It was every rush the hotel are in Renovation now the rush begat at 7 am We paid a lot of money for a hotel that was defined as 5 star and in my opinion it barely reaches 4-star hotel was exactly during the renovation, lots and lots of noise renovations, forced us to local tax despite the invitation was written that it includes all taxes, prices at the crazy water bottle small of 0,5 liter costs 5 € Crazy price we paid 850 € for 3 nights it was really quite inappropriate compensation

The hotel is currently getting a facelift (exterior) so to say, but otherwise it was great. Wife and I will most likely stay here if we return to Rome.

So the bad, maintenance work was ongoing and we weren't told before or told when we arrived (no apology either) and the rooms are certainly not sound proof! The only part of the Spa open was the treatment rooms and the sauna. The pools were shut, the steam room wasn't working and they couldn't tell us when they would open. The staff were very unhelpful, anything you asked they just gave you a map. We needed to get train tickets to Naples and they just told us to go to the station ourselves oh and gave us a map. The bath tiles were dirty and had mildew. The good = great location and very safe. We mentioned the above to them and they did give us a spa treatment (15 min facial/neck)

Advertised as Spa but only sauna and steam room working, far too expensive for what it was......Although the staff could not do enough for you.....I think Expedia has not advertised this hotel as reality....Max. Rating for hotel, lower 4 star...I wish to complain and receive a partial Refund from Expedia for misleading advertising.....We travel a lot and know the difference between 4 and 5 star......Many of the guests were upset what they had paid for this hotel...Look forward to your prompt reply.....Pls. make sure you send a Hotel Inspector to reasses you rating of this property.

First time in Rome and this hotel was a 10 min cab ride from the Vatican and Colosseum. Staff were great and upgraded us to a room with a huge balcony that could fit 8. Would stay here again.

Very lovely hotel located so close to The Spanish Steps and The Trevi Fountain. Our room was very clean and was surprised to find a hottub for a bath which was big enough for two- given we were in a standard room this was a bonus for us. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I recommend getting the add on of breakfast included if possible and also ask for a room with a veiw. We weren't fussed that it faced into a courtyard but would have been nicer with a beautiful view which I hear they have! Only managed to try the restaurant on the ground floor, bit pricy but the quality was certainly there. When booking transfers ask the hotel to organise a normal taxi to pick you up rather than their personal car service which will cost you more than double the normal taxi rate- unless you want to be picked up in a big fancy car! The free fitness and relaxation facilities were very nice also however the paid treatments were a bit much for us. If I was going to nitpick, then the bath was a little scratched at the bottom and we mistook it for dirt but it wasn't.

Over all experienced was about my standard, that includes the staff at the reception and room cleanliness. The breakfast were okay- just wondering why the jar of fresh orange that was placed near the staff table was not offered to every guests that includes us. It is ideal for a 5 star hotel to have a kettle inside the room with complementary tea and coffee.

Really good spot to visit Rome from, alot of the sites within walking distance. The staff were very helpful although had a bit of a problem with mini-bar and was charged for something not consumed and told I should have checked the contents on arrival, this was resolved. Did not have breakfast opting for Gino's bar across the road which was fun and cheap. visits to the spa were included, enjoyed the sauna and steam room although pool a little disappointing, great gym.

The best customer service I have experienced in many years as a global business traveler. The staff at this hotel is incredible, can't do enough for you. I highly recommend it for business and tourists. The only negative is the cell phone reception and ability to get 3G or 4G on your phone for email.

We enjoyed our stay, the hotel was very nice and well located. WE unfortunately had a room which had a problem with the Wi-Fi, we were offered another room but had already decanted our cases and decided against the move, bad decision on our part. One issue I have with most European hotels is the lack of tea and coffee making facilities and this hotel is no exception. the mini bar had high prices. We ordered room service one night and it was poor, burnt dry lasagne and lukewarm fries! The room itself was very nice as was the ensuite. We used the spa, pool, steam and sauna which was a nice relaxing activity before a night out. Our room was clean and the toiletries are very interesting, use by numbers. The staff are very pleasant and helpful.

It was a treat for our last day in Rome. When we arrived at 12, we were told the room won't be ready till 2 which was fine. We returned and were told to wait. 1.5 hours later I got totally fed up and left for the day. The manager was apologetic and gave us a free bottle of bubbles when we returned in the evening. The following day I was charged again for the room as they couldn't tell from the system that I had already paid on hotels.com. Point is that it is a nice hotel but not 5* seamless treatment you would expect. The GM was incredibly patronising and only dropped it a little when he realised that once again the mistake was with them. He couldn't issue me a refund on the spot and was sent home with the assurance that it would be dealt with and that it was "a minor inconvenience". Minor to them...

