the price and the location, I'd stay there again, but do not expect a luxury experience.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Halls were not clean. Room just ok. Too costly for this place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice hotel downtown St. Louis on Washington Ave."
the parking was kinda problematic. the main gararge was full until six pm and by then we were already in overflow garage. booked my rooms 3 months in advance and they were not together which was kinda disapointing. but overall nice stay for the price and hotel was very nice.Genuine Expedia guest review
"no customer service"
Someone used the hallway outside of our room as a bathroom. ( yes they pooped) After contacting the front desk, they said they would clean the hallway but wouldn't allow air fresheners in our room. The smell was so horrible we checked out at 2am and drove 3hours home after the staff said there were no room openings and they didn't reimburse any of our […] money! Very Dissappointed! This hotel is a gem!!! I will make it a point to stay there upon any and all return trips to St. LouisGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"more staff needed for holiday weekend"
The hotel did not have enough staff members working the July 4th holiday to handle the number of guests staying there. The check-in lines were long, and service was very slow at the hotel bar/restaurant. Also, there are limited dining options in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The hotel and the room were otherwise first rate.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was very nice but as nice as it was you would think they would have a mini fridge, microwave, and updated tv.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Everyone was so friendly..."
We stayed for three nights and it was a great hotel in a great location for our event. The staff were all so very friendly and seemed to like their job. The breakfast was awsome, yes it may be a little pricey, but we purchased the package where breakfast was included, so it was very reasonable. I had the best pecan pancakes that I have ever eaten.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay at the hotel was overall very nice. I will admit when I first open the door to my room I thought the room would be bigger. But everything was clean for the most part. And every staff member from front desk to housekeeping was very friendly. I wouldn't mind staying here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Trip with Girl Scout troop"
We decided to stay locally for our annual trip and found great rates for the Renaissance Hotel! Checking in was easy and friendly. Hotel staff was wonderful! This hotel was in walking distance of the City Museum and a lot of other great places to check out! Very easy to get around - great location!! The only issues that we as a troop had, was locating […] places to eat since almost all of the normal food places close at 5pm along with all the other businesses downtown. We had to make two separate requests in order to get the required kind of pillows for one of the beds. One request should have been sufficient.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel close to Busch Stadium"
We booked this hotel because it was located walking distance (half a mile) from Busch Stadium, as we were in town to see two Cardinals games. The hotel was clean, albeit most of the room looked a bit dated and in need of an update. The A/C worked, but we were skeptical that the temperature reading on the thermostat reflected the actual temperature of […] the room (seemed a bit warm). We were also disappointed that there was no complimentary Wi-Fi, an amenity that most hotels seem to offer these days. We were pleased to find a "boarding pass station" in the lobby that allowed guests to print their boarding passes and check in for flights for free. All in all, it was a good stay, if for nothing else than its proximity to Busch Stadium. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"between stadim and city museum"
good location, helpful concierge desk. indoor pool (no outdoor), nice excercise facility. Wish it offered free internet for the kids' electronics. Easy walk to the stadium and City Museum.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was very clean overall a nice stay. Negative to this hotel and stay room was not ready at check-in time long wait to try and check-in not overly concerned with trying to rectify issue. Hotel in downtown so walked to Busch Stadium and other area attractions.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Well located, quiet hotel"
Great hotel in downtown St. Louis. Walking distance to Busch Stadium. Rooms were quiet and peaceful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Cleaning rooms had to call housekeeping at 8:30 at night for second night then they showed up at 9 am the next morning to clean for checkout which was at 11 am. Concierge was never there and Starbucks was horrible with the workers inside bad attitude and slowGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Very nice, indeed"
Very nice hotel. It was easy to park and let the valet take the car and park it. We were there for a Cardinal game and just stayed one night, so had only one small suitcase each which we carried ourselves. Checking in and out was a breeze. Breakfast buffet is excellent, but pricey. Only issue is the time it takes to get the car brought around to use […] it. Took over 7 minutes each time. A small inconvenience. We will stay there again. "Great location for ballgame weekend"
The rate was great and you can't beat the location for downtown stay. Close to Cardinals and Rams games, Arch, City Musuem, etc. All within walking distance.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
