Comfortable. Safe. Parking lot almost entirely fenced in. Had a king with a sofa, desk, coffee table. Whole hotel other than lobby smelled of chemical cleaners. Cleaning staff leaves a lot to be desired, though. Day one, something on the floor. Back to my room for night 2, after it should have been vacuumed, still things on the floor. Didn't replace […] coffee. Second night, had dinner on my coffee table, left a few crumbs. Came back for night 3, crumbs still on coffee table. Walked by cleaning staff upon my departure and not a vacuum in sight. I will probably stay again due to location and price, but I hope the cleaning staff improves. Read more

Not a bad stay....rooms were clean and they were in decent. The beds were okay. My only complaint is that the pillows were hard. The water temperature for the bath was too cold also. For some reason the bath water was warm, yet the sink water was very hot.

The hotel was ok. It was clean, the room was big, a little bit outdated, but nothing to complain about. The staff was ok too. The person in the morning did not seem to like what he was doing, but I did not mind. The person in the afternoon was friendlier. Now the location if this place is terrible. There is nothing around. Even if you want to have some […] fast food... Nothing! Downtown is FAR. A cab ride downtown could be as much as 34 dollars. To the airport? 69! So location is really bad. I travel to Houston in a regular basis and have stayed at several of the hotels in this area. By far, this BW is the best. The rooms are big, Very Clean and quiet. Parking can be a little tight, but not a big problem. I wood Highly Recommend this hotel if your in the section of Houston

The room is large, comes with both wired and wireless Internet (but bring your own patch cable), the bathroom is clean and they provide basic amenities -- shampoo, lotion, etc. The TVs are the older tube-style but the reception was good and remote had good batteries. Clean, comfortable, safe. Location is OK for the price, there are a bit cheaper hotels nearby but this felt a bit more 3 star than the other chain hotels. Breakfast good for the US, but off course not Scandinavian standard.

I had a very unique experience at Best Western. During the first night, the air conditioner was working fine but started squeeking and got louder. The staff was very accommodating and moved me to another room. I already had a sore calf on my right leg and was having problems in the bath room, and needed bars on the bathtub wall and a higher pedestal […] for the commode. I requested a handicap room and again, the staff was very accommodating and moved me to another room. Also, the continental breakfast was great and there was a big variety of items to choose from. I booked this hotel despite reading several reviews calling it a "no frills" hotel. I'm not sure what they consider "frills" but I found this hotel to be very comfortable and accomodating. The room was nice and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The only sub-par thing I noticed was that the microwave and refrigerator were old and outdated looking, […] but who cares! The rest of the room was very nice. I had to call to the front desk to ask for an extra blanket (my mother is very cold natured) and I was fully prepared to walk down and get it but I never got "be right down" out because the desk clerk immediately told me she would have it right up to me, and she did! Had all the comforts of home. The only thing we did not like was the curtains in our room (not in all the rooms) did not close shut all the way. There were sheer curtains underneath but do not keep the light out at night. I would recommend having full closing curtains in all rooms,
