I was not disappointed in any way. The location was easy to get to and a magnificient view from the room of Niagara Falls set the tone for the whole weekend. Dinning was great and service was above my expectations. What more can I say.

great hotel with phenomenal service from the front desk staff. i noticed there were no robes in our room and mentioned it to the front desk as we left to visit the falls just so they were aware and i wouldnt get charged for them. i told them i really didnt need them. when we came back, there were 2 robes in the room, fresh cookies on the desk, new chocolates on the headboard, the bed was remade, and there was a hand-written note. could not have been happier with the stay

The hotel was reasonably priced and a two minute walk from the falls! The rooms were nice (King sized beds!) but watch out for extra charges...they will charge you a hefty rate at the end of your stay for just one nights parking.

Although we didn't spend very much time at the hotel, the staff called to see if we needed anything and they delivered. The beds were comfy, bathroom roomy and nice TV. The free breaky the next morning was good and better than most others I have had.
Location.
The Americana Waterpark Resort and Spa is located on historic Lundy's Lane in Ontario, Can., less than four miles from Niagara Falls. Within five miles of the resort, guests can visit Casino Niagara, Niagara Parks, Shaw Festival, various golf courses, Factory Outlet Mall, Marineland, and the Oh Canada, Eh dinner show. The city centre is less than three miles from the hotel and Buffalo International Airport is 45 minutes away.

Ideal for couples and families, the Americana Waterpark Resort's extensive facilities include a spa tub with invigorating waterfall, saunas, a fitness center, volleyball, basketball, and indoor and outdoor play areas for children.
Waves, Niagara's only indoor waterpark, includes nine waterslides, an activity pool, wave pool, spa tub with hot springs, and poolside restaurant. The water park brings together multiple pools, water slides, children's pools with interactive play structures, a snack bar, and a video arcade under its retractable glass roof. A playground area with shuffleboard and basketball courts is outside. The fitness center contains cardio machines.

Big attractions accompany the big falls experience in Canada. Fallsview Indoor Water Park, one of the continent’s largest, sits at the foot of the Rainbow Bridge. see all hotels in Niagara Fallswater park was great for my kids ages 3 & 6, but there were a lot of older children and teenagers, so they got bumped around a bit. I made a spa appointment before I left home, the morning of they called to delay me by 15 min no big deal, however when I arrived they had informed me they had me booked in for 11 now not 10:45 (original time was 10:30) […] When they finally came for me it was after 11:30 so by the time my service was done it was 1pm. I missed out on a morning at the water park with my family and no one at the desk apologized for the delay or mix up and seemed very disorganized. My spa appointment with Sarah was excellent, but I wish they would have told me when I would be going in so I didn't have to leave the family for so long. Read more
"Americana Water Park"
*The shower rod was broken and we had to call to have it fixed. *I killed several bugs in the bathroom. *The waterpark area said it was open in 10pm but they closed at 9pm. *The sheet had a hole in it. *The beds are so old they squeak. *The food was very bad.
Great place for the price. My kids had fun and so did the adults. The staff is great, and great service. Keep it up.

The hotel was very good overall. However, the rooms and carpets and furniture in the halls were all a little worn. I think the place could use a makeover soon. There was no screen on the sliding door to the balcony, which meant bugs came in if we wanted fresh air. All that said, the place was exactly what we expected. The waterpark and arcade were great for kids up to about 12 years old. The biggest waterslide was fun even for adults, and there was a decent hot tub. They use way too much chlorine, but you have to expect that in a waterpark for kids. if you have kids, they'd enjoy the water park. Better deal than paying for the large indoor park in downtown. Note that the water park hours are not convenient -- 10am to 9pm only. If you visit Niagara Falls during the day, there is no time to enjoy the water park. Just remember that this is not a 'resort' and it's very far from Niagara Falls. "Family Fun"
An indoor waterpark for the kids can never be a bad thing. Being that we went during the week, the park itself was relatively empty which made for more fun for us. The hotel is nothing special. Good hotel to stay at. This place is about a 10 min drive to the attractions. The staff was excellent especially Marlo at the front desk. Marlo helped work through a couple check in problems and made our stay there much better.

