The hotel's very nice, just a short distance from the 7 train to Manhattan and one stop away from Shea Stadium. It's right in the middle of Korea town in Queens so if you're into Korean food, you'll feel right at home. The only thing was the air conditioning was a little bit on the loud side but that could have just been my room. Apart from that a very nice place to stay if you want to stay someplace quiet in New York.

Hotel was great. Room was larger than I expected after reading reviews of NYC hotels. Breakfast waffles were yummy! We had a King size bed...was a little hard, but the day we were leaving they were getting new mattresses. Did not realize that we were in flight path of LaGuardia, but we were in the room basically only to sleep, so it wasn't that bad!! The walk to the subway was really easy, but a little bit uphill coming back up 37th st!! Hotel personnel were very friendly and very helpful. We would stay there again when we visit NYC the next time.

We only stayed one night, but we were very comfortable in our room. The room was small but that wasn't important to us. The location was somewhat inconvenient as we needed to get to the Brooklyn cruise terminal the next day and it was so hard to get a taxi that we had to call a car service. Overall, the hotel was fine for a short overnight stay.

Hotel is clean and small, in the middle of Flushing's Chinatown. My room was in the basement of the hotel with a VERY high window facing the sidewalk. Not a pleasant setup but adequate for one night. Keeping the ac cold will get rid of the noticeable damp air in the basement. OK selection of continental breakfast. Friendly, casual staff. Walking distance to MANY authentic Chinese and other Asian restaurants. Easy access to La Guardia airport with 10 minute, inexpensive cab ride.

Even with mapquest directions, the hotel was difficult to drive to, because of one way streets in the area and people who pay no attention to crosswalks or walk/do not walk signals. There is no parking at the hotel and no way to unload luggage unless there happens to be an empty parking place in front. There was convenient overnight parking down the block that was quite reasonable with very reasonable rates. The best thing about this hotel were the people who worked there. They were very nice, friendly, and very helpful. The #7 train stops nearby (approximatley 4 blocks) and even later in the evening the area was active with people walking about. The hotel is also convenient to Shea Stadium.

We loved our stay at the Comfort Inn. It was way cheaper than staying in Manhattan. We went to NY to see a baseball game and Shea stadium was only one subway stop away. (YOu cant really walk there cause of highways). It was quick ride to Manhattan-approximately 35 minutes and coming home at night was safe. The area was quiet. We already have recommended it to family members who are planning a trip.

This hotel is not the best of anything, but if you need a place to sleep and an inexpensive breakfast, then this is your place. It's close to the airport and to the subway line, but expect a haul into the city. The neighborhood is decent and it's certainly diverse. The hotel staff seems friendly and provides good service.