Stayed at this hotel before. It is very stylish and superbly located near to the limited underground in Rome but well connected in terms of buses and walking distance to certain sites. A bit disappointed that the rooftop was being refurbished but we were just unlucky on timing. Nice breakfast facilities and wide opening hours to suit most travellers. Amazing showers in the room and a ludicrous array of toiletries in the room!

Hotel location excellent for Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain. Metro 100 yards away also a bonus. Best point about the hotel was the staff, they couldn't do enough for you, always polite. Worst point was room was too hot. Opening window was not an option as fan noise outside from airconditioning was a problem (obviously not all rooms in hotel are at back of hotel)..... Informed staff and room was cooler for the second night so we didn't ask for a different room but third and final night was unbearable again. To be honest this did spoil our stay, we didn't expect to leave hotel feeling so tired due to lack of sleep, maybe we should have asked to move after first night but we thought the problem had been fixed. The beds are excellent though. We had a queen size bed and was one bed, not two beds stuck together. One other issue with room was cleanliness in places...... top shelves in wardrobe (admittedly very high up and hard to reach unless you are very tall) were very dusty. I threw a coat up there and when I retrieved it needed to wipe the dust off of it. For such an expensive room I would have expected more. Final gripe was no tea or coffee making facilities in room. I suppose I was meant to use phone to order it (and pay) but I expect facilities like these as standard.

On arrival it has the wow factor with its Red & Black foyer and reception area. with all the nicities you would expect from a 5 star hotel. Me and my partner and one other couple stayed for 2 nights following a cruise to explore Rome. The perfect selection for location and the price we paid was exceptional value given the hotel facilities and tremendous breakfast. The only issue came with the less than perfect air conditioning. we stayed on the 4th floor and our first night seemed warm despite the aircon being on in the room. However we thought nothing of it and enjoyed all other aspects of the comforts in the room. On the last night though the heat in the hotel room was unbearable and clearly despite the noise it was making the airconditioning was not working in either of our rooms. We never slept a wink and when we called down to reception to be fair they offered to move us immediately. so we packed our cases and moved to another 4th floor room. that also never worked and we had tyo be up early for our transfer back to the airport so we just made do with the hot room and slept or tried to sleep on the top of the covers. All in All this final experience ruined our stay.

The Boscolo is a lovely hotel in central Rome. We could easily walk to many attractions and were close to the Metro, to reach farther destinations. Our room was very nice and spacious. No view, but the hotel offered many amenities we did not even use. The staff was wonderful, very pleasant, very helpful. The breakfast was great, a choice of a bountiful buffet, or a menu. We loved the friendly service. We would recommend checking out the night before, as the desk is very busy in the morning.

We did not enjoy our stay at all. We only stayed one night and it will be the last. Few days previous we stayed at the Rome Cavillieri, which is a true five star Hotel. When we first arrived, the hotel personal scared us into valeting our rental car, at a cost of 40 euro per day and informed us to take the taxi everywhere. He was adamant that we were not permitted to drive in the Rome city centre, per the driving restrictions stipulated by the city, and anyone but taxies and residents that are caught doing so would be charged 75-100 Euro per time they drove. He threw us in a panic, as we had been driving in the city centre the previous 6 days. After further investigation on our part, we found out that rental cars were not subject to these driving limitations. I was left very upset as he had it on good authority that this was the case and proceeded to misinform us. When we got to our room, which was to be for three people, we only found two. We had to remind them to include a third bed. For breakfast, which was included for us, we were told serve ourselves from the cold buffet, which had only left overs. Only later when we noticed other guests getting a la carte hot meals, did we inquire as to whether we had the option to choose hot meals as well. Over all the personal were not very friendly and had an air of arrogance to them. I would not recommend this hotel.

Good central location, a couple of minutes walk from a metro station. Comfortable room, good breakfast. Staff very helpful and friendly, though the guy who seemed to be the manager did give us wrong information a couple of times - he told us the Colloseum was closed on Republic day (2 June), when it was open in the afternoon and that we could go to the spa after we had checked out of our room, which fortunately we didn't wait to do, as it was all set up on the basis that you got changed and properly showered in your room. There is a roof terrace, but while you could access the terrace, the bar never seemed to be open and we never did work out where dinner would be served. They seemed to put out a few tables in the lounge area, but we didn't see a menu, so had dinner elsewhere.