"Average hotel stay"
I found the Americana to be on par with your average hotel. Noticeable difference in level of courtesy extended to U.S. citizens versus everyone else. Hotel staff appears to take pride in offering nominal service to americans. Adjoining restaurant offers low quality food at high prices.
we had a great experience at this hotel. our room was clean, and all employees we encountered were great. the restaurant atached to the hotel was way over priced and not worth the money, we would not eat there again.

The hotel, rooms (clean and large), and staff are really great. Just be aware that on Tuesday's and Wednesday's for the rest of the 2010 year (I was told by the hotel staff) that the waterpark is closed, and it is not open until 2pm on Thursday's. The waterpark (when finally open) was great fun for my 2 year old; she was unable to go on the larger […] slides but everything else was fair game. We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with a very pleasant check-in where we received an upgraded room, which was very clean and spacious. The kids (ages 9 & 6) had a blast at the water park going down all of the slides, swimming in the wave pool, sloshing around the spray zone and even shooting baskets in the pool. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. I did think it was going to be a little closer to the falls then it was. Please note that if you stay here you will not be able to walk to the Falls. It is just too far. They give you free parking unlike most the hotels near the falls, but you still will have to pay for parking once you drive down […] to the falls and park. "Great Waterpark, Nice Hotel"
While the Hotel shows some wear and tear and attention to detail was not afforded when they did a remodel of the bath rooms. It's a decent place to stay and the kids will love the wave pool. Don't bother eating at the hotel as the food is sub standard and expensive. iHop is just up the road.

This hotel has a Waterpark and a Spa. My 8 year old loved the waterpark and arcade. If your kids are teenagers or above, this is not for you as the waterpark is for pre-teen children. I booked this hotel completely last minute and got an excellent deal. It was a very nice hotel, very good service, and clean. It was about 10 minutes away from Niagara Falls. the only thing I would say is if you wanna enjoy the indoor waterpark it would be best to pick a package b/c it can be very expensive and they don't have a seperate pool.

Lots of attraction within 5 to 10 mins drive from the hotel. The receptionist is not very friendly. very good set up with the parking and room locations, we don't have to walk very far to get into the room. the room needs a little bit more cleaning. the cleaning staff are friendly and polite. Arcade is enough for a 5 year old kid to enjoy. the waterpark […] is clean and not that big but i think it's very good if you have 10 year old kids and below. the restaurant was average. I waited for an attendant at Timothy's coffee and another staff even rang the bell but nobody showed up. overall my family had a wonderful 3 days stay and my kids enjoyed the waterpark. Read more

the pack and play that was given to me was extremely dirty...the water park water was cold my daughter did not enjoy it ...we went there for her bday. The carpet needed to be vacuumed

we had a bed that was broken i sleep horrible all nite and woke up with a score back .......in the morning i notice my side of the bed was broke .......the mattress sunk in ...and our pillow cases were stained! i was mad!

The stay was nice. The waterpark was not big but it is good for kids under 13. The traffic at the pool was minimal and we had a great time!! The hotel itself could do with some up-to-date renovations but was definitely good for the price.

Great price, good location, Hotel and room was clean and comfortable. water park is good for toddlers and small kids, my kids 4 and 1 really enjoyed water time. Cons, Internet connection is horrible, in the room (2nd floor) it didnt work at all cannot connect to wireless no matter what, called recepetion to get this fixed but nothing got fixed, in […] the lobby area there was some connectivity but very choppy. Almost all of people with laptop were in the lobby to use what small amount ot connection was available. VERY BAD, If they cannot provide quality service then should bot advertise about it. 2ndly Channels on room TV are limited to fox and couple of local, no Tree house or kids channel, kids were not in water all the time and when they are in room they want to watch cartoon and some times we adults want to watch some TV too. this a really good place if you want to take the kids. Nice size rooms and the water park has enough attractions to please every one. It is nice and clean. The workers are very pleasent. I will go again and hopefully we can go again real soon.

The hotel staff were very friendly and courteous and the room was spotless. Despite it being a waterpark, the room was very quiet and private. It was a little bit out of the way of attractions, but we couldn't beat the price!
