I enjoyed my stay very much. What I enjoyed the most was the shuttle service provided to and from NYC/Times Square daily. The price was cheaper than any hotel in the Manhattan area.

stay was good. cant beat free parking and breakfast this close to the city. Its not the fanciest place, but was nice,clean, & comfortable. we had stayed here while we looked at a few colleges for one of my kids. great access to NYC. only negitive is that the parking lot is on a hill and tough to walk up. Matthew helped me not only get set with my room, but assisted me in finding the most convenient way into nyc ....a feat in itself considering I needed to be there Friday night as well as very early Saturday morning. Matthew also later googled directions for me on how best to get out of North Bergen and head home. He then printed all of this out for me! What a huge relief that was....I am so grateful to him for all of his help! The room itself was great, too......except for the air system...it was SO loud, that I found it difficult to sleep. The hotel was very comfortable. The first morning we were there, there was scrambled eggs and sausage (fat links) for breakfast. It was the best sausage I've ever eaten. Nice people, quick to my requests, good breakfast, modern hotel located in New Jersey about 15 minutes from Manhattan. Room rather small for all the furniture inside. Good value for what I paid. Every hour there is a small bus that takes you to 7th Ave and 41th Ave and brings you back later, for $15 go and return included. Recomendable.

Overall we were satisfied with our stay. The only complaint was that our Air Conditioner barely worked. A good location if you are trying to visit Manhattan on a budget. However, the shuttle service that is run from the hotel to the city was very unprofessional and unreliable. The shuttle service left me stranded in the city for 2 hours in the rain, and I finally had to take a taxi back at a cost of $80.00. Had two night stay at this place. Nothing fancy and overall it was a present stay. The beds were clean however there were some hand prints on the headboard on one bed. The hotel is built on a steep hill and so parking is not a fun thing to do, especially when you have heavy bags to move in and out of the hotel. The hotel is not very close to public transportation and the shuttle service is not always reliable.

The hotel was clean and the room was nice. Getting in and out of the hotel can be a pain with it being on a divided highway of sorts but it isn't uncommon for the area. An easy drive to Journal Square to get to the PATH from the hotel.

Information unclear thru expedia. Wasn't aware we weren't getting a room with 2 beds. Bathrooms didn't have a tub. Shower was old. Toilet didn't work. Maintenance didn't speak English. Staff defensive and not willing to accommodate. Breakfast room way too crowded. Not well staffed. In a bad part of town. Would not stay there again!

I was disappointed of not having the pool available as it was a main reason I booked this hotel per my children request. Breakfast quality was not to the standard as I would expect for holiday inn franchise. Coffee was cold and Danish were horrible taste.

After booking a room with two queen beds, I arrived to this hotel to find that we had been given one king bed instead. I went to the front desk and the rude woman behind the counter told me there was nothing they could do and I would have to "deal with" their mess up. Also, the air conditioner in our room only blew out hot air and they did not help […] us at all. We didn't sleep at all that weekend. The only two positive things about this hotel are the shuttle that picks up right outside and drops off at 37th & 7th in the city and the free breakfast. Very happy with our stay and would go again. Great room and close to New York. Two shuttles available: hotel's runs on the hour. Very difficult to get on in AM but drops off and easy to get on if leaving NYC by 11 PM. This one is more comfortable than public shuttle but the shuttle one runs every 15 min or so from the Super 8 next door.