Stayed at this hotel recently while on my honeymoon. It is a beautiful hotel with lovely decor. Our room was very nice and quite spacious, and we loved the bathroom. Location was excellent, a short walk to all of the main city attractions. We found the hotel staff to be very helpful and knowledgable. We enjoyed the variety at breakfast (although found it to be a little pricey). The wireless only worked if I sat in a certain spot in the room, it did work well when in that spot! Overall, a great hotel.

We did not eat in the hotel, so cannot comment on that aspect. The staff, including the doormen, could not do enough to help in whatever way they could. They were friendly, courteous and business like at all times. We cannot complain about any aspect of the hotel. Its location enabled us to access all the major tourist sites by foot and getting to the Vatican couldn't be simpler than 4 stops down the line from the nearby Barberini Metro station. Also simple to get to from the Shuttle Bus drop-off at The Terminus railway station

Lovely boutique experience with very helpful staff and dramatic decor in the common areas. Wish their food and drink prices had been more sensible as I would have used more of the facilities. Very handy being so near a metro station with a nice walk into the centro storico in the evenings. Nice quiet street. I think 5 stars is overplaying it but then the price wasn't 5 stars either so go thinking '4 stars' and you'll be happy.

We reported on different occasions that the main ceiling light could not be turned off and the only way to douse the light was to remove the card from the system on the wall but yet it was not fixed. We enjoyed our few days in this lovely hotel, very close to all sights we walked everywhere. Hotel was in side street so a lovely haven to return to. We had breakfast - buffet was very good, cooked breakfast could take time but was available till 11am.

I enjoyed staying in Aleph. The room was nice, comfortable bed and good bathroom. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is quite perfect, easy to reach from Termini and near the city center and attractions.

Quarto pequeno. Chuveiro pessimo. Decoração horrível. Cafe da manha de um hotel 4*. Coisas boas: dentro do centro histórico e perto de tudo, inclusive via Venetto. As meninas da recepcao são sensacionais. Destaque para a Chiara. Além de linda é super competente e simpática. Um cuidado: eles nao avisam que o hotel está dentro de uma area proibida de circular carro. Se você estiver de carro e entrar poderá tomar multa. Ninguem me avisou.

ne vaut pas un 5 étoiles, l'hotel est en rénovation donc attention au bruit, terrasse fermée... nous avons insistés pour changer de chambre car trop de poussière à cause des travaux et heureusement nous avons eu la chance d'être surclassés en chambre de luxe hors travaux. Par contre, perte de temps et d'argent à cause du petit dejeuner qui n'a pas été confirmé auprès de l'hotel donc pas de petit dej le premier jour, bien demander à votre agence de vous l'ecrire sur le voucher, sinon point positif l'emplacement dommage car l'hotel sans travaux reste pas mal du tout.

Voyage à Rome en Amoureux... Nous avions trouvé l'hôtel parfait pour nous : proche du métro, à proximité de tout, très jolies photos sur le site, que demander de plus ?! C'est là que commencent les problèmes... PREMIER POINT : Mail envoyé à la direction de l'hôtel avant notre séjour pour avoir des informations concernant quelques points techniques comme : pouvons nous déposer nos valises à la réception en arrivant au matin avant de récupérer la chambre ? Quels restaurants à proximité de l'hôtel sont conseillés ? Eh bien je suis toujours dans l'attente d'une réponse ! Pour un 5 étoiles, je trouve que l'absence de réponse à ses clients est inacceptable ! DEUXIÈME POINT : Avoir un hôtel 5 étoiles avec une façade en rénovation sans être au courant est vraiment dommage ! Aucune excuse pour la gène occasionnée ! TROISIÈME POINT : demander à la réception comment faire pour appeler en France depuis l'Italie et avoir un membre de l'équipe qui vous donne des informations erronées... Autant de débrouiller seul ! QUATRIÈME POINT : réserver une chambre double supérieure, avec un très grand lit et avec un petit déjeuner compris dans le prix, arriver le matin et se voir refuser l'accès à la salle pour déjeuner ! Alors là, on dépasse les limites ! L'hôtel a même refusé de me faire une facture ! Quel dommage pour un hôtel soit disant 5 étoiles ! Contact pris avec Hôtels.com pour effectuer un remboursement, en attente...

Très bel hotel, bien situé, propre, impécable. Juste à savoir taxes de l ' hotel pour la ville de Rome à régler sur place(assez importantes), car sur la facture de l'hotel est mentionné taxes et frais mais cela ne correspond pas à leurs taxes.
