"Okay hotel, but there are better options."
The stay overall was decent. Check-in was quick, though not a lot of the anemities including shuttle service were disclosed. Information regarding services were not posted in the room, and we had to go all the way down to the front desk for information. Living area of the room was clean. Gorgeous, spacious 1 bedroom suite with large balcony and ocean view (that was part of the deal we took). Comfortable furniture, 2 bathrooms (low water pressure), well supplied kitchenette. No boardwalk access - Sandy washed it away Roads and sidewalks in the neighborhood are in poor condition for a scooter or wheelchair - If you have mobility issues, […] drive to a casino and park for $5 to access the boardwalk. Restaurant - excellent food, terrible service. Friendly staff outside the restaurant. Not enough handicapped parking spaces, but there are nearby spaces. The handicapped spaces do not allow wheelchair exit/entry from the side of the vehicle. Doors from the parking garage are difficult to open. Nice pool and fitness center. Biggest drawback - the elevators. Not confident that there are enough even after they finish the upgrade. If we go again it will be because we cannot find anything acceptable near that price. We will never go on a weekend - we spent too much time waiting for elevators even on weekdays. Two blocks away is Hot Bagel - great bagels, sandwiches, and coffee.
